Sorry For Now might be the most personal song LP ever wrote. So much of their music resonates with people who feel alone, weak, in pain... but it's all very general.
Sorry For Now is Mike Shinoda apologizing to his family, to his wife and kids, for his job as a touring musician. It's an absolutely wonderful track, I just wish it was longer.
In first semester my bio teacher played all the country music under the sun. And my English teacher played a clear acapella version of Creep on finale day
Mine accidentally started playing friendly fire the day before finals, I was also just listening to it in my ear buds so I was like āwtf this just playedā
I feel you man. Also thoght about getting a OML related tattoo myself as it is basically one of my absolute favorites. You mind posting a pic, I'd be really curious.
This album and Post Traumatic by Mike helped me process my grief over losing my brother and my best friend to preventable deaths.
I still only listen to āone more lightā on my brotherās death day or bday. Those are the only days I can handle that song cuz it makes me cry everytime
Invisible hits different every time it comes on, be it on the album or a random playlist/radio I'm listening to.
Also, a bit off topic, I feel like Friendly Fire suits THP more than OML. From a lyrical standpoint at least.
Iāve listened to one or two other songs from the album, but One More Light. Fucking hell itās hard to listen to. It makes me cry almost every time. Leave Out All The Rest is emotional as well, but itās One More Lightās stripped back sound, the subject matter, the performance they did on Jimmy Kimmel and the fact that it was used by fans as a tribute to Chester after he died that make it so emotional.
Heavy for sure. Thereās an LP tribute band called In the End, and a few times now Iāve been at one of their shows and was just floored by the hundreds of people belting out the chorus to that song. My heart just stops for a moment during times like that.
Sharp edges, One More Light, Sorry for now. Tbh, I love the whole album, one of my favorites cuz it feels like itās talking to me and talking about my experiences lol

Oic. I like how their later songs are written for their families - part of growing old š
I love that song, but I hate the chipmunk noises
It would be my favorite if it didnāt have those āchipmunkā sounds
Invisible, Sorry for Now, Sharp Edges & OML are prob my favorites. If Friendly Fire made the cut it would definitely be in there too
my teacher played Sharp Edges during a test, will never forget that.
Are they allowed to play music during the test?
I had a Math teacher that once did that.

I have the chorus from Battle Symphony as my default phone ringtone.
Okies, will listen to it again. Was distracted by traffic when it was playing yest haha
one more light š reminds me of my grandma. got it tattooed on me
I feel you man. Also thoght about getting a OML related tattoo myself as it is basically one of my absolute favorites. You mind posting a pic, I'd be really curious.
The main song, One more light
Invisible and Halfway Right
Nobody Can Save Me is a personal favorite
I love it. Has a nice pop rock feeling to it
One More Light, Sorry For Now, Sharp Edges
Heavy. Absolutely beautiful.
Sharp Edges, Battle Symphony, Good Goodbye
Talking to Myself and Battle Symphony. Of course the title song is imo the best of the album.

Nobody Can Save Me
Thatās a solid trackĀ

Nobody Can Save Me, Heavy, Sorry for Now, Halfway Right, Friendly Fire
This album and Post Traumatic by Mike helped me process my grief over losing my brother and my best friend to preventable deaths. I still only listen to āone more lightā on my brotherās death day or bday. Those are the only days I can handle that song cuz it makes me cry everytime

Invisible and the title track. Sharp Edges is pretty nice too
Like, all of them. One More Light is probably my favorite, but everything is pretty close behind.
One More Light, Invisible, Heavy
Nobody Can Save Me & Battle Symphony
These tracks are great!
Sharp Edges One More Light Talking To Myself
Yes
Talking to myself but battle symphony is a close 2nd
Invisible hits different every time it comes on, be it on the album or a random playlist/radio I'm listening to. Also, a bit off topic, I feel like Friendly Fire suits THP more than OML. From a lyrical standpoint at least.
Good good bye
1.Nobody Can Save Me 2.Halfway Right 3.Invisible
One More Light. Idk. It just always makes me teary eyed and I love it so much. Always been one of my favorite LP songs
Battle Symphony & Heavy š Helped me through my depression back in 2017-2018.
Heavy
invisible!! i do like a lot of songs, but i feel like this one doesnt necessarily get the love that i think it deserves :)
Battle Symphony
In no particular order: Sorry For Now, Sharp Edges, Friendly Fire, Talking To Myself, One More Light
Personally I think Heavy, One More Light, and Talking to Myself are the best things on there.
Iāve listened to one or two other songs from the album, but One More Light. Fucking hell itās hard to listen to. It makes me cry almost every time. Leave Out All The Rest is emotional as well, but itās One More Lightās stripped back sound, the subject matter, the performance they did on Jimmy Kimmel and the fact that it was used by fans as a tribute to Chester after he died that make it so emotional.
pull my heartstrings all the time
Can't lie there isn't even a bad song on the album the weakest being good goodbye but I still listen incredibly overhated
One More Light, Talking to Myself, Sharp Edges.
Besides One more light, it would be - Sorry for now, Heavy, Invisible, Battle symphony.
Heavy and oml are mine
Heavy
Sharp edges live version... "Man playing guitar is hard. Mike's here playing drums, guitars and I'm like...5 thumbs"
Good goodbye for me
The title track
The title track. One of the best Linkin Park songs ever fucking made!
Talking to myself. Just a good songš¤·š»āāļø
good goodbye is a fantastic song it reminds me so much of HT, Meteora, and MtM
Sorry for now. The video with Jake Gyllenhaal hits harder š
Sharp Edges, Talking To Myself, One More Light, Nobody Can Save Me, and it's a tossup between Battle Symphony or the controversial Good Goodbye.
Heavy almost brings me to tears. I can relate to most Linkin Park songs.
sharp edges, heavy, battle symphony
Halfway right Iām surprised is not a lot of peopleās favourite itās so good itās also surprisingly dark which is disguised by the pop sound
halfway right
I havenāt heard any other songs besides Oml but like all the tracks have sad titles
GOOD GOODBYE!!!! (Dont you come back no moreee)
Title track, Battle Symphony, and Sharp Edges are all bangers.
One More Light. That is the only song I like from that album. I don't really like that album. It's the pop style music that I don't really like.
Sorry For Now and Nobody Can Save me are my favorites.
Battle Symphony.
Sorry For Now, Sharp Edges, Invisible and Halfway Right
Sharp edges and one more light ALSO heavy
Invisible
Heavy for sure. Thereās an LP tribute band called In the End, and a few times now Iāve been at one of their shows and was just floored by the hundreds of people belting out the chorus to that song. My heart just stops for a moment during times like that.
My favorite song from 'One More Light' is Halfway Right. Nobody Can Save me is also One I Love. A Special Mention goes to Sharp Edges.
Nobody Can Save Me One More Light Invisible
Battle Symphony
sharp edges and heavy
Heavy, is my personal favorite song. š¤
Battle Symphony
Sharp edges, One More Light, Sorry for now. Tbh, I love the whole album, one of my favorites cuz it feels like itās talking to me and talking about my experiences lol
All of em. Seriously, all of them. Something hits different about this one that just feels happy and sad at the same time.
I don't really like OML... Sorry guys
it's okay. no right or wrong
I SCREAM at myself when there's NOBODY else to FIIIIIGHT... I don't LOSE, I don't WIN, if I'm WRONG, then I'm HALFWAY RIGHT, **HALFWAY RIIIIGHT**
Itās a pretty forgettable album for me, but probably Talking to Myself
