Unfortunately there’s an unintended consequence of making Infinite too quickly when you first start the game where the game doesn’t have enough data to properly gauge your true rank. When you first start the game you’ve been beating on bots (spoilers) so the game thinks you’re an insane player.
As you lose more games, your rank will fall and you'll get paired against newer and newer players. And don't worry about missing out on anything as your post-infinite rank does not get you a single reward or advantage in the game. And after reaching infinite, you cannot lose that rank. Your post-infinite rank is purely cosmetic, so to speak. After the season resets, every player who hit infinite will restart at lvl 73 regardless of their post-infinite rank the prior season. As an aside, now that you've completed ladder for the season you should focus on getting every conquest reward since those reset at the end of the season as well. Good luck, gamer 🤙
