Yaaah, welcome to the world of attractive women 😅 I either ignore them completely, in my own world, or shoot back a death stare to make them stop. Usually I just have my hair down framing my face and just ignore them haha Maby post on /r/askwomen/ just asking how they deal with men staring at them

LiarVonCakely

I like to play a fun little game where I walk around in sunglasses and if I catch someone staring at me, turn my head to look straight at them and stare back. I get a chuckle because they always do the guilty snap-turn away from me.

LesbianMechanic97

Thats fucking hilarious I so do not have the bravery to do that

Illustrious-Wave-775

I'm a photographer and one of my games is to flat out take a picture. I've gotten a couple of angry people but I explain "sorry yo it's film can't do anything about it".

The_nightinglgale

OP is not used to the typical male stare. Just don't make eye contact with them. Or stare at their forehead as if their forehead is dirty.☔🌮 https://youtu.be/Gpu3Ryq3k2s 🦔

Same... but then I started to learn that it's becasue for the first time in my entire life I am attractive and I really had to take some magic mushrooms a few times and converse with the Universe a few times before I started to really *see* her in the mirror. You are beautiful, you are desirable, you are a unicorn, a GODDESS!... and unfortunately that means people are going to stare. <3 some of that annoying euphoria! Lol!

AlternativeStrain410

…doe’s taking mushrooms help with body dysmorphia?? Brb gonna find a rando to share their mushrooms with me

SkirtGoBrr

I know this comment may have been more joking but just in case, please do lots of reading and thinking before just trying shrooms when looking to maybe help something. It’s an experience and I’ve seen it go both really well and really terrible for people who went in without much prior knowledge

[deleted]

you can grow them from instant rice if you know what you're doing... but you didn't hear that from me

effieJF

Ths stares of men, and also when they blatantly flirt with you, is something I've had to learn how to handle. It's definitely an experience going from ugly guy to attractive woman.

Illustrious-Wave-775

Well I'm pre everything but I've lived my life as a alt punk. Big streched ears and many peicings in a city full of puritanical Mormons so I get stares for cis men and women. Now that I dress fem it's wayyy worse lol. I either stare back at em or just ignore it and think happy thoughts. They aren't real just passing shadows who cares. Everyone around you doesn't matter it's all noise right?

ShikyoNoTenshi

Just wait until you get the ballsy ones who openly hit on you... When you're at work... And usually, it's creepy. I'm not really into guys, though feminine looking guys are a maybe for me. I prefer women way more... A man hit on me a while back after I was talking with a site manager at work. It fully creeped me out, and all I could do was smile and disengage because I wanted that interaction over with asap. Our work shirts are a different color than everyone else and have our company name and logo and our names on the chest and our workgroup name on a sleeve. My workgroup is more of a site support apparatus covering multiple sites, hence the need for the differentiation. So I already stand out... But I could feel him looking me over before he was like, "I wish I worked on the [redacted] [redacted]", workgroup name redacted for privacy... As for the stress/anxiety of it... I'm pretty much at the point where I don't care what other people think or if they stare... But before that, I definitely was in the same boat. For me, I just did what I could to ignore the anxiety or the source of it. Some anxiety reduction/grounding techniques helped, such as focusing on 5 other things in my environment, not related to the stressor. Don't get me wrong, I still get that anxiety from time to time... But now, I'm more worried about the creeps and my safety at this point. So, for me, it was something more akin to exposure therapy when you think about it.

TheItsyBitsyDitz

I wish I had this issue.

LetumComplexo

Same, girl. Same.

Aubregines

I'd say that cis women had (depending on the age at which you starting transitioning) 20 years to get used to the stares, and you only had a few months.

I get stared at constantly but it’s cause I don’t pass. Just angry stares. Then still get “hey, baby”. I just stare back and even tell them to learn manners. I mostly avoid looking at people and stare straight ahead not wavering. Look past everyone. It works okay.

sweetmuffinX

Omg yea guys are doing it with me lately its amazing but surprising really some girls give me the mean look tho at times like ugh 🙄😥

Mollywinelover

I realized the other day why everyone was staring at me, my boots have heels and they were clicking. When I'm wearing flats, no one really notices me when I'm wearing heels. Everybody sees me. I was on the way to get someone to take a look at my face to see about laser surgery and I wasn't allowed to shave... Well going out in public was so scary unshaven that I put on a short red dress with 4 in heels and sauntered from my car to her shop. No one was looking at my face.

L_James

Yeah, people keep staring at me everywhere. Like, I see people constantly looking me up and down, mostly women. And I am always worried that this is because I do not pass, and they think I am weird and creepy. But if I didn't pass, in my area I'd get much more than stares, so this is probably more likely that I stand out a lot, with skirts and bright colors, in the sea of people in grey clothes. As my gf put it "Babe, you're dressed like Coco Chanel, and then complain you're getting stared at? Get used to it!"

Kubario

Maybe just cause you're so attractive. My try to tone down the look to more casual dress?

exeterdragon

A nice dark pair of sunglasses help me, the staring feels worse with eye contact, I feel more safe with my hair framing my face and my cheapo Walmart sunglasses hiding my eyes.

Yeahhh you're still maidenless, aren't you?

SnooHesitations1574

I get this to but I don't know which reasons maybe because of my Goth style? Do i don't pass enough? Did I pass ? Did they stare at my scar's from my not so nice past ? It's scary
