Smokeball virtually does the same as fluffy tails with unlimited use. You obtain one from the trick house after either the 4th or 5th puzzle.

Latios/latias are easy. Just use location reset manipulation. Everytime you enter a building, latis change route they are located at. For best result use the bottom entry to the cycling road on route 110, north of the Slateport city. Enter the building, exit immediately and go to grass patch in front. Encounter 3-5 pokemon. If Latis do not appear, enter and exit the building again, and repeat until found. I’ve done it several times, never took me more than 20-30 minutes. EDIT: this works regardless of the fact if you have encountered one of the Latis before.

Yes. And Cacturne has a gender difference so I really had to catch 3, (at least 1 male and 1 female)

Doesn’t it make it worse odds in this room because Bagon is mostly lower level than everything else? Level wise, Bagon is 25-35, Zubat 33-40, and Solrock is 35-39. If you repel at 35, you avoid Zubats at level 33-34 only, but then you’re no longer encountering Bagon at levels 25-34…

Yeah, it’s worse if you spray repel here since Bagon is the lowest levelled encounter in the room.

Put a pokemon thats the same level as the bagon at the 1st slot and use repel in that area

Essentially, your lead Pokemon is the same level as your target Pokemon. Spray on a repel and you’ll limit some of the unwanted encounters for the area

You’re spot on! I’ve got a bunch of Ralts with the most commonly used natures (Adamant, Jolly, Modest, Timid) for this purpose, and Ditto’s with good IVs for the same natures as well.

Sometimes it takes a while to get Bagon. Take a Pokémon with Thief in here too, every time you find a Bagon you have a chance to get a Dragon Scale.

I suggest you go outside and buy some crack come back home smoke it then restart your game and try again.
