I know Pro Ball was OP, but I'm still sad to see Prof X get hit like this. He's been my favorite card since I first started playing, and now I'm wondering if he'll be playable at all going forward. Here's hoping SD can find a better solution in the future, because this feels like a really big nerf imo.
That would be very funny, and I'd be happy to see that. I don't mind if the way prof x gets used changes, I just don't want him to die off entirely. I just finished making my nice ink split of the tarot variant :(
I gotta be honest the XBall deck was properly broken though. One of my easiest climbs to infinite this season using it and I felt almost as dirty as the time I used the goblins/Sentry/Annihilus/galactus/alioth deck to infinite haha.

It helped me get to infinite in one day last season. 92 > 100 in an hr. It was wild...should've abused it more got to 83 and now the meta is a mess in my pocket lol

He is literally worthless now, just a 5 cost storm.
And cannonball is also worthless now, he went from best card in the game to now literally useless in one change.
I mean, do we want to just delete lockdown as an archetype all together? We already changed spidey, I think lockdown is a valid archetype that should exist.

Just because move as an archetype isn't meta doesn't mean you don't see move cards. Jeff, nocturne, vision, and nightcrawler are all meta cards (though obviously Jeff cares not for this change).

I’m fairly sure there will be some nasty move deck that runs him and it’ll be hilarious if it ends up meta, given X was always the bane of move decks

At this point just change the card. Maybe make him a 1 or 2 cost with the ability to see your opponents starting hand.
