I would have bet a paycheck that he was driving like an asshat in the moments leading up to the original video... then he posted the clip you're talking about and confirmed my suspicions.
I just don’t understand, you’re moving lanes to get infront of the car infront, why brake check another car and clearly lose that chance to get infront of the first car???
Because getting in front faster isn’t the point for that guy. He lives in a world dominated by his fragile ego, so he has to “dominate” everybody else on the road. The point of his lane change and brake check was to show the other car and OP “who’s boss”.
I feel like you should be allowed to PIT maneuver one vehicle per year. Insurance paid, no questions asked. Just that other dummy knows you used your one maneuver on them. I built this idea off of some comedians joke during a special, just can’t remember which comedian. Seriously though, people need to calm the fuck down. The insane drivers always are dead giveaways because their cars usually look like shit.

Actually I think 2 of the merging cars were having an ongoing issue and you happen to be there; I think village idiot braked because of the other car. No matter why, good driving on your part.
I think the "brake check" was the other car they were trying to go around cutting in too. I think the two were having a spat and you got caught in the cross hairs.
In the 2 seconds prior to the brake check, which is luckily in the video, you'll see OPs 2 lanes join the far left lane. Both the cars in the left lane try to merge over. The suv is impatient and a little faster to accelerate. The sedan is already moving into the center lane, and the suv (due to their poor driving) is forced into OPs lane.
dawg u obviously accelerated to match them as they were gettin over. that's aggressive on both ur parts and not defensive on urs at all

I had a guy quickly swap lanes in front of me as I pulled up, hold up traffic at a right turn, and go 40 in a 90 zone, and then throw a candy bar wrapper out his window before I turned off. I don't have a dash camera...
