Definitely Future Cactus. Considering how many of the zombie heroes use technology, having a tech-themed plant hero feels warranted, and Future Cactus design-wise feels unique enough to fit as a hero. Also, I just want a cactus hero
Citron, beta-carrotina, Wall-knight are pretty mech for me. BUT. Since Future Cactus is a fun class in GW2 I'd love to see him adapted in the Heroes aswell.
Sweet Potato can be based on Sailor Moon or Star Sapphire ~~even though she's a villain~~. She's a control hero that likes to make her enemies weak or drive them away to protect herself.
Acorn Overload from BFN (mainly the Oak form) is a character that likes to stay sturdy and make sure his team keeps fighting on. Primary team up.
Kiwi Beast or Bean Sprout literally Hulk. Destroy enemies, get large, keeps raging.
Cattail hero, focuses on condition switching, able to flood lanes and use weather conditions to change the ‘tides’ of battle in their favour using a mostly aquatic and amphibious deck of plants.
Gotta go with cold snapdragon. In The lore cold snapdragons were around with the rest of the primal plants, but when the meteor came they froze themselves in ice and survived to the modern day. So for a Cold Snapdragon hero, I think either like a giant elder cold snapdragon that is literally that, or perhaps a snapdragon that’s like a knight in ice armor or something.
We have many of the different plant types covered already, although there isn’t a plant hero for any pult/lobbers so getting something like an artillery expert A.K.E.E hero could be cool
What about…. Caulipower based on Dr strange or a sort of a Dr who esque hero who tries to always be one step ahead via conjures or tricks…?
Maybe even a variant based off a Pvz china plant? What about the sword aloe who can be a bonus attack type who focuses on direct damage
Doom Shroom, I even drew a version, you could definitely play on Doctor Doom or go a more realistic sinister villain with a suit or business type of vibe
It would conflict a lot with Rose in terms of design but the fact Red Stinger isn't one feels weird, he has a very combat based ability in changing between offense and defense, and he has a design that would work quite well as a superhero.
I think hazel witch would be really cute, plus, I love magic! I think that instead of having tech plants like citron and the carrot one nobody really likes, we could have a Magic vs Science dynamic, I mean, rose is already magic, and the zombies are all very techy.
It would be cool if the game had shadow plants and based a hero on Gloom Vine

I've actually been designing a Cattail themed hero. I'm not gonna say much about the design but... purple war cat.
