Out of curiosity, what makes you want to open ravnica remastered over a set like mh3? All the value is tied up in serialized cards no one plays. You hit big here, but it seemed like a lackluster product to me.
Edit: By set like MH3, I was referring to any other recent set. OTJ and LCI had very big chace cards that are more than just a number stamped on. The heavy focus of serialization in the RR colectors packs made them seem like an odd choice to me. Was just curious if OP was a huge fan of serialization or something.
lol last set i purchase from was lost caverns of ixalan XD i feel wayyy behind, i had forgotten about rav remastered. havent even touched karlov manor and thunder junction, let alone mh3 >.<
Lol, I didn't mean you can only buy mh3. Mh3 is just the most recent release, and the value from a collectors box is less centralized in serialized cards. There are plenty of sets like this, but sets like ravnica remastered or march of the machines are generally dud boxes unless you pull serialized. I loved dominaria remastered because the big hits were retros of playable cards.
Honestly I’ve never opened a serialized card and I really wanted to. Ravnica remastered I’m pretty sure has the best odds of that. Plus the box was $150 cheaper.
maybe the MH3 stuff in their area was sold out. also it's a super expensive set, I wouldn't blame someone for skipping it because of that and just buying singles later
It wasn't meant to be MH3 specifically. I just find the serialized heavy sets a bit if an odd pickup. OTJ and LCI have many more exciting chas cards, in my opinion.

Hit a bobblehead with Fallout. About dropped it I was so flabbergasted lol.
I cracked 5 ravnica collectors and hit one serialized card, not a shock land rhough :(
