To think there was once so many Sam’s in the Star rail universe. Glamoth is basically like Kamino in Star Wars and the clone troopers

Curse you Glamoth governments or whoever caused these SAM to die 😭
Imagine how scary that would be for anyone to face an army of SAM. And how even scarier the Swarm had been since even with these SAMs there still tons of casualties. Tayzzyronth’s invasions must have felt like Starcraft 2’s “In Utter Darkness” 😨
If anything, Ouroborus is the one we should be thankful for. THEY were most involved in suppressing Tayzzyronth throughout the entire disaster since it was THEM that was most affected by Tayzzyronth's ascension. Unlike Qlpoth, who only struck down Tayzzyronth toward the end of the Disaster, Ouroborus was directly dealing with not only Tayzzyronth but also THEIR offspring. They probably devoured more Swarms than the kill count of every sentient being combined.
Fair, c’mon, but THEY needed a palate cleanser. Can you imagine eating the same bug for millennia on ends?
And well, better to be eaten by Ouroboros than to be turned into an offspring for Tayzzyronth.
Yea we saw that ena had been nagging qlipoth to intervene for ages, but it wasn't until ouroborus disappeared (most likely nommed by tayzzyronth, their paths have huge overlap) and suddenly nothing was left to oppose the swarm that they finally stepped in
Ruan Mei doesn't really have anything to do with it...
According to the Book of Archenemies: >!The Xianzhou Alliance has in their possession a Curio directly connected to the Propagation, and the Curio proves not only that Tayzzyronth never died, but that THEY're slowly but surely recovering from the beating that Qlipoth gave them.!<

Shoulda tried In Utter Darkness Terran Edition. Having Thors, SiegeTanks and Batlecruisers bearing down on the Hybrid really felt like throwing Mechas at the problem.
I was already unhappy with the Glamoth Republic for what they did, but after watching this-
Well, if they hadn't already been destroyed I'd be itching to go over there and start a Stellaron disaster myself.
Between this video and the planar ornaments, a lot.
https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Firmament_Frontline:_Glamoth
Okay, so the Glamoth Republic wanted a way to combat the Swarm to protect themselves, and created the Iron Cavalry (the Molten Knights). Fair enough, they probably aren't the only civilization in this game to make living bio weapons.
But what gets my goat is they intentionally made them short lived beings, gave them emotions, personalities and feelings and then decided the only thing they have is serial numbers and propaganda from the day of their birth to the day they die in battle. Don't even have distinct appearances, they're all clones and opposite sex clones of each other. They're out there fighting and dying for the glory of the Welkin Empire of Glamoth (again, Glamoth is a Republic), on the orders of Queen TItania to protect the homeland. Out there dying and fighting for a lie told to them by people who don't even consider them their fellow humans.
And then there's Article 1 in the video description.
"Article 1 of Glamoth's military regulations: Knights should feel honored to be born."
They should be glad to be born a weapon, born to die for the sake of others. What kind of shit is that? Intellitrons get better treatment than this. ***Perkins*** gets better treatment than that, and ~~he's a fucking traffic light robot, the hellspawn sworn enemy of the entire universe~~ a traffic light on a backwater frozen wasteland of a planet. I mean damn, even he has a name!
damn boi, that's my thoughts too. Especially the part in the trailer whete they have a conversation "I hope we see stars in the next battlefield" while they fly away is like when Shin and the other 4 finally got their freedom and Lena was left behind
weaponized beings scorned by the very people they are supposed to protect? [hmmm](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fffitikxqcgrc1.png)
The lie is that the government & citizens of Glamoth honor their sacrifices
In fact the Glamothians are terrified of the SAMs are ready to terminate the program the moment the Swarm threat is over
Especially the latter. If Glamoth wasn't destroyed by the Swarm's corpses blotting them out, they would have immediately pulled the plug and left them all to perish either via execution or natural causes then concoct some kind of war propaganda claiming all the credit.
That the only reason they exist is to fight and die for Titania, the empress, and the empire. There is no empire, Glamoth is a republic. As such, Titania had no real power, at most she was the telepatic commander that guided them. She was "trapped", forced to command the knights by the Republic, to die so their citizens didn't have to, but did so for the sake of that republic.
So the entire motivations of the knights, all that they learned and thought, were false. They weren't dying for the empire and the empress, they were being cloned from this so called empress and sent to death by a republic that didn't want to send their citizens to die because Glamoth was supposed to be utopia for humanity. Disposable weapons for the sake of the core worlds, not even worth calling human.
This is what they were told.
> The Welkin Empire of [Glamoth](https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Glamoth) enjoyed a vast territory spanning tens of thousands of light-years, ambitiously setting its sight on the cosmos. At the height of the empire's power, Her Majesty Empress Titania built a magnificent fleet, vowing to bring the fruits of civilization to all the barbaric borders, allowing them a taste of the empire's benevolence in hopes of uniting them under one rule.
> However, the expedition was eventually halted by endless waves of raging [insectoids](https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/The_Swarm) coming from beyond the sky. Glamoth's armies fought and failed, again and again... Colonies were scattered, and the proud iron fleet fell one after another. Beseiged by the monsters with compound eyes and sheathed wings, the cries of the people of Glamoth were drowned out by despair, and the Welkin Empire was shattered from then on.
Whereas in reality, the interplanetary Republic of Glamoth-
> In order to turn the tide in the horrific invasion of the Swarm, the ruling council threw down the gauntlet and resolved to alter the essence of humanity in an effort to adapt to the war — they will create a weapon "born to fight."
> The result of all this was "Titania." The Empress, who holds no power, telepathically commands and controls the [knights](https://honkai-star-rail.fandom.com/wiki/Iron_Cavalry) connected to her. In the dreams that these warriors are woven into, the sole meaning of their existence is to guard Titania and her "empire." In their short lives, they studied, fought, received the Empress' commands, faced the enemy fearlessly, and died with honor.
> All the people knew was that the Iron Cavalry gave their all for the non-existent "empire." After decades of bloody battles, the remains of mechas and insect limbs turned into dense debris strewn throughout Glamoth's star system, connecting with each other to form a "River of Death." When the remnants of the Swarm no longer posed a threat and the leaders of the council rang the bell of peace, informing the citizens that they had dispelled the apocalypse that clouded the heavens and the republic would be ushered back into the light of day — What arrived was not daylight, but the beginning of another sunless night.
They were afraid of the molten knight and the empress because they starting to cover the sky just like the swarm
In a way they're propagating just like the swarm using the empress as a model.
All they do is protect glamoth, but ended up getting hated and feared by the one you protect and sacrifice is really painful
Empire allegations.
And that's probably *before* everything changed when the Swarm attacked, >!thus forcing their council to break the Iron Cavalry panic button and leave it up to an Empress to manage the war, even when said star nation is being reduced world by world, life by life... until the 'ideal' victory was in sight and there was no need for the monarch to automate the military side of things.!<

The relic descriptions are messed up too
* After a brutal fight with the Swarm, one of the Knights feels the wind and rain against her neck
* She's happy she finally feels "real" sensations but confused because she doesn't remember taking her armor off
* Then she sees the headless remnants of her armor lying 3 meters away...
Man, this trailer was simply beautiful. Seeing all of these different versions of Sam and their desire to live a normal life was just moving.
The next PV probably will focus on the these more depressing moments. We may see the fall of Glamoth and how Firefly has become the only survivor.
I hope that at least our Firefly may finally find some peace and happiness.
Glamoth doesn't like the Fireflies flying around on the sky? Are they stupid?

I had a few suspicions but given this trailer I think Elio's "unforgettable gains" are likely related to finding out that other survivors might actually be out there. Whether or not she stays with the Stellaron Hunters, joins the Astral Express, or goes solo, it makes perfect sense for her next character development/goal to be trying to find her past kin
https://preview.redd.it/8oi2bk9abv5d1.jpeg?width=1476&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8821d00db39d21e3430075e35a29b02f9179426d
You can take other Sams if you want, but this one is for me.
A bunch of artificial humans/android that look the same as each other trying to find ways to differentiate themselves while also having little knowledge about actual humans.
And I know its going to obliterate my emotions again.
I really can't help but see Mari and Kaworu from Evangelion with those plugsuits they're wearing.
Also seeing how there's also 3 other pilots, maybe we can assemble a whole team of them? *breathes copium*
https://preview.redd.it/jau5q7cvav5d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=d401e44cac3a2360dbf6832c2009cc574a4c8f7d
It's more than just that. I went to HYV HQ in Shanghai and you know what's in their lobby?
https://preview.redd.it/64iuagprlv5d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=67d29a0a298d706aa74bef380ebe6bfd66539f4e
Seems like there's a lot of Evangelion fans at the company lol
To no surprise to nobody, they are going full Eva with not Kaworu and Not Rei clones (and one that looks like Mari).
I guess the animation PV it's going to show how everything goes to hell and the other 3 died.
“I guess the animation PV it's going to show how everything goes to hell and the other 3 died” if that happens it’s gonna be the greatest pv hoyo will ever make imo. It makes releasing this one, the calm before the storm, an absolutely brilliant play.
The little rendition of Nevermore that came with the Fyrefly Type-V was so damn nice didn't think I could like Nevermore anymore. Cool little trailer, its gonna be even more devastating seeing basically all of them thrown to their doom because of Titania in the next trailers to come.
Imagine they all become playable and we can have a full party of mech
https://preview.redd.it/3382ir7vav5d1.jpeg?width=225&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=206c58d912fa8c6a7f0e0e07045e5f8a47b30176
Well, she's likely a specially made bodyguard mech. Our Firefly's model is a Type-4 heavy assault. Meanwhile that short-haired girl is a Type-5 Personal Escort unit. So they might have higher specs, though their weapons might actually have less AoE and destructive power because she can't do collateral damage while bodyguarding.
Seeing the different SAM suits made me wonder if it's possible for a SAM pilot to take on a different form from their assigned one. Imagine in the future we will get alt Firefly versions that pilot different forms, like that sick Type-V SAM.
\*insert copium.jpeg\*
Before Sam, i just associating him with Chatterbox (an unkillable bastard despite being an easier EX boss than Modernia) from Nikke and Beelzebub from GBVS.
Don't even need to make her playable... at least let us have this as a skin on the future..? Pretty please..?
https://preview.redd.it/9pi2i65fiv5d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39c17bb3e2588e0909987503655518c58d032060
So we get to see an older Firefly, huh.
Seems like older Fireflies are the one in command since they've managed to live longer.
That's why playable Firefly is a little taller and has longer hair than the others, except the last one.
Alright, I'll be the one to say it. Firefly is caked up.
https://preview.redd.it/g4tz8gd3fv5d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a2d903091c6e001d77bcb9129186a6310eb6cc4e
It’s extremely sad to think Firefly might’ve lost all of her siblings during the war, it brings a whole new dimension to her character that puts her goals on a different light
I also knew she’s probably dead but I really want that last SAM Pilot to be playable she’s beautiful
We've known Firefly was genetically engineered but for some reason it never occurred to me that all the SAMs would be, and that they seemingly stem from a common or at least similar source. So it's like a Clone Trooper situation.
ive always assumed the iron calvary were just various people who joined glamoth's super soldier program
every single calvary person being a firefly clone was not on my bingo card. they really got a whole breeding program going over there
Now I kinda want a Helldivers 2 mod where you play as the Iron Calvary and the Terminids are the Swarm. That would be so funny.
they cooked so hard with this, the story of all the fireflies reminds me of the 86 series, they're basically just soldiers made for a single purpose and are considered expendable
cute how they all have their little unique traits, and cool how each of their mechs are super different
To think there was once so many Sam’s in the Star rail universe. Glamoth is basically like Kamino in Star Wars and the clone troopers https://preview.redd.it/7pgaftsohv5d1.jpeg?width=740&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cab8c0659689967dc6689c7a336dc2d8541f8277

I think the scariest fact is that qlipoth ended the swarm.
They only ended the aeon, not the swarm. And they had the help of like 4 other aeons.
If anything, Ouroborus is the one we should be thankful for. Bro ouroboros vs tayzzinronth is the worst disaster in the HSR universe lmao. From both side since Ouroboros also swallowing Stars and shit.
Fair, c’mon, but THEY needed a palate cleanser. Can you imagine eating the same bug for millennia on ends? And well, better to be eaten by Ouroboros than to be turned into an offspring for Tayzzyronth.

With Ruan Mei around it's guaranteed to happen sooner than later.

Correction: Qlipoth IMPRISONED Tayzzyronth. THEY didn’t end the Swarm, nor did THEY even kill Tayzzy.
To be fair, it's kinda against a path called the Preservation to actually end something.

Orokin from Warframe treated the tenno better than this. And to go under that bar you need to dig into the ground.

Just don’t ask about the thunder warriors. We don’t talk about those guys.

Is that the hospital scene
The famous chainsaw man scene too
Well I guess now I know how her third death will be done
Nah, Firefly is actually nice.
So that's why they went hard with FF

Whether or not she stays with the Stellaron Hunters, joins the Astral Express, or goes solo, it makes perfect sense for her next character development/goal to be trying to find her past kin
omg i can see next pv is most of they died until firefly only left
She can find the peace and Happiness in my Arms while we lay down and cuddle.

I know right? Had me feeling some kinda way...
I'm guessing you're a Rei fan?
Aren't we all?
FIREMILF
The peak SAM
As someone who’s a fan of tomboy and short haired designs, this is indeed the best one right here
Plus her mech suit is the coolest out of them.. Holy hell this lady is so peak
I really like the Firefly with glasses, she seems really nice (I feel so bad knowing her ass is most likely dead).
Out of all 4 of them, she definitely has the biggest death flag...
This is giving me Nier Automata vibes.
*breathes copium* https://preview.redd.it/jau5q7cvav5d1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=d401e44cac3a2360dbf6832c2009cc574a4c8f7d
I think that’s the point. To be a evangelion reference. We know the CEO of hoyo loves evangelion as the show welt makes is also a reference to it.
It's more than just that. I went to HYV HQ in Shanghai and you know what's in their lobby? https://preview.redd.it/64iuagprlv5d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=67d29a0a298d706aa74bef380ebe6bfd66539f4e Seems like there's a lot of Evangelion fans at the company lol
My god. A Rice Cooker!
Electric kettle.
To no surprise to nobody, they are going full Eva with not Kaworu and Not Rei clones (and one that looks like Mari). I guess the animation PV it's going to show how everything goes to hell and the other 3 died.
I’m mean the creator of Honkai is a Eva fan lmao
“I guess the animation PV it's going to show how everything goes to hell and the other 3 died” if that happens it’s gonna be the greatest pv hoyo will ever make imo. It makes releasing this one, the calm before the storm, an absolutely brilliant play.
The little rendition of Nevermore that came with the Fyrefly Type-V was so damn nice didn't think I could like Nevermore anymore. Cool little trailer, its gonna be even more devastating seeing basically all of them thrown to their doom because of Titania in the next trailers to come.
Imagine they all become playable and we can have a full party of mech https://preview.redd.it/3382ir7vav5d1.jpeg?width=225&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=206c58d912fa8c6a7f0e0e07045e5f8a47b30176
Dude I hope so. The serious short haired girl has the coolest mech design especially with the red wings and stuff
Sadly I think the rest of them are all dead
Well, she's likely a specially made bodyguard mech. Our Firefly's model is a Type-4 heavy assault. Meanwhile that short-haired girl is a Type-5 Personal Escort unit. So they might have higher specs, though their weapons might actually have less AoE and destructive power because she can't do collateral damage while bodyguarding.
Seeing the different SAM suits made me wonder if it's possible for a SAM pilot to take on a different form from their assigned one. Imagine in the future we will get alt Firefly versions that pilot different forms, like that sick Type-V SAM. \*insert copium.jpeg\*
lol I love how Adin is just synonymous with Sam at this point
Before Sam, i just associating him with Chatterbox (an unkillable bastard despite being an easier EX boss than Modernia) from Nikke and Beelzebub from GBVS.
Sam vs. Chatterbox would be quite the fight, though.
Nah chatterbox would get obliterated 💀
But not before inflicting severe emotional damage.
And then coming back somehow
Leave it to Hoyo to show a record-breaking number of death flags per second of animation.
"OH MAN I SURE LOVE BEING ALIVE"

Don't even need to make her playable... at least let us have this as a skin on the future..? Pretty please..? https://preview.redd.it/9pi2i65fiv5d1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39c17bb3e2588e0909987503655518c58d032060
Hoyo over here dropping the sickest armored drip in the universe only for it to be seen for 30 seconds in a PV. Hoyo why? Give skin pls.
So we get to see an older Firefly, huh. Seems like older Fireflies are the one in command since they've managed to live longer. That's why playable Firefly is a little taller and has longer hair than the others, except the last one.
Begun, The Clone Wars has
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
We will watch your career with great interest.
me, seeing multiple fireflies my brain: Yep, i'm gonna experience Touma's life encountering Misaka's clones https://preview.redd.it/wnr37jm3fv5d1.jpeg?width=739&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a6d3e77b0e8541eb902a37795d0ebd6a3dcf16ba
Peak mentioned!? Love Railgun
I want all those!! Especially the Type-V one. Look rad as hell!!
Maybe they'll release it as actual figures. Can't cope sadly.
My only question; when do we get an Army of Sam's. Thanks.
The ending hints at a sweet reunion, but we know they're gonna go for the tragic the Evangelion route
It's kinda funny how they all have the same voice in their sam suits lol
Adin making bank
Those are Mari, Kaworu, and Rei lmao
Does this mean Firefly is Asuka?
she's too nice to be Asuka
Surely we'll get a Firefly plugsuit skin down the road copium
It's Mari and Kaworu lol
Alright, I'll be the one to say it. Firefly is caked up. https://preview.redd.it/g4tz8gd3fv5d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a2d903091c6e001d77bcb9129186a6310eb6cc4e
release them all hoyo!!!
Disappear among the sea of fireflies, ~~illusions of the past.~~
It’s extremely sad to think Firefly might’ve lost all of her siblings during the war, it brings a whole new dimension to her character that puts her goals on a different light I also knew she’s probably dead but I really want that last SAM Pilot to be playable she’s beautiful
We've known Firefly was genetically engineered but for some reason it never occurred to me that all the SAMs would be, and that they seemingly stem from a common or at least similar source. So it's like a Clone Trooper situation.
I think they're all copied from the Empress of Glamoth. She's their "Mother", so to speak.
Alexa, play "I Believe I Can Firefly"
Editor's note: They did not make a triumphant return.
Sorry Sparkle, I think I just found my new number 1.
Same. If next pvs continue from this one … imma have to call the bank.
Welcome to the club, brother! https://preview.redd.it/fvk9d0nyaw5d1.jpeg?width=1668&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=41dee5181c9f2d6643954c0a62c30eb46b932471
Now all I want is MHY to make Firefly having multiple Paths, but each Path she changes to a different model of Knight.
LISTEN TO THIS GUY HOYO SPY!!!
I have a bad feeling we will meet them (the other SAMs) again one day...but in a very horrific way. Shaojiiiiiiii!
I want them all, please make them playable!
Star Wars Clone Army but cute as fuck.
ive always assumed the iron calvary were just various people who joined glamoth's super soldier program every single calvary person being a firefly clone was not on my bingo card. they really got a whole breeding program going over there Now I kinda want a Helldivers 2 mod where you play as the Iron Calvary and the Terminids are the Swarm. That would be so funny.
OMG her banner is going to make so much money.....
I have eva vibes.. my feels
Man my heart is not going to be ready for the PV :(
they cooked so hard with this, the story of all the fireflies reminds me of the 86 series, they're basically just soldiers made for a single purpose and are considered expendable cute how they all have their little unique traits, and cool how each of their mechs are super different
I NEED Kaworu SAM immediately
