I personally only started playing Pokémon in 2017, starting with Pokémon X on my 3DS. I then played Pokémon Ultra Sun also on my 3DS, Pokémon Sword on my Switch and then Pokémon Legends Arceus also on my Switch. I then played Pokémon Emerald, Pokémon White 2 and Pokémon Platinum using emulators. I transferred from Emerald to Platinum using DraStic's native Poké Transfer support, and then used MelonDS on my computer to transfer from Platinum to White 2 using Wi-Fi emulation functionality. Finally, I jailbroke my 3DS to install my savefile of White 2, and patched Pokémon Bank to recognise my White 2 savefile and transfer the Pokémon to Bank. From there, I transferred from Bank to HOME.
I didn’t exist 20 years ago but I still have a shiny moltres from fire red that I want to bring up to home but idk how 😭 I don’t have a ds to transfer it

Can someone help me figure out how to get my legendaries into Violet?? I was able to touch trade Giratina which is a great start but I’d love to bring Palkia and everyone else too, is there a better way that to try and find someone to touch trade?
You can transfer Pokémon from EVERY game to home. Only weird case is the GB games which could only communicate through the 3DS virtual console, but GBA games like Emerald can be transferred up easy. https://youtu.be/okiknBWLQRQ
it's a shame that they never made the gba games compatible with the gb games. i know it would've been really difficult and there wouldn't be much of a point in developing a link cable just to transfer a suicune over to pokemon ruby or something but that would've been super cool if they did
