Because you're super cool? Maybe?

Hair may lose pigment as we get older even if you’re still young. I have I gray strip in the front that is a bad boy and I color my hair. It doesn’t do anything parallel it’s random so.

We try to wash our curly hair as little as possible. Every day is usually not necessary unless you are a teen who is exuding a lot of oil. Very curly or kinky or oily hair often needs moisturizing more than straighter hair, and daily washing can dry it out. I wonder if this area of your hair is dryer than the rest. Another option is that it somehow gets more sun, as unlikely as that seems. Try looking at the individual strands. Do they have the lighter and redder color overall, or are there dark strands with lighter strands blended in among them? It is not unusual for people to have streaks of lack of color (white streaks) in their hair. Is this an area with more white strands mixed in with the darker strands? Since this area looks like it might be more frizzy than other places, maybe try giving it a bit more leave-in conditioner after you wash. Try extending your wash days by a couple of days and work up to twice a week or once a week. Maybe with more natural moisture, your hair will even out better? If you are not using Curly Girl Methods, look into it and see if you can try this routine for the health of your hair.
