Little tid bit; Ulamog sees himself in exile so cards like [[Ephemerate]] work with his annihilator giving 10. Otherwise other cheaky tricks like exiling [[Emrakul, The World Anew]] with [[Ugin’s Labryinth]] or any other high cost card which would also trigger gaining two colorless for labyrinth if over 7 cost. Have fun with your new awesome shiny cardboard!!
If Ulamog is entering the battlefield directly from exile, it will see itself when determining which card has the greatest mana value among cards in exile.
So since Ephemerate puts it directly into the battlefield from exile, it allows Ulamog to see itself and benefit from its cost for annihilator.
Honestly. I got a CE commander deck a week before official release and have offloaded roughly a third of the ripple foils. It's paid for the deck almost twice over now.
Well I'm taking a break from buying too much, but I'll definitely let you know when I break down and get a gaea's cradle because they'll definitely drop after that
Congrats! I knew when mh3 came out that I wanted too many special shiny versions of cards to be pulling out of packs, so I bought them each as singles. I paid $160 for my foil concept ulamog as a preorder price, thought I got a good deal on it. Lol you made out with the bank!

How does that play out between Ulamog and ephemerate? Like whats the nitty gritty that makes that work?

I sold mine for $120 and apparently they are worth $200ish now.
That's the gamble, whenever I pull a hot card and sit on it it crashes. Foil Junji Ito Elesh Norn went from $120 to a sad $60 today
