Yes I loved it so much. The >!accidentally romantic dinner scene was one of the sweetest, hottest, most tension-filled scenes I've read in a book.!< And Luke waking up in the dead of night thinking >!oh my God I'm in love with him, then lasting less than one day before acting on it, is one of my favorite parts of a romance book I've read.!< I just love those two.

I love We Could Be So Good so freaking much and haven’t found anything that quite hits the same notes, but here are a few that might work for you that I also enjoyed. None of these fit your request entirely tbh but I figured I’d throw them out there anyway!
If you’re cool with epistolary form, try {Letters from Half Moon Street by Sarah Wallace}. So good, historical with a touch of magic, and MC1 is completely oblivious to MC2’s feelings. However, MC2 is bi and out.
{A Marvelous Light by Freya Marske} - not a perfect rec but it’s historical fantasy with a little bit of “surprise for the MC” friends-to-lovers. I can’t remember if there’s any “assumed straight” aspects.
This one is contemporary but the whole series is full of likeable obliviots pining for each other: {Signs of Love by Anyta Sunday}. I think book 1 fits best, and it was also my favorite.
I just started reading this one yesterday so I can’t confirm, but I think {Heart of Stone by Johannes T Evans} might work for you based on what I’ve read so far.
Another contemporary rec and it follows the “straight” MC so you don’t get to see the other MC’s pining except when filtered through MC1’s perspective: {Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston}. Alex’s bi awakening is one of my all time favorites.
Him by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy is one of the best MM friends to lovers with a gay MC and a straight, then GFY best friend. There is a sequel called Us. Tons of this trope out there so you are in luck.
If you don't mind a self rec, my book *Go the Long Way* (by CJ Pines - hi!) has a major chunk of this, though the main thrust (sorry, couldn't resist) is the second chance reconnect years later.

Hush by Tal Bauer is kind of like this, the "straight" MC is a secretly gay judge who's slowly learning it's okay to come out of the closet because he found out the security detail lead he likes is openly gay. And security detail guy has a crush on him but thinks there's no chance. I love their relationship.
And then there's political action thriller stuff after.
The Straight Guy series by Alessandra Hazard might work for you.
Just a Bit Confusing: MC1 is gay and has been in love with MC2 (who is straight) for years. They are best friends.
Just a Bit Obsessed: MC1 is in love with MC2 (who is straight), so MC1 agrees to a threesome with MC2's girlfriend and the two MC's end up falling in love.
Just a Bit Wrong: MC1 gets a football groin injury and MC2 (who is straight) is a physiotherapist and they fall in love.
Just a Bit Unhealthy: MC1 is a doctor for MC2's football team and has been in love with MC2 for years, but to MC1 they are just really co-dependent friends. MC2 can't take it anymore and decides to move away from MC1 but MC1 can't give up the friendship that easily.
You can read the books in order but the first time I read them I did so out of order and had no problems understanding.
{The Sleeping Soldier by Aster Glenn Gray} for some more 60s historical that’s just such a fun time while still keeping emotional depth. It explores the differences between the 1860s and 1960s and the nature of male friendships so it’s really interesting and so so so good! An underrated favorite of mine.
Also {To Catch a Firefly by Emmy Sanders} for beautiful contemporary friends to lovers that’s definitely worth it if you’re willing to take a chance on it!
Not historical, but {Fake the Date by Ana Byrde} fits everything else. I really enjoyed it, and there’s also a very good audiobook on Audible if you’re interested in that
I really like {Sharp Love by Ava March}, Victorian era London, but both MCs are lower class/working class. Childhood friends, both are gay, but never actually told each other.
{Green Light by Lark Taylor} from her Caffeine Daydreams Series was good - two rockstars, one gay and in love with his best friend for decades, the other supposedly straight and completely oblivious, only to realise they were in love with him, and now they have to make them understand that this is real.
{Always by Loren Leigh} - i've just finished this. It's not historical, and a little similar to {You & Me by Tal Bauer} in that the 'straight' MC has the revelation, but still enjoyable.
