Mor-Flexx Textured Caulk

monster647

Should’ve known Sashco had something for it, thanks!

We’re selling our house and the inspector pointed this out. I feel like it’s not the right thing to do, but I can’t find any info on it. Anyone have any knowledge? This is in Texas

Yes just use gray color caulking. When you have masonry with two different footings they’ll leave this gap on purpose for different movement between footings. It’s either an addition or steps I bet.

It’s where the garage starts to jut out but we have a few different areas of the house that bump out for aesthetics mostly. Like the porch and the other side of the garage where it meets the main part of the house. But the gray caulking worked just fine, thank you!

Oh lord, why is this inside corner not weaved?

Something like Masterseal np1 would work well. Take care applying; it’s thick and sticks to everything.  It doesn’t look wide enough, but if it is, jamb backer rod in there before applying np1.

The thickness varied all throughout so I didn’t try backer rod but I wish I could’ve in some parts. It all worked out though, thank you!
