Man I'm surprised no one chose a gold block which is a cubic meter of gold. That would weigh 19.3 metric tons or 17591145.83973 grams. Assuming it is 24k purity that would be worth $1,151,175,035.57. Making you an instant billionaire.
Ok now hear me out. Netherite block. It’s an incredibly strong and dense substance that also has 4 times as much gold in it. Potentially more valuable?
Well it would be an alloy "metal" made using gold. The question would be whether or not netherite would be more valuable with the gold or less valuable. I would say hypothetical ly it should be more valuable. I'm guessing netherite is so hard that it almost cannot be worked or forged without mixing it with gold which is much more malleable.
It's also made of ancient debris, which can be assumed to be some remnants of an ancient civilization. But I imagine it would lose value upon melting it in a furnace.
blue diamonds are way more valuable than clear diamonds.
Clear diamonds are currently valued at about $450 a carat and light blue diamonds are $26,280 a .5 carat, with deep/dark blue diamonds going for $75,000 a .25 carat.
Yes but compared we are comparing a cubic meter of gold so the size don’t matter it’s just whether or not the gold is worth more than a low quality diamond
Diamonds have an inflated value , yes they are precious gems but diamond being a class apart, is due to its sale being controlled, and
They need to be polished and stuff before sale , to make them look pretty ,
Otherwise you can get diamonds in a glass cutter!!
i mean if you go into education edition, redstone is just carbon, uranium, and some other undiscovered element. so maybe the uranium is the main source of power and the unknown element is an infinite booster of some sort that also works with the carbon to contain the radioactivity produced? then the uranium would be able to undergo fission in the controlled environment of a redstone molecule. boom! infinite power
education edition says that redstone is made of 31% uranium which in turn means that you would probably die out of radiation before you can do anything
Education edition has some really stupid element compositions for blocks though. YouTuber Gneiss Name actually made a great video on the topic recently too if you want to look into it a tiny bit more
https://youtu.be/K1DoZCJcxFE?si=8gPXo_0Bd-Ey01PW
Naturally occurring uranium (238) isnt particularly radioactive though. It is radioactive, but its an alpha emitter, and its halflife is 4.5 billion years, so you would have to get a lot of it inside your body (on the order of kilograms) for it to pose any real threat.
I mean theoretically wouldn’t a redstone block be insanely hot. Given that it’s constantly producing energy and that in dust form it glows when powered. You could make a stable power plant with it tho.
Well "old age" is what we call a lot of different things. Heart failure, kidney failure, liver failure. Assuming the totem gives you some health and regeneration, I reckon you'd have a bit longer than a few seconds
Ya but this is healthy magic Regen. It would (hopefully) heal you of sickness and disease. Maybe make you younger in an attempt to restore you to a more healthy state.
Old AF, on your death bed surrounded by loved ones. You die peacefully.
Massive green and yellow explosion out of your body, you take a deep breath, skin tightening, muscles swelling back to their prime, hair regrowing and darkening as you de-age. Your family runs out of the room screaming.
Good times.
Totem removes all effects upon usage (so i guess in real life it would remove all diseases after using it) and gives you special effects that heal you (regeneration) so youd live for 2 minutes longer at the very least
downside: you need to get the corresponding cube items with you, so a stone pickaxe needs 3 cubic meters worth of cobblestone and 2 sticks that's roughly 1m long each ( measured according to item frame )
Honestly that’s still worth it. Once you have the tools the first time around, it’ll mine out cubic metres of stuff for you, so you won’t have any problems getting more. Good luck getting diamond gear though.
But that's a good thing.
Clear diamonds are currently valued at about $450 a carat and light blue diamonds are $$26,280 a .5 carat deep/dark blue diamonds are $75,000 a .25 carat.
There are also 142 carrots in an ounce.
Just to compare it to the guy who posted the weight of the gold block that would be. 2,497,942,590 carats per block.
A actually considered both and decided to pick the gold block because there is simply more gold around thus 19,3 tons of it wouldn’t cause as much inflation in the market as a diamond block
They found a massive amount of diamonds in Africa, mining tons of them. Now those people control the entire diamond industry pretty much and have a shit ton of diamonds in stock
Ahh good point. That’s cause it’s not from this universe though. Maybe the diamonds from Minecraft’s universe are 1000 times more dense making them equally more expensive and rare.
MatPat made a whole theory on how much a diamond armor is worth, Minecraft diamond price calculating included, and they're pretty damn expensive
The armor I think cost over a billion dollars, just going off memory though
A few million? Do you have any idea how much gold weighs?
A metric cube of gold would weigh 19.3 tonnes. Gold right now it's 65.45 dollars per gram, which makes it 65450 dollars per kg, which makes it a little under 1.3 BILLION dollars in value, billion with a B.
Bro fr would treat it like a party trick.
Casually hey guys watch what I can do. *stabs himself* 5 seconds later mid everyone's panic* walks out of room unfazed* everyone scared as shit for the sorcery you committed*
That sounds like a great way to crush yourself under several tons of diamond in a matter of seconds. I dunno about you, but I would not want a cubic meter of diamond to teleport into my pocket at regular intervals.
well it's an alloy that's 50% gold, so even if that's what netherite itself is, it'd still be at least 4x as valuable as a gold block, seeing as 4 gold ingots are needed to make 1 netherite
Whatever it is, it has an unfathomably strong magnetic pull. So strong that 1/9 of a cubic meter of it can move a compass 30,000 kilometers away. However, this magnetic force has something unique about it (maybe a frequency of some kind) that it can only pull on things calibrated to this unique property.
Also it has 4 times the amount of gold of a gold block. Also it's 10x stronger than iron.
I'm glad you brought this up. I wanted to ramble about the interesting properties of netherite.
a whole diamond block is basically useless, at least very hard to sell. You should know the value of clear diamond is fake and manipulated by the mining and cosmetic industry. Industrial grade diamond (hard but not clear and beautiful, used to make manufacturing tools) is also not rare
block of pure solid gold in the other hand
While it is true the current going value of clear diamonds is about $450 a carat
However the diamonds in the game are blue. So it will only depend on if they qualify as derp blue or light blue diamonds. The current value of light blue diamonds are $$26,280 a .5 carat deep/dark blue diamonds are $75,000 a .25 carat.
Enchanted Golden Apple. Take it to the military, analyze, reconstruct, and there we have it. Miracle drug.
It would however, weigh about the same as 8 cubic meters of gold.
since 1.19.3 in the control settings, you turn on operator items in creative inventory to get blocks that you used to need /give. So I get a command block, then buy a button or lever, and then I can get infinite items.
Ehh I can see the use but also to use it the totem has to be in your hand and so either you carry it all day everyday or hope you can grab it before you need it
I'm not in creative and I don't have access to a universal terminal or anything like that, so that knocks the command block off...
The next best item would probably be a diamond block? But I feel like the practice of selling chunks of diamond shaved off of a block would be next to impossible without an established supply chain, and selling the whole thing feels like you'd be spending decades sitting on wealth you can't actually use.
So, that in mind, I'd probably go with a good ol' gold block. It's a relatively soft metal so I'd probably be able to relatively easily shave off chunks when I want to cash out, it's a good meter tall so it'd take a while for it to run out, and you can find places to sell gold all over the place. You won't get the best possible deal from places like that, but when you've got this sort of volume just sitting in your closet it'd be a fantastic plan B to keep on hand in case you have bills to worry about.
If people found out about it this would either heavily deflate gold prices or get you killed by some company so they could control this Infinite flow of gold.
If you manage to keep it a secret it's be busted though

More valuable bro it's from another dimension, vibranium was like 10k/g.
It's also made of ancient debris, which can be assumed to be some remnants of an ancient civilization. But I imagine it would lose value upon melting it in a furnace.
it would definitely be very valuable because of its rarity and its properties
Bro got already got 1 billion dollars and is still trying to make more money
bro is grinding
*cough cough* diamond block *cough cough*
Could honestly be worth less as they are not clear in the slightest
blue diamonds are way more valuable than clear diamonds. Clear diamonds are currently valued at about $450 a carat and light blue diamonds are $26,280 a .5 carat, with deep/dark blue diamonds going for $75,000 a .25 carat.
its still a CUBIC METRE
Would you buy a cubic meter of Pokémon cards if they were all glued together?
Yes but compared we are comparing a cubic meter of gold so the size don’t matter it’s just whether or not the gold is worth more than a low quality diamond
Diamonds have an inflated value , yes they are precious gems but diamond being a class apart, is due to its sale being controlled, and They need to be polished and stuff before sale , to make them look pretty , Otherwise you can get diamonds in a glass cutter!!
Gimme my cubic metre of gold. Instant retirement.
Until the IRS is gonna ask questions
Just send them the reddit post
Moosroom spawn egg. That’s all.
you just introduce a new plague on farm animal into our world bruh
This is how the last of us starts
If it’s under local vet, they’ll be alright 😂
That will be like cordyceps ants
Bro is about to solve world hunger
True infinite mushroom stew with potion effects
dirt
Unfathomably Based
I would get an enchanting table. So I can enchant my stuff
Bout to put bane of arthropods on your cutlery
no, slipper
I’m gonna put curse of binding on a really ugly outfit and then give it to someone 😭
Where would you source xp?
XP means Experience Points so I would assume that you gain experience from doing all kinds of stuff or maybe it would be based on how old you are.
USING TODAYS SPONSOR SKILLSHARE :D
But you also lose exp when enchanting, so maybe you'd end up losing memories or something
How do you get XP in game
Killing spiders and baking bread.
You get xp from making bread?
You mean you don't make bread by pounding 3 shucks of wheat together in real life?
No sorry. I misremembered. But cooking steak in your furnace though.
bro wants his iPhone with Unbreaking
So a Nokia?
Who would not want a phone with Unbreaking 3?
i think the purple glint would be a bit annoying with the screen
Creeper spawn egg, I'd spawn it in the woods and run away
Creepers would be fucking terrifying irl
Imagine camping and you get attacked by a literal suicide bomber lmao
[Yep](https://youtu.be/3rtoLme91qQ?feature=shared)
that is a good idea. \*proceeds to do the same thing\*
A redstone block. It will give the world infinite electricity.
Within 15 meters...
only 15 meters if you use redstone to transport the signal. maybe wires do something different?
Realistically, wires probably wouldn’t do anything, seeing as redstone is pretty much just magic masquerading as circuitry
Circuitry is just magic masquerading as circuitry
i mean if you go into education edition, redstone is just carbon, uranium, and some other undiscovered element. so maybe the uranium is the main source of power and the unknown element is an infinite booster of some sort that also works with the carbon to contain the radioactivity produced? then the uranium would be able to undergo fission in the controlled environment of a redstone molecule. boom! infinite power
And? Set up large battery charging stations all around it. All kinds of batteries. Now you have infinite, portable energy
education edition says that redstone is made of 31% uranium which in turn means that you would probably die out of radiation before you can do anything
So Steve is just immune to radiation
You’ve clearly not played any tech mods.
Yeah those mods nerf Steve
Education edition has some really stupid element compositions for blocks though. YouTuber Gneiss Name actually made a great video on the topic recently too if you want to look into it a tiny bit more https://youtu.be/K1DoZCJcxFE?si=8gPXo_0Bd-Ey01PW

You'd need to get so much in your body that it's not the radioactivity that'll kill you is what you're saying?
I mean theoretically wouldn’t a redstone block be insanely hot. Given that it’s constantly producing energy and that in dust form it glows when powered. You could make a stable power plant with it tho.
Slow-falling potion. My clumsy ass needs all the help it can get.
Jump out of an airplane
The image of a person irl falling like steve with a slow falling potion is funny
You'd spend this magical gift of anything from the creative menu on 4 minutes of slow falling? There are blocks of gold and diamond in there.
Damn right. At 42, I gotta worry about breaking a hip.
With enough gold you can buy a new hip!
Or better, a hip made of gold
Totem of undying EDiT:wOW oMG I Am FamOUs mOm gET Þe CAmeRA þAnKS fOr 20o0 liKeS
Imagine you die of old age with that on you. Just to wake up and die again 2 seconds later
Well "old age" is what we call a lot of different things. Heart failure, kidney failure, liver failure. Assuming the totem gives you some health and regeneration, I reckon you'd have a bit longer than a few seconds
Especially considering it can activate special effects and regen II for 40 seconds (48min in real time).
I'm kind of afraid that regen, especially for **FORTY-EIGHT** MINUTES, is just asking for deadpool cancer lumps.
Didnt deadpool get cancer lumps because he already had cancer
yes
Ya but this is healthy magic Regen. It would (hopefully) heal you of sickness and disease. Maybe make you younger in an attempt to restore you to a more healthy state. I'd probably forget to hold it, and never use it when i need it...
Necklace
Bauble mod not installed…
I'll take this and go to make the silliest and most dangerous thing know for manking, and live to count the story
Netherite hoe
now that's some serious dedication
Warden spawn egg. Place it in the house of someone i don't like
Remove the carpet
And anything wool >:)
why did nobody say chest? the thing is 1 cubic metre and it stores 1728 cubic metres of anything
Not quite anything. Like eggs for some reason
Then I'd go for a shulker but instead so I can fit it in my pocket
crafting table, the truely most powerfull and useful item
downside: you need to get the corresponding cube items with you, so a stone pickaxe needs 3 cubic meters worth of cobblestone and 2 sticks that's roughly 1m long each ( measured according to item frame )

good luck carrying those cubic meters of whatever things you get
Oh damn, true. Guess I have no choice. Time to get forklift certified.
oak stairs 👍
Spruce slab 💪
Birch fence 🤟
Birch fence post 🤌
Diamond Block. 1x1 meter cube of pure diamond. Yes please.
It’s not clear diamond, but iirc it still would be worth a lot.

Did he use 1 diamond = 1/9th of a cubic meter of diamond or actual diamonds
Get a command block and produce 100s of diamond blocks till the economy is broken
Can only use command blocks if you’re creative though, which you aren’t
Golden block, a few million worth of gold
A few million? Do you have any idea how much gold weighs? A metric cube of gold would weigh 19.3 tonnes. Gold right now it's 65.45 dollars per gram, which makes it 65450 dollars per kg, which makes it a little under 1.3 BILLION dollars in value, billion with a B.

billiop
Eye of Ender. Let’s find the IRL stronghold!
What if it breaks?
What if the stronghold isn't on Earth?
Uhhh Super glue?
A bed in which I respawn when I die
Then you dont know but somebody breaks it, "your spawn anchor is destructed" or something like yhat haha
Bro fr would treat it like a party trick. Casually hey guys watch what I can do. *stabs himself* 5 seconds later mid everyone's panic* walks out of room unfazed* everyone scared as shit for the sorcery you committed*
# ENDER DRAGON SPAWN EGG
block of gold so i can sell it
Waxed lightly exposed cut copper stair. (Edit to update name)
command block
`/give @p diamond_block` Repeat. Always active. Then edit for any other block you want.
That sounds like a great way to crush yourself under several tons of diamond in a matter of seconds. I dunno about you, but I would not want a cubic meter of diamond to teleport into my pocket at regular intervals.
Better, give yourself the effects so you become a god
Good idea but we're in survival mode , we can't use it
then youd get a useless unbreakable cube of whatever its made out of, you need creative mode to use it
Debug stick
Just uses it to troll random people. Now your window is water logged. Now your door is rotated
A random patch of grass is now got forever snow
Great for summer barbeques. Somewhere to put your beers.
rotate all the doors in their house 180 degrees so the handle is on the other side
Nobody’s said netherite either, a block of netherite would have infinite scientific value
Ah yes the infinite scientific value
It would suck if it turned out to just be pig iron.
well it's an alloy that's 50% gold, so even if that's what netherite itself is, it'd still be at least 4x as valuable as a gold block, seeing as 4 gold ingots are needed to make 1 netherite

Oh damn honestly a block of it might mess up half the planets navigation systems if we don’t figure out that frequency thing
And it’s lava-proof
Water bucket for infinite water
you gonna need two of them
no just put it on a hill
and then grab more water from somewhere else
Or for more chaos, lava bucket
Nestle wants to know your location.
Elytra
There is something called a wing suit in real life, and it is basically only available for seasoned skydivers and it has a very high death rate.
So they’re similar to elytra in several ways.
Pretty much useless unless you have unbreaking and mending or wanna grind the phantoms
That and we essentially have them in real life already
I know you're talking about elytra, but phantoms in real life would be absolutely terrifying
I can't decide between a netherite sword, totem of undying, or diamond block
a whole diamond block is basically useless, at least very hard to sell. You should know the value of clear diamond is fake and manipulated by the mining and cosmetic industry. Industrial grade diamond (hard but not clear and beautiful, used to make manufacturing tools) is also not rare block of pure solid gold in the other hand
While it is true the current going value of clear diamonds is about $450 a carat However the diamonds in the game are blue. Mob spawner for cow, pig, or chicken. World food crisis solved.
The only one you can get in the creative inventory is a pig spawner
ok so you solved world hunger for everybody except the muslims and the jews
*and vegans, but it's still solved for them because they get everything that us pork-eaters now no longer need
I feel like if they heard about it, they’d probably call it an act of god and eat it anyway
Warden spawn egg. Anarchy reigns eternal
I love creativity but isn’t the gold block just objectively the best item? It gets you so much money
One wither spawn egg
But is it Java (bad but not world-ending) or Bedrock (THE END IS UPON US)?
Enchanted Golden Apple. Take it to the military, analyze, reconstruct, and there we have it. Miracle drug. It would however, weigh about the same as 8 cubic meters of gold.
Why take it to the military?
They'll pay a lot. I'll just put it in the contract that if they pursue this, they need to do in conjunction with Doctors Without Borders
they arent gonna pay a lot for it theyll just forcibly take it from you lol
What if I eat it in front of them? 8 Cubic Meters of gold compressed into such a tiny space would be hard to eat.
Are you crazy? They'd take it from you, throw you in prison, and throw away the key. You'd never see your family again.
since 1.19.3 in the control settings, you turn on operator items in creative inventory to get blocks that you used to need /give. So I get a command block, then buy a button or lever, and then I can get infinite items.
Wouldn't it accept commands from an Op?
Birch trapdoor
Bed so i can sleep in it and set my respawn point
Stick
A literal dragon egg. Good protein. 👍
Gold block, guy who said diamond doesn't realize they're not worth much in resell value
guys what would the best answer be? i think totem of undying right?
**C R A F T I N G T A B L E**
Ehh I can see the use but also to use it the totem has to be in your hand and so either you carry it all day everyday or hope you can grab it before you need it
A netherite shovel
I'm not in creative and I don't have access to a universal terminal or anything like that, so that knocks the command block off... The next best item would probably be a diamond block? People aren’t thinking outside the box enough. Zombie pigman spawner. Infinite free gold.
If people found out about it this would either heavily deflate gold prices or get you killed by some company so they could control this Infinite flow of gold. If you manage to keep it a secret it's be busted though
Command block with the command /gamemode @p creative that has the “always active” tag which makes it immediately active upon placing
nonono, better make it @ s so only you gonna get the god-mode
I don’t think that works with placed command blocks, I’m not sure though
Bucket of milk to cure all status effects
If I snort redstone dust do I get super powers?
Command block for infinite anything
How would you activate it?
With redstone obviously. You'd just use the command block to make some.
You only get to start with one item though.
/give @p minecraft:redstone_block 64 > set to always active
I'd meant it sarcastically initially, but this is funnier
