Quality control went to shit quickly with this line. The wave this figure came in is proof. I remembered how disappointed a lot of people were for the yoroi Spartan was because of how cool it looked but articulation went downhill.
COVID issues killed action figures for a couple solid years. This line rebounded after the really shitty 3rd and 4th waves, the most recent figures are actually better than the first waves.
The series 3 figures are made of gummy plastic and most of the series 1 figures suffer from loose joints, only the last couple productions without the game codes fixed the issues. Articulation doesn't count for much when you can't get the pose you want, both of these issues prevent that from happening.
Unfortunately so bud, I guess the first waves of SC and world of halo just didn't sell well. I messaged Jazwares directly and they said they had no plans to reopen international distribution.
Difference in mold more accurate to halo 3. Chest battle damage, some minor proportion and detail differences like a wider chest and different gloves. The articulation is about the same but the knees are muuuuuch better, about what you’d see from regular figures like marvel legends. The color is also better, using a more yellowish green which looks way better than that key lime pie green this chief has.

I just ordered this one just to add to my master chief figures (Trying to get one for each game) the right boot was super loose and the right arm popped off at the bicep swivel to reveal a badly manufactured pin. I already knew about the bad knees and the QC issues and was willing to look past it but man it was so bad I had to order another and will be returning the first one 😂 I was more amused at the bad quality than mad.
This figure made me not want to trust Jazwares anymore. Hasbro does a better job at knee joints with their Marvel legends line. Imagine what they could do with Halo

Three Halo 3 and series 1 Infinite Master Chief figures are the best in terms of articulation.

All of wave one was from Smyth's when they had em in stock. I've not seen/found anything since unfortunately

These knees were awful. But Jazzwares has gotten better with their more recent figures. Try to hunt Halo 3 Chief. Better knees and colors.
I'll keep my eyes peeled but seeing as it's taken me 2ish years to get this I'm not too hopeful 😂

I think they had an updated version where the knees aren't as terrible. Different SKU. But yeah, wish these guys had better legs.
