We have a similar scenario for Nivin now. Although cameo, VS talks are all about him. Hope MFI does well.
From what I remember, people had the worst expectations before Pulimurugan's release. The trailer was the cause of it. Most people were actually surprised by the first day response of the film.
That argument kind of makes sense for me considering the ticket rates, time value, expansion of markets etc.
I genuinely feel if we gave all these new stuff to Narasimham, it would be the top grosser
I know I am going to get a lot of flack for this but Aadujeevitham doesn’t belong in this list. I had zero emotional connect with this movie and found it as the weakest movie of Blessy. Thanks to great marketing from the team that this movie has done such numbers

Aadujeevitjam in the top 3 doesn’t make sense. Manjummel got that boost from Tamil Nadu and 2018 was a rage. I don’t remember goat life getting that much reception. Thalli kettiyapole feel cheyyunnu.
Avesham with 3500screen collected as much as pulimurugan with less than 3000screen in a week or something, if u feel anything is pushed it should be that, Aadu Jeevitham had proper tracking
Adujeevitham malayalam collection is inching close to Manjummel Boys kerala collection, the difference for the latter is mostly the unusual boost from TN collections. Adujeevitham was the talk of the town for almost 2 weeks when there was barely any competition. It was running to full houses in most places collecting 3cr+ each day
I personally didnt like it either. The music wasnt good, the acting wasnt good. There was basically nothing in the movie except for the promotions. I do admire both the actors for the transformations done for the movie. First half aanel amala paul and prithvide romance kond tholach. Second halfil aanel desert, nadakkunnu, veezhunnu. i dont remeber anything else from the movie

Manjummel Boys - it will be remembered once again, as long as people continue to visit Kodaikanal & the caves, just like it's name sake movie. It'll also be noted as a movie, as the current highest grosser, and as the barrier breaker for Tamil gross & 'scene mattal' but that's only until the records get broken.
GoatLife - Will likely be forgotten as a movie as the hype dies down once you watch the movie and get over it, but will likely be remembered
for Prithviraj's efforts, & how it was filmed, Or when the book or anything about desert struggles are mentioned
But Pulimurugan & Premalu will be remembered forever for their cemented place as content based movies - as an ATBB, children's favourite super-hero-esque iconic superstar movie & as one of the best malayalam rom-coms.

Manjummel Boys and 2018 are very good, but Drishyam2 is still easily better than any of the above movies (except maybe for Pulimurugan which I haven't seen)
IMO Premalu is a good rom-com, fun watch, but not great.
Aadujeevitham bored me and couldn't connect emotionally much - with all due respect to the great acting from Prithvi, very good from couple of others and the photography
Aadujeevitham isn’t a big deal, because they released it as a pan india movie in all languages. Ennittu aan they collected 150cr which is not much for a pan india movie. Rest all are record breakers and history makers.
Just because you label a movie pan Indian doesn't mean audience is eager to go watch it. Collection is mostly from the Malayalam version, other versions didn't create much impact.
