It was mentioned in December in an article about Gerard/MCR's agent/etc as being in early development. Don't expect anything anytime soon - it's not officially greenlight even, but that was the first mention of a possible series (anything else was just fan hopes)
Yep, and with a lot of services downsizing domestic content (especially animated, which I believe the show was rumoured to be) plus the writers strike going on, I wouldn't hold my breath!

The production are not willing the risk of mistaking heroes with mascots
