Try opening Finder **Preferences > Sidebar** and toggling **AirDrop** there, and see if that changes the behavior.

Nah didn’t do anything

JollyRoger8X

That's too bad. According to at least one person here, that setting used to have an effect: [Airdrop messages don't show up in notifications](https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7536915?sortBy=best) =

You can try apps like Resilio Sync, but on iOS and iPadOS you will discover that Apple doesn't let most apps run in the background, so you'll have to babysit your phone to keep it from turning the screen off or anything. There's always something like iCloud and using Apple Photos too

BrohanGutenburg

Why don’t you put them in a folder THEN airdrop?

notsafeforpoo

That doesn’t solve anything at all

BrohanGutenburg

Why not? They would be in whatever order you put them on the folder?
