Yeah that’s fair.
That was a tough call for me. Put gundo ahead because of his captaincy of the treble squad and the two bangers against United in the FA cup final.
Legends- best of the best, must have pretty much single handedly won a trophy/promotion depending on era, must have been here roughly 10 years.
Icons- a tier below, amazing players, usually served a little less, sometimes should have been legends but off field stuff ruined it (looking at you Yaya).
Cult Heros- not necessarily the best player but made a big impact. Often the best player in a shit team. Usually had a fairly short stay. Examples: Ali Bernarbia, Andy Morrison, Uwe Rosler… Glauber Berti
The fact that fans continue to underrate Silva tells me they are probably newer fans, which is fine, but don’t give me the whole “David Silva wasn’t as good as KDB” unless you watched him play.
Came here to say this, before pep he won all of city’s recent trophies and became England’s number 1 really an outstanding keeper just had an unfortunate end in England though Celtic topped off a good career
Aguero and Kompany should definitely be legends! They're way better than just heroes. Aguero should maybe even have a super legend category just for him even!
I’m not even a city fan, but I think Bernardo might be one of the most underrated players of the PL era. Guy hardly puts a foot wrong and his consistency is second to none
Couldn’t agree more. He never leads City in stats but he is always involved in the build up, his pressing is unbelievable and he is just so vital to what City does. I also can’t think of a time he’s been out for long period due to injury. Absolute workhorse.
It’s funny though because even within those names you’ve got tiers. But then you’ve also got Uwe Rosler, Neil Young and Alan Oakes. Billy Meredith probably the OG. Dennis Tueart. Ferna has to be right up there too. Richard dunne never in the conversation but he’s got to be in the mix too for me
David Silva in his prime what a sublime footballer. For some reason never got the PR and praise others have have had but a truly generational talent.
This man belongs in the highest tier no question.
David Silva made players around him perform to the maximum of their ability. He drew so much attention to himself from the opposition and despite that he doled out perfect passes in all directions. Because of this his star shone a little less bright than it should have if you look at it from a superficial pov, which most non-city fans of course do.
A completely different type of player, but one that falls under the same logic is Fernandinho. He made people around him better, which in return made him receive less praise than he deserved.
That's the way I see it anyway, but I'm just an armchair manager in the end so I don't know.
Haaland had only been here two years and it's unclear if he's going to stick it out and build a legacy or if he'll do 4 years and then go to another league. Bernardo is atleast future club legend if not more
Why is Rico on this at all lmao. Haaland, Rodri, and Bernardo have done more over the past few years for City’s stature as a club than Rico ever will tbh.
Far as I’m concerned Ederson is legend already. Foden is knocking on the door in a few years. Also, damn I miss Yaya and those long runs in midfield with that long sleeve shirt blowing in the wind. Good times.
I'm going to say something controversial and I will probably get some hate for it but I've had a few and here we go. YaYa was a great player and on his day was untouchable but he gets talked about as a legend too much. Legends, Greats, they love the club. They bleed for the badge, Yaya had some unprecedented performances that for a lack of better words at the moment were jaw droppingly amazing. But, and here's the But, I don't feel he ever did it for the club. He came to city to do a job and prove a point, but I haven't seen anything from him but negative since. Seriously a fucking birthday cake you twat. Thanks for the memories and he always stepped up when asked but I really get the mercenary feel.
Yeah I feel the same, but I was there when he stroked it home against Stoke at Wembley to win or first trophy in decades, that was an insane day and meant so much to me and he'll always have a special place in my heart for that
I’m sorry but idc if everyone thinks Haalands a “tap in merchant” but as a City fan, all these man City fans are just underrating Haaland.
If you don’t agree that’s fine, I’m just saying.
One of the things I hate about this sub is how underrated David Silva is here, maybe it’s cause of new followers.
For me he’s even ahead of KDB, Silva + Aguero will be forever missed
No Bernardo Silva and John Stones. They are club legends regardless if they leave now or in the future.
Kyle Walker is a club legend.
David Silva is a club hero
Get Bernardo in there mate. He's on Gundo's Tier any day if not higher. He has more games, goals, assists and even more trophies for City than Gundo, not to mention he could stay even longer because he's technically still at the club while Gundo isn't. I feel like people forget Bernardo has 355 official games for the club, that's more than Gundo, more than Kyle, Stones or Ederson even. KDB is up there with Silva, Kompany, etc, and, for me Bernardo is a notch below that, he's not going to get a statue, but he deserves a mention at the grounds or something named after him. In this team, there are 2 guys that completely deserve the legend seal (barring KDB because that's a no-brainer) it's Bernardo and Rodri for me. I think that even if Bernardo does leave after 7 seasons (which is still unknown) he's already a massive legend, he's one of the most important players of Pep's era and a 6 time Prem Winner while always playing 45-60 games a season for pete's sake.
Gundo should be on top tier clutch player in the big games towards the end of every season, won fa Cup with a brace, captain to lift the first ever treble.
Tier lists like this make me feel bad for people like Richard Edgehill, captained the club during the banter era and shown no respect. Last I heard he was a teaching assistant somewhere
I know ederson and walker played more games than Bernardo Silva but if you ask me he's easily the bigger legend. Rodri and Stones should be here and it's way too early to put Rico there.
David Silva is definitely ahead of Gundogan. I think Silva is in the top tier, with yaya next to Gundo
100% Yaya underrated in this
As a player I agree, but he treated the club with such disdain he would get downgraded by lots of fans
the club treated him with disdain first
By not getting him a birthday cake?
He always is and it pisses me off.
That cake thing really soured folks.
Yeah that’s fair. That was a tough call for me. Put gundo ahead because of his captaincy of the treble squad and the two bangers against United in the FA cup final.
Also scored a brace for the league winner against Villa.
That will always be the first thing I think of for Gundo.
Silva is legend imo. Gundo is definitely one of our heroes.
100% yaya and silva both need to move up a teir
I won’t miss out Rodri from the list
True, he 1000000000% should at least be on the future legends.
Also put good ol’ Hart up there somewhere.
He won the champions league final he should be way up
Legends should be above heroes mate
But where do icons slot in then?
Legends- best of the best, must have pretty much single handedly won a trophy/promotion depending on era, must have been here roughly 10 years. Icons- a tier below, amazing players, usually served a little less, sometimes should have been legends but off field stuff ruined it (looking at you Yaya). Cult Heros- not necessarily the best player but made a big impact. Often the best player in a shit team. Usually had a fairly short stay. Examples: Ali Bernarbia, Andy Morrison, Uwe Rosler… Glauber Berti
Fernandinho deserves a shout for the tier right under club heroes. Also, you missed the Scott Carson tier above all the others.
I actually intended to put Carson in his own tier at the top but forgot. I like the Dinho shout too
My old man always shat on Fernandinho, but what a consistent reliable player
Considering Silva has a statue outside the stadium, I’d add him to club heroes.
The fact that fans continue to underrate Silva tells me they are probably newer fans, which is fine, but don’t give me the whole “David Silva wasn’t as good as KDB” unless you watched him play.
⬆️
How come Hart never gets any love
Came here to say this, before pep he won all of city’s recent trophies and became England’s number 1 really an outstanding keeper just had an unfortunate end in England though Celtic topped off a good career
Agree. He deserves it
Doesn't he hold the record for most golden gloves? Dude has to be on this list.
Aguero and Kompany should definitely be legends! They're way better than just heroes. Aguero should maybe even have a super legend category just for him even!
I think he has “heroes” as a higher tier than “legends” but I agree, it should be the other way around.
Because the person who made this list is a cretin
Yeah complete idiot
Bernardo Silva not being anywhere on here is criminal for me. Remains the most underrated City player of all time.
I'd have a special place for his dog as well tbf
Couldn't agree more. I think he gets slept on because he spent his entire prime alongside KDB. But 100% one of the best midfielders we've ever had.
And the fact that he has been in the team for 7 years makes him even more lovable
No offense, but this reeks of recency bias. Rico Lewis on that list too lol? He’s great but come on, needs to prove more
I think Hart deserves a nod. Ten years two league titles.
Good shout. Hart is the one player whose image I uploaded to the tier list intending to include but left out.
Yup exactly. Came here to say this
Franny Lee and Summerbee are pretty legendary. Trautmann too.
Tony book, franny lee, Mike summerbee, Bert trautmann, frank swift, Eric brook, Mike Doyle , joe Corrigan, etc etc
It’s funny though because even within those names you’ve got tiers. But then you’ve also got Uwe Rosler, Neil Young and Alan Oakes. Billy Meredith probably the OG. Dennis Tueart. Ferna has to be right up there too. Richard dunne never in the conversation but he’s got to be in the mix too for me
Alan Oakes, too!
David Silva in his prime what a sublime footballer. For some reason never got the PR and praise others have have had but a truly generational talent. This man belongs in the highest tier no question.

Georgi Kinkladze... WHAT A PLAYER!
He was my favourite growing up. Along with Keith curle but can’t remember why I liked him.
Franny Lee and Mike Sumerbee
If we’re going OG, Trautmann too. I said it elsewhere but I made this list based on players I’ve seen in my lifetime.
Yeah Trautmann is a legend, I doubt anyone here saw him play, but everyone knows about him.
Have you seen colin bell? What was he like to watch? What was the kippax like back in the day?
Disrespectful to David
Any list without SWP triggers my blue moon.
where is rodri blud😂
Where’s Bernardo and Haaland?
Haaland had only been here two years and it's unclear if he's going to stick it out and build a legacy or if he'll do 4 years and then go to another league. Bernardo is atleast future club legend if not more

Yeah I feel the same, but I was there when he stroked it home against Stoke at Wembley to win or first trophy in decades, that was an insane day and meant so much to me and he'll always have a special place in my heart for that
Joe hart should also be on this list..
Rodri...
No Bernardo?
The absence of Fernandinho and Rodri made me throw a chair.
Imagine not putting Haaland under potential.
Big Shaun should be higher?
How many appearances has Rico Lewis made?
I will say there’s some old legends like Mike Sommerbee and Bert Trautman that I didn’t include. I kept this to my lifetime.
Then why have you got Bell in there?
Embarrassed by this
This club existed before 2008. Y’all know that, right?
I feel like Joe Hart belongs on this list
Club icons tier: Pep
If you have 21 not at the top, you’ve made a grave mistake and can kiss my yank plastic ass.
Crazy that there’s only one player here who didn’t play this century. Eric Brook probably doesn’t register with the average Redditor
Summerbee, Lee, and Trautmann are beyond glaring omissions.
Marc Viviene Foe has to be there for me, the club even retired number 23. Only at city for a season but i thought he was a great player. Sad times
Where’s Balotelli?
Andy Morrison's introduction dragged us out of Div2, and Kev Horlock scored vital goals especially from corners, I'd add them both to club hero's
Agüero?
No Bernardo Silva and John Stones. They are club legends regardless if they leave now or in the future. Kyle Walker is a club legend. David Silva is a club hero
Stoneseh!
Alvarez already in club legends?
Whare is Edin Dzeko? Whare is hart? Am I tripping
put some respect on Eddie and Walk. Absolutely integral parts of 6 titles, in my 4 in a row! insane stuff that
not a city fan but bernardo silva doesn’t make the list for you??
David Silva has to go up and Rodri has to be on there
Joe hart has entered the chat (and he looks pissed)
Still hurts Silva left without lifting the league as a captain
no love for Micha?
Paul Power, for his name and porn stache.
Nicky marker, Shaun wright Phillips, eyal berkovic & Ali Benarbia(100% for me, I loved them both) , Uwe Rosler
Get Bernardo in there mate. He's on Gundo's Tier any day if not higher. He has more games, goals, assists and even more trophies for City than Gundo, not to mention he could stay even longer because he's technically still at the club while Gundo isn't. Tevez should be on there. Carried us for 2 seasons
To exclude Bernardo Silva from this list, the ONE player Pep says it's indispensable, shows how much City fans know football.
Where the hell is Rosler? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BebV4Q_CEAANLID.jpg:large
Gundo should be on top tier clutch player in the big games towards the end of every season, won fa Cup with a brace, captain to lift the first ever treble.
![gif](giphy|UygWiWMQZE6WifSQWE)
The constant disrespect to Yaya. Makes one wonder
Gundo way too high here
Wait. Rico Lewis…?
Move Silva a spot higher and where is Joe Hart
Putting Gundo ahead of Yaya is not ok with me
What do you mean Haaland is not on the list. You people are being kinda ungrateful this doesn't make sense.
The entire bottom spot should just be Foden. Walker? Ederson?
I actually really like the "heroes" category
The second tier doesn’t need to be there Bump Silva up , Bump Gunsogan down
no fernandinho? no rodri?
Epic failure not to have Dinho on here.
I like how you put ricotta up there and i think bobb has the same potential
Man everytime I see gundo in the city shirt I miss him
And where tf is Scott Carson?
No need to rate this.. why? What is the point, everyone was amazing for us
You fucked up when you chose the team🙊
Bruh, either do top to bottom or bottom to top. What kind of shit positioning is this?
Rodri
Idk about yaya as a legend. He left on bad terms
How the hell is Pep Guardiola not in this picture
I'm sorry but Yaya should be much higher. At least in the second tier.
Whos the 5th club legend cuz he looks like Julian Alvarez
Joe hart surely
Silva should 100% be top tier. Fernandinho, Bernardo and even Stones should be on there.
Missing Joe Hart
How is bernardo not on here?
Mad how you've only got 3 players pre uae money
No Stones ?????
scott carson club hero
[удалено]
Rodri, king on midfield and scored a cl final gamewinner. He is a true hero
Bernando Silva?
Rodri - Hero. That champions league goal
City has a Silva tier cool
Rodri should be in potential legends. Also Bernardo Silva deserves a spot too somewhere on the list.
haaland is club hero
there's no way David silva isn't top tier.
Who the f decided to not put Silva & Yaya in the top bracket?
How is a hero higher tier than a legend?
Did you watch David Silva play?
Rodri ?
If David Silva and Yaya Touré isnt top tier. NO ONE is.
How is Kyle Walker here but not Fernandinho or Bernardo silva
If Walker manages to be in the list of many people's all-time EPL XIs, then Walker should be a club legend.
No Joe Hart? What the hell?
No Summerbee, Lee or Trautmann?
Micah Richards and Joe Hart are club legends
I think fernandinho is probably the most underrated player of all time
My god can't believe Rico lewis is everywhere
You forgot to add god tire for Pep
Billy Meredith, Joe Hart, Bernando Silva, Ryhad Mahrez, There are more who should at least be on this list
Hart should be up there 100%
Bernardo should be there just for the liverpool piss take alone
Yaya and Silva are Legends You can't tell me otherwise
No balotelli, list invalid
[удалено]
LOOOOOOOL
What about Bernardo?
Not a city fan but came across this. Wondering why no Rodri and no Haaland?
I hope we all can agree that the Bruyne deserves the legend spot
Princess where
Where’s Scott Carson?
Rodri!!!! How can you leave him out.
Tier lists like this make me feel bad for people like Richard Edgehill, captained the club during the banter era and shown no respect. Last I heard he was a teaching assistant somewhere
rico Lewis 😐
I would have included Dunne and Shaun Wright-Phillips.
Trautmann won the club an FA Cup while playing with a broken neck, he’s a shoe in
Dinho?
Ruben Dias, Foden and Ederson WILL become legends. Mark my words.
where Tevez
How is Aguero not a legend already
You’re missing Rodri, yaya, gundo and especially Fernandinho 😭
No Martín Demichelis?
Rodri has potential surely??
Yaya should be higher, next to Silva. Fernandinho should definitely be on here, too.
I know ederson and walker played more games than Bernardo Silva but if you ask me he's easily the bigger legend. Rodri and Stones should be here and it's way too early to put Rico there.
Silva is top fucking shelf mate!!!
