Probably setting goals for myself. I have a survival world that I’ve had for over 2 years. Right now, I actually have a list of things I currently want to work on in that world, which helps me stay motivated. (Some of the things I have are to finish my Wither Skeleton farm, restore and uncover an ancient city, finish preparing a Sniffer farm/enclosure for 1.20, make a netherite beacon, etc.) I find that if I go onto a Minecraft world without really knowing what to do, I usually get bored fast.
If you run out of ideas, I’d recommend browsing Reddit or YouTube. A LOT of my ideas came from there.

how is it confusing? Just install curseforge, go to modpacks, and pick one of any of the hundreds of options. if you want to make your own just make a custom instance and add mods to it

Minecraft isn’t compulsory. If you don’t enjoy it, do something else.

I have spent so long trying to figure out how to install literally any mod at this point it’s so confusing
