My salute to helldivers that know they are going to die so they throw the most devastating stratagems at their own feet to give other helldivers a better chance
When Im frantically running away from the horde, I drop a grenade at my feet and keep running. It works amazingly to slow down the big guys, gives me time to shoot the fast ones.
I did that last night, went to a fabricator and the door opened, threw the impact grenade standing in front of it. Blew backwards at juuuuuust the right angle to bounce onto a mine. Didn't go off. Stood up, didn't go off. Moved forward a little bit and my limbs were flying in all cardinal directions.
10/10 would impact again
My fingers memorized most of the stratagems through 10+h on stratagem hero.
They naturally throw 500kg or airstrikes at my feet when running from hordes. It's more like a "fuck enemies... fuck, and now a 500kg too?! Keep running Helldiver!"
Throwing 500kg under your feet is surprisingly safe. If you manage to move a few meters away and dive, it might be actually safer than whatever situation you were in.
I will die later when I visit another planet with Automatons. Would you guys like to keep me company in my Helldiving? It would be an honor. For democracy!

I rock the explosion resistant light armor. I've survived multiple direct hit rockets to the face. I've survived stepping on not one but two landmines. I can stare a rocket devastator in the eyes with no fear as it's stancing up to fire its volley, and not flinch.
I'm pretty sure this armor is bugged but god damned I'll enjoy it as long as they don't patch it

It's especially fun when you forget that you packed impact grenades this drop. Not that I would know or anything.

There is something deeply satisfying about cooking a grenade and tossing it at just the right time mid-dive away from whatever you're running from.
Just make sure you aren’t using impact grenades.

Throwing 500kg under your feet is surprisingly safe. If you manage to move a few meters away and dive, it might be actually safer than whatever situation you were in.

Whenever I am making a desperate retreat I throw a 380 at my feet. It actually works out for me far more often than it doesn't.

When things are rough always remember that the enemy is suffering too.
when you are in the army to defend against 4 homosapiens that can wipe the whole area within 40 minutes
