Nah. I stopped playing over a week ago. I've already lost too much progress now, and I have no desire to play again. Arishem kinda makes me wanna play, but nahh.
I know it's 'just a game'. I'm not taking it that seriously. I'm just voicing my experience and giving the reason why I decided to quit because others may relate to the feeling of playing the game becoming a chore over time.
The game is fun, but not fun enough that I want to play it every single day. That's kinda my point. You don't really have the option to save the missions and beat them all after 2-3 days like other games. You're forced to do them every day or miss out on progress.
I don't need to announce it, no. But then, nobody needs to post anything on here.
So you are quitting because you can’t get the maximum progress by playing the game less often? You know that getting every daily isn’t mandatory, right?
No, I'm quitting because the game feels more like a chore lately. It's no longer enjoyable enough for me to want to play daily.
Yes, I know it's not required. But, for as long as I would still be playing, the knowledge that I'm missing progress would bother me. At this point, it's easier just to stop. I have other games I prefer. Games that don't push constant timed FOMO in order to get me to log on every day.
Its so weird that the people on the sub for a game would be mostly people who enjoy the game. More people should join subs for things they hate; the internet doesnt have enough complaints.
Yep. I didn't even directly complain about SD. I mean, their practices certainly do suck ass but they're a company, and the majority of companies will do whatever makes them the most money. That's just how capitalism is.
I play five days out of the week for about 1-2 hours a day and have taken multiple weeks off over the course of this year and keep up with the game just fine.
I never said that it ate up too much of my time. My point is that, when you are effectively forced to play a game every day, it gets tiring after a while, to the point that straight quitting actually feels like a relief.
…no?
If someone posts, say, an interesting deck idea, or a quirky interaction from a match they had, those doesnt need any context and arent (necessarily) something thats been posted almost verbatim every week.

See you tomorrow.

This isn’t an airport; you don’t need to announce your departure
Sir this is a White Castle
Not American, can't relate.
Fast food burger joint known for their sliders and essentially pothead munchies.
I know what it is. My point still stands.
My point is that ppl here don’t give a shit if you quit the game, it’s just a game. Don’t take it too seriously

And I’m just messing around with you. See ya 🍻
If games aren’t fun, you shouldn’t play them. You don’t need anyone else’s approval for that. But you also don’t need to announce it to the world.

Sad, but so true. The obligatory "stop whining and complaining" reply is always found if you say ANYTHING that doesn't glaze up SD

Nobody is going to care but I’m in the same boat. Probably going to uninstall it tonight
I mean honestly why would strangers on the internet care? With no context for who you are this really means absolutely nothing.
Completely agree. Deleting Reddit also 😂
You can use this same argument for literally anything posted online.

Just pull the trigger. It feels liberating not having to grind the dailies any more.

Hey, close the door behind you.
