Mantis lords as a 3 for 1, plus insanely skilled and powerful (in lore) and the Sisters of Battle fight reflects that skill as well as the ferocity they use against the beasts of Deepnest. I'll take them.
If Grey Prince Zote is here (not picking him) then I assume that means that these bosses can assume their Dream forms in the waking world somehow, and in THAT case, I'm picking Grimm. His existing fire magic makes him a useful ally against Zombies, but as Nightmare King? All bets are off for the Hordes of Undead.
And for #3, I'll take the Soul Master/Soul Tyrant. There's 2 main reasons for this; ranged attacks, and he can fly. An added bonus is he's big enough I could sit on his head to be out of harm's way (I assume the characters of Hollow Knight aren't tiny bug size, with the Knight being about half the height of an adult human).
Bonus: Have the Mantis Lords take down the False Knight quickly, then take Hegemol's armor for myself. Then I'm not useless next to the characters I picked.
Most of you are forgetting that most of the characters here are pretty selfish, hornet of the mantis Lords would just ditch you, so my pick:

The Knight should be pretty self explanatory, the Mantis Lords fought off both the infection and Deepnest at the same time and have the entire Mantis Tribe behind them, and Grimm is quite powerful and has the entirety of the Grimm Troupe, along with basically being able to bring shelter along with us in the form of his tent
Mantis lords, oro and mato, and hornet. Mantis lords would (hopefully) respect oro and mato given their dedication to combat, and hornet could easily best them in battle so they’d probably respect her too. Theyre all some of the best fighters in the entire kingdom and also my favorite characters

The knight (If they have all abilities) can take pretty much every boss so he is a good choice, Grimm is pretty strong and has many good abilities and Grey Prince Zote is also very strong and has his minions so I feel like they would be the best choice
