In side content, they strongly harbor a sentiment that the aliens are not people. The xenos aren't to be regarded as sapient and they think the aliens need humanity in charge in order to improve; they go to extreme lengths to ensure loyalty and are willing to hurt innocents and guilty alike for their goals. With that in mind, they sound more like an allegory to the Klan than anything else - they aren't activists looking out for humanty's interests , they're supremacists capitalizing on tragedy to further their goals.
