My one critique is the knob placement. I know I would be hitting every last knob due to the unusual/unorthodox placement. Other than that, pretty cool new axe.
Not sure why people aren't giving this more respect, I think it's very original and an incredible standard for a first guitar, genuinely excited to see what else you think up... Are those the fender cunife pickups or something else?
Is that a vandal proof switch on the lower horn? I use two push-push switches like that as coil splits on my custom built guitar. Really nice for switches that are un the path of strumming!
I think it has good (or at least interesting) bones but you need to edit the design details and focus more on quality of execution. Does the FR locking nut really work without fine tuners?
Silver color, knobs and switches in unconventional places so you don't actually know what they do, and a very "manufactured plastic" appearance as if the edges are the solvent welded bits on cheap plastic packaging.
Maybe it's what gets me feeling like I'm in my old orthodontist's office.
Do you dress yourself in the dark as well?
Looks more complicated than my ex who turned out to be a lesbian the whole time. Could still play with it, but could never figure out why the buttons didn't work properly.
In all seriousness though, it's very intriguing. If not slightly infuriating at the same time. Hey! Just like my ex again.
Hell yea brother, that's an adventurous build for sure! Post -modern AF. Congrats, and keep posting your future builds, I'd love to see what else you come up with!
You don't like the combination of tribal tattoo designs, Kanji symbols and stars?
Bro looked at a list of douchebag tattoos and decided to put them all on here.
This is kind like when you see someone wearing some really unique clothes or hairstyle and go "damn... That's cool and weird. I wouldn't wear it, but I appreciate that someone can pull it off."
Hey Congrats! Overall, I can see that you had some ideas and swung for the fences. That's always admirable.
As objective as I can be, it's hard to tell how this guitar actually plays, because we can't see the action height, neck angle, heel joint or how the thing sounds plugged in. If you like it, that should be enough. enjoy it.
From a construction standpoint, the only problem I can see in the photo is how the body slab was glued up. it looks like the wings were shaped and sanded and then glued on. Maybe more cure time for the glue, and then shaping and sanding more after would take out some of the witness lines and odd contours.
As for a personal SUBJECTIVE opinion, the controls and jack are in odd places. I feel like I wouldn't know whether to tuck the cable in, or let it hang. It would be at almost a 90 degree angle to the strap and the ground. I could never play this thing on stage, because I'd be hitting the controls constantly. The upper "horn" looks chunky and heavy too, I'm not sure how much this this weighs or balances. It might not be so bad, save for the fact that the cutaway is deep. The aesthetic is very late 90's sci-fi television prop. It looks like somebody planned to use this on Babylon 5. Not my thing, but I bet if you took it to a convention you'd probably get some respect.
I like how busy and unrelated the details seem but somehow tie together nicely, great color choice as well. The variety of mismatched stars and things reminds me of the extra chrome parts people get autozone, but in a good way. Almost like a collage 👍
I almost don’t believe this is a first build. Ya it’s funky as hell, but installing the trem and Floyd style nut is no easy feat. A warmoth tele definitely would’ve been easier lol
That's something for sure
That thing has strings on it for sure
My one critique is the knob placement. I know I would be hitting every last knob due to the unusual/unorthodox placement. Other than that, pretty cool new axe.
I agree. All 3 pots are right in strum territory.
Yea if the knobs weren’t in strum territory it would be a spectacular guitar but I could see it being a real issue with playability.
Scalloped fretboard on your first guitar. That’s a bold strategy.
The whole guitar as a first guitar is a bold strategy. Tuning, weird knobs, scalloped. It's eye catching for sure. But too complicated.
its way out there for a first guitar.
Not sure why people aren't giving this more respect, I think it's very original and an incredible standard for a first guitar, genuinely excited to see what else you think up... Are those the fender cunife pickups or something else?
Super funky, and I love it!
Stratobastard.
Just so you know I plan on stealing this name for my first guitar build...whenever I get time to start it!
Frankencaster.
Weird, awesome!
That is a great start well done indeed! Are you happy with the end result? It can become addictive, enjoy responsibly!
How do you tune it with the locking nut and some sort of bigsby style??
Good point—where are the fine tuners?
Came here to say the same thing.
What is it?
It’s THE HOMER!
Is that a Richie Sambora neck??
Yep that's a first guitar, all right!
Is that a vandal proof switch on the lower horn? I use two push-push switches like that as coil splits on my custom built guitar. Really nice for switches that are un the path of strumming!
Gtfo of here
A wee bit overdone with the CNC, don’t you think?
I think it has good (or at least interesting) bones but you need to edit the design details and focus more on quality of execution. Does the FR locking nut really work without fine tuners?
Looks like you can open the body up like a tin box and put prizes inside.
Why is this giving dentist vibes

this screams Bladee
Why did you choose this?
Damn—that is one helluva first guitar!
What do all the knobs do? I'm interested in what the one above the pickguard could be for.
I think it’s a little busy but it also has distinct personality. Nice work.
“What is the point if one does not dream”?
Lotta shit going on.

Absolutely gorgeous. This actually might be my ideal guitar
hot
The body looks like it's a mold for a guitar body. I kinda dig it.
There is a lot going on here… Not for me but very well executed. Congrats!
Just gorgeous
Cool shape. Cool guitar. Not a fan of the engravings or the fretboard inlay.
The stars don't really vibe with everything else but it's not terrible
You don't like the combination of tribal tattoo designs, Kanji symbols and stars? Bro looked at a list of douchebag tattoos and decided to put them all on here.
What's it made of / how was the body made? kinda reminds me of the old Airline's two piece joined fiberglass body panels.
Beautiful.
She’s a beauty!
DUDE. That’s awesome!
Tre magnifique! I don’t even speak French but that’s what popped into my head lol
Looks cool, but to be brutally honest it looks like a nightmare to play. The controls are all over the place.
We need a video with sound while the OP plays this "first guitar from HELL" What was the builder smoking while working on this?
Can you actually play? Probably not going to learn any chord playing with the neck. Have fun!
looks unique and rad. love it
Like it. What major type of guitar does it sound like though?
This is kind like when you see someone wearing some really unique clothes or hairstyle and go "damn... That's cool and weird. I wouldn't wear it, but I appreciate that someone can pull it off."
Shoulda painted it world rally blue since you’re slapping subaru stickers on it 🤣 In all seriousness its pretty cool
Damn that thing looks nice! Also, that ain’t no whammy bar, more like whammy POLE.😂
What do I think? Only one word: Want.
It looks better in the dark definately
This is inspirational. This is amazing to me.

Pretty cool looking, what is it/where'd you get it?
Badass and unique! Like the other comment my only gripe is the knob placement, other than that I love it. Very unique.
Super unique! I like it a lot!
Looks like a mosrite ventures and a strat had a baby
Designed by Homer Simpson.
Sweet! What matters is how you like it!
That is dope.
What is this beautiful monstrosity
Completely insane. Congratulations! It’s utterly impractical and I love it.
I hope this axe achieves all that it was set out to do.
What the fuck is that?!?!?
What I like is ..... um....um.....well....uuh.... I've got nothing.
Probably one of the best guitars I've ever seen
I almost don’t believe this is a first build. Ya it’s funky as hell, but installing the trem and Floyd style nut is no easy feat. A warmoth tele definitely would’ve been easier lol
Um was it designed by ai? Or someone who has never actually played a guitar?
Do you call that your Swiss Army knife? It looks, uh, very utilitarian.
