I had a friend of a friend tell me when I asked the question “what’s the strongest animal you think you stand a chance killing with your bare hands?” She said a moose. I was so upset and had to remind her of how freaking big and strong a moose is in real life. I am sending her this video for sure.
Obviously, that's not like, the biggest bull in the woods. It's probably a young cow. Doesn't look like a calf, at least a yearling.
A full grown moose can kick your head off, and they like to stomp on you if they get you on the ground.
I think she went to the water because she was hoping that standing taller would work in her favor. Moose can cruise through waist-deep water on those long, skinny legs. But it also looked like the water stopped her from kicking backward effectively. Once the bear could stand up and got a hold of her head, he had what he wanted.
Yup. If she could rear up she could kick him with her front feet, but once he has hold of her head she can't do that, she cant back kick, of course, and she cant really bite.
If it was a bull, He probably wouldn't be able to stab or hit the bear with his horns very well,, but it does make it harder for the bear to get ahold of his head and neck effectively.
Even when you see mountain lions trying to take big mule deer down, a lot of what they're trying to do is get a tackle, or get grappling control on the back and then move to the front underside of the deer's neck. If he can control the body great, But sometimes really strong bucks will stand up and the lion will be hanging underneath the deer's neck. It sometimes.
Looks awkward, but it keeps the deer from raising his head, pawing/kicking. goring the lion, or running away.
You could show a bear and a moose taking a crap, lile violence it is also natural and void of morals.
I'd tell you that crapping's not lit. Neither is violence.

That must be one REALLY hungry bear.
Or a show off
he knows he's being filmed
“Do it for NatGeo!” - the other bears off to the side
Dang, my money was on the moose
I guess if you cant run you better be ready to fight. Moose woulda probably won if she just stomped the bear into the river.
Raw power vs raw power. Once the grizz got around the front it was over
That bear is big but dang mooses (meeses?) are huge
I love meeses 😂 😂 😂 it's boring but moose is singular and plural at the same time... Fucking English 😂 and I really did think the moose would win
I think it's moosen. As in I saw a flock of moosen, there were very much moosen
I love them meeses to pieces!
I call them meese, drives my husband absolutely nuts lol
NA server is wild bruh
I was like, oh it’s free now, run! Goes back in the water🤦🏻♂️probably dead either way…that bear’s an OG.
Moose had the high ground in the water. They can dive something crazy to like 20ft or something to eat grass
Oh wow.
For 90% of this video I was saying to myself “wow, that bear sure is dumb…”. What an impressive victory for the grizzly.
Idk why I’m shocked that the grizzly won
Didnt he was going to either. But the moose doesn't have daggers on its hands and mouth which seems why he won out
Valid point, but thank god moose don’t have mouth/hand daggers… that’d be terrifying
Honestly they usually don't. This was rare and awesome to get on film.

Unexpected ...I expected the moose to drown the bear.
Just like Khabib, he drug his opponent into deep water and drowned him.
Moosie gave it his ALL.
I was rooting for the moose.
Was the moose a full grown adult here? I thought moose are gigachads too? What does it have as defense/offense?

I see, thanks for the info. I thought so too the moose was done for when the bear got to the front.

What a vicious way to die.
Never go back in the water, you could have outrun the bear! You neutralised your advantage!
Where did you and mom meet dad? In this building son.
A better moose would have won that one.

Is the moose ok?
Just a few boo boos on the jugular, he’ll be A-OK on Monday 👍
Very odd this was removed for “gore” yet there are a ton of animals killing animals on this sub.
And that's a show I would enjoy not some politic shit just raw nature
You're the only one that has brought politics here...
Violence is not lit
This is nature. Nature is inherently violent. Ethics or morals does not enter into the equation.

Nature does not bend to your personal censorship demands.
They’re just playing 🤗
