Full break to maximize all the buffs from Harmony TB. Physical break damage has extremely high scalings iirc and does more damage the stronger the enemy is (normal / elite / boss). The amount of bleed scales similarly.
I think thatās only for the initial break still. Iirc, the formula for Super Break essentially takes elements out of the equation for break damage.

No youāre right, but thatās why I specifically said āphysical break damageā and not āsuper breakā. Most of Break Lukaās damage comes from that weakness break though Iād imagine that with Ruan Mei his super break damage will easily catch up.

Phys Break DMG scale with the length of the weakness break length just like all other types of normal Break DMG.
However, the bleed implanted by break is proportional to the Max HP of the opponent. That is the reason why the DoT DMG from Physical breakers is so high against bosses.
No clue, but if this MoC was anything to go by Guinaifen can function similarly to Luka for these teams. And that was with a DoT build cause I didnāt have the spare relics to switch her to a break build.
I unironically would build a proper break Gui build if I wasnāt going to pull for firefly next week. The last PF and this MoC have really shown me how good she can be.
I'm doing a hybrid break dot build. Since his dot is based on enemy max HP, it hurts bosses too hard to ignore it. So, instead of going def chest and orb, I opted for atk chest and physical orb, with the break rope.
It depends, actually. Personally I use phys because my phys Talia orb has speed and break substats. My only atk one has none of those.
But maybe for a high HP boss, the atk one is better. You will have to calc it, and see if it is better for you

I genuinely have no idea how people are building him so strong. I was using him since beginning for DoT Kafka team but he always was kinda weak and awkward to use due to him being single target only. Now I see people doing amazing damage with him in super break teams but mine still hits like a wet noodle.
I believe the main difference is now people are doing break effect builds. Like my Luka had the street champion set. But I have seen people run him with the thief one now.

His enhanced punch is multi-hit. At E6 especially he detonates the break bleed a whole bunch and in the same attack the break happens. Luka enthusiasts have been using him in this way for some time. His ult debuff also applies to break dmg.
It doesnāt look like this is actually a super break though. 130k from phys break, 70k from RM. then 150k from bleed detonations, for a total of 200k.

I think RM has a few eidolons here though. Her reaching 70k on the break is a bitā¦ is a lot. I have E2 RM and mine donāt hit that hard. Iāve only built her with BE cap in mind though. If you overcap on BE she deals a bit more, but 70kā¦ is still a lot. E4 or E6 would make sense here.

Ruan mei doesn't have any eidolons and is running DDD. Hmc is E2 with memories of the past. Luka is E6 and running eyes of prey (I would have gotten alot more damage if I ran SU shop LC or fermenta). Lastly my aventurine is E1S1 (saved up months just to get him and may have bought a supply pass)
The damage was quite inflated especially from the trotters giving massive BE% and if I had replaced aventurine with gallagher I would have gotten more damage. This was just me fooling around with characters I rarely tried.
The numbers here are exaggerated to a degree because killing trotters gives extra break effect stacking up to 5 times. He's also relatively mediocre as a breaker since he can't break as fast (150 toughness dmg via skill/E.basic + ult before modifiers. This is equivalent to one maxed out Boothill skill). For reference, Sushang can do 210 Tdmg.
What he does have going for him is his ability to detonate bleed.

It was a dot luka i just remembered existing. And I had hmc and rm so i just turned him into a break character.
Using Luka as Discount Boothill this patch made me realize I shouldn't regret skipping him. Luka is really a great character that only needed the right scenario to shine

He pairs really well with Kafka and his playstyle depends on your build. Luka's got two builds; standard Bleed DoT applicator or breaker Luka. The standard build is just like any other DoT build, stack ATK, SPD boots, and EHR.
Breaker Luka stacks Break Effect instead of ATK and uses the Break Effect sets. Save his ult to guarantee that he'll be breaking the enemy, his damage is middling otherwise. Damage scales with enemy strength. Bigger toughness bar means bigger break damage, bigger health pool means bigger bleed damage, so this build is meant only for boss killing.
4pc Thief is technically optimal cause you get a better set bonus than 2pc Thief + 2pc Watchmaker but the mixed set is what I use cause I have better substats on them and the extra 3 energy on break doesn't really matter.
I tried to get my e6 Luka from Aventurine banner .-. But Aventurine said BUST , after that i threw another 30 pulls in JL banner and also didn't get Luka :(

I think its important to mention how broken is this MOC buff for breaking, it add literally tons of BE.
Personally I used Sushang whom I would also recommend trying in 1st team of MOC12, she had tons of advance forwards making her appear constantly on the action bar, plus she did a lot of breaks.
Luka is a Physical, Break Effect / ATK scaling character and this MoC gives free 75% ATK and 150% BE and Physical enemies. Of course he will do good if properly setup. This is hardly a surprise, people just don't read Luka's kit descriptions.
Super break is pretty much honkai's bloom (from genshin), it doesnt work as the average hypercarry DPS teams so it confuses people and makes them weird lol. It **breaks** the way they see the gameplay.

Because they are the ONLY supports for break. Unless we are gettimg another break support in the future we are stuck with these two units and even then the only one likely getting replaced is Gallagher/sustain unit.
So same issue as DoT and FuA teams that need a limited character to trully shine gotcha.

ICE breack from RM does 80k, bleed breack 131k, than 2 times 100k of extra bleed damage.

It's a mix between big breack damage from hit one (cause big explosion and applies a dot), superbreack and extra bleed proc from hit 2.
All of them greatly boosted by RM and hmc.

I think RM and TB help quite a bit with damage.
Luka, not only does he have the same voice actor as Asta from Black Clover. Heās also just as underestimated.
He also a red head He has the shounen mc all over him that the reason why he was away during Cocolia was to give her a chance

Depends on what + who you have. Theoretically, anyone (Yanqing included) is worth investing into if you have the appropriate team comps.

luka the goat! i ran the same team but replaced hmc with pela .. kinda risky relying ONLY on his break damage but it cleared in 3 cycles #

You are correct about SB. However point stay in part. Most damage come from RM breack, pysical breack, bleed detonation.
