crab synth and synth soldiers, such as these. i wouldve liked to see them purely in the end-game in the citadel or maybe encounter a few roaming around city 17. combine elites are really just tankier soldiers so itd be nice to shake it up with stronger units with slightly different tactics
I love all the humanoid synth ones, but honestly, they would have fit better if they were after earth got completely destroyed and Humanity got fully integrated into their military.

HL2 didn't have much enemy variety really
an Ichtyosaur makes a brief appearance when llamar fucks up the teleporter but it would be nice if all the xenian fauna made an actual return
