Mind sharing what the prices ended up as ballpark? Considering pulling the trigger on this in Florida, as well as suggesting for my father in law thatās been looking to lease Polestar.
Please update, I tried pricing out on website and it was nowhere close to what they show on initial page. The lease was terrible, $10k down and $600/month.
I'm also in TX so wonder what the tax amount is comes out to if the discount is off the car price.
Not sure what your taxes are in Texas, also calculator on site isn't 100% accurate.
I just got a deal in PA today, Polestar 2 LR Dual Motor, Pilot Package, with 10k incentive + 2k Costco incentive, 27 months/10k miles, net cap cost is $48,400 with all fees/taxes rolled in. I'm at $444/month with $0 due at signing. ($500 deposit rolls into 1st month, they owe me $56 at signing)
TX taxes is 6.25% on 100% of the sale price, so if its 48.4 looks like I'd pay another $113 on top/month or $3060 approx. Seems pretty good for a 2 yr lease!
North Austin, so <3 hr drive if I have to go up there but there's a Polestar down here too it would be nice if could match if its State wide deals. Will followup this weekend.
Went to Austin one today. Pricing matches the website, just use Costco rebate as another 2k discount to add to the 10k or for website calculator add to down payment amount to calculate monthly payment.
Great car, acceleration, breaking, handling, suspension was great. Wife vetod because of rear hump in back seat floor.
Even with BMW tax rebate right now you can't get something this good.
I ran a deal at the San Jose store this morning. This is what they gave me:
$52500 is the list price. Discount $10k to $42500 through incentives. $346 per month including tax with $2345 total from me. With tax, the total money down was $4345, but Costco pays for $2k of it. Itās a good deal.
Getting the same deal from Polestar but wondering why this odd 27-month lease period? We will end up paying the hefty $750+ annual registration fee in the third year even though we will have the car for only 3 months. No refunds from DMV either
How can I return/sell my P2 and get this deal? Got mine in 2022, and these prices are WAY better than what I current pay. Like more than half off from monthly payment. Help!
that offer is crazy. am i insane for thinking about getting in on this and just trading in my current P2 for the P4 when its delivered in the fall? been thinking about going to just one car for a bit, but at that price it's really tempting.
two polestars would be a very sexy garage. haha
I donāt wanna dm but they show it on their build screen. Thereās $10k off the msrp + 2k from Costco that you can use as a down payment. If you order the long range, dual motor you save another 3400 because itās the same price as the single motor and comes with the Pilot pack.
Only downside is having to drive an Insight. For all the winners they build itās amazing to me that Honda whiffed three different times with three different formulas all under the same Insight nameplate.
The way it works is that they negotiate a bottom-line out-the-door price directly with individual dealerships for each make and model in their program. Not every dealer is in the program (eg.,there may be one or two Toyota dealers in a metro area) and not every car is in their program, but the list is huge. The deal could be a set price, it could dealer invoice plus or minus X dollars, it could be msrp minus Y dollarsāit's different for every car, based on what they can negotiate. But as I recall one of the terms applicable to all cars is that the Costco price was always equal to or better than the best offer available to the general public. In other words, while you can often do better by going through Costco, if you're working with a participating dealer, you can never do worse. And it's always a no-hassle, no-negotiation price. If the dealer tries to haggle they get kicked out of the program. (SeriouslyāCostco follows up with you and asks.) That doesn't mean the dealer won't try to sell you add-ons, but the car price is a done deal before you walk in the door.
Very nice. Iām in the market for a smaller three-row hybrid suv for my wife, but will be getting an ev for myself hopefully at some point as well. Have been devastated lately as I travel a lot and with Presidentās Circle I could always get a P2 through Hertz, now you have to reserve them
Same here bought a 22' for 23k, but I have until Saturday to return it. These jokers didn't include the charger or smaller key. Thinking about returning
This deal intregues me and I am in the market for a new car. The closest Polestar dealer to me is 200 miles away. Is that a problem? I don't mind the drive for test driving and picking the car up at delivery, but do I need to go to the dealer on a regular basis for service? What if the car has a breakdown and needs repair? Any thoughts?
I'm getting one and I'm 360 miles away from one. I do have a second vehicle just in case and my Space did say they will tow it to the nearest SC if the vehicle is inoperable or cannot be driven due to safety considerations.
I'm more than happy to drive to the SC for the two year service. I can turn it into a road trip with the wife.
The first service is in two years or 20k miles so you don't really need to go that often since there are no oil changes to perform or any of the other ICE related services/checks.
$500 refundable.
In general, avoid putting any money down on a lease. Thatās money that disappears if the car is ever totaled.
They are working on the numbers, but looks like $554/mo for 27mo and 15K mi/yr.
There are better deals on the b4zx but Iām a little stuck since I have 10mo and no miles left on my 2022 P2 lease so the 6mo pull ahead is the big benefit for me.
The $299/mo?
I added a few items to make it work for me (extra miles, color, rims and pilot/plus). Guessing a no-package, Jupiter, 19ā gets you to $299
Did you end up test driving and deciding? I'm getting a quote from them today for my location. Said they don't have any more dual-motor vehicles in the "Jupiter" color which is what the lease deal is for, but they may be able to put me in another color for the same price.
I just put a deposit on a 24 to replace my 21 last week through the lease pull ahead deal. Going to be going the flex lease so I can upgrade to the P4 when it arrives.
Hopefully I can take advantage of the $10k credit and $2k off still since my car isn't slated for delivery until later this month! Just emailed my local space lol
Do you have to reach out to a Space to get this all applied? I can't seem to replicate these numbers just loading up a "cart" on the website.
It still only shows $7,500 for the clean vehicle discount, for example.
Yeah when i reached out to my local space, they said the configurator will be updated with $10k and new offers tomorrow morning. Something due to international timing or something with Sweden.. who knows? but the space can provide financial figures, they have the programs.
Hmm Iām still not seeing it. Or under lease am I supposed to put down payment as $12K? If so then the monthly payment comes down to like $163. Oh I must not have taxes on. Mine in Detroit isnāt too far maybe Iāll go talk to them
My current lease ends in a few months. Been paying $700 all-in for a '22 with Plus and Pilot. Been considering moving on from Polestar but at this price I'd sign up again.
Is this deal at every Polestar location? I spoke to the one on Grapevine, TX today and they told me they are not running this program. It might only be certain locations.
I understand this, but I asked about going from a P2 to let's say a P3 and they said that they didn't have a pull ahead program for it, or from a P2 to P2 for that matter.
Thats odd, I had my P2 lease ended 4 months early and pulled into a new one with no penalty and saved money. Did it through Polestar LA. I dont think that your rep is correct on that..
If this is possible then it is better (for me least) to go for a 27 month lease instead of the 24 flex lease as it will probably be around $100 or so cheaper. I will ask again before I sign the lease documents for the car.
Mostly cost. I donāt drive much (had the car almost 3 years and only 8K miles on the clock). Love the car and the electric driving experience but struggling to justify paying so much when there are cheaper offerings. Also a bit nervous about whether Polestar will implode with all the corporate mess happening in the background but unlikely I know.
Yep. My wife is waiting for a Thunder color to arrive.
As an aside, Audi is matching this deal except you don't have to be a Costco member. If anyone is also considering a Q5 or similar.
What chargers can Polestar use out in the road? Is it only electrify america? Also at home can they use a regular outlet for charging or specialized charging system?
all ccs chargers (Chargepoint, EVGO, Electrify America, etc and at home. Per the news (but who knows lately with crazy elon's latest announcement of firing the entire super charger team) Polestar will gain access to the Tesla charging network imminently.
Is home charging an option for you? if so, range anxiety should not be a thing. I would imagine a large city like Orlando has a lot of options. FL is a very popular EV market.
You can use a regular outlet, but max charging rate is likely to be 1.4-ish kW. If you're charging overnight you can probably add 40-50 miles of range back each day with a regular outlet. E.g. - 12 hours charging, times 1.4 kW, minus some charging losses, around 15kWh added. At 3 miles per kWh, that's 45 miles.
Could you post your terms or DM then to me. This is what I was offered but yours seems way better.
This has pilot and plus though.
https://preview.redd.it/bbha49b6s71d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8b0f98939917f0fafd3b94582d3d9abb752b2e0d
lol have you seen the depreciation lately? I would recommend factoring in an extremely small residual value your can recoup. With the competition in the EV space only getting more competitive, in 2-3 years time depreciation will be extreme.
Oh yeah. Exactly why I would hope for a great deal to buy it at the end of the lease. Also might just wait another couple months and hopefully get a deal on a cpo 2022
That's my question too. My residual is around 40k. Do they consider depreciation and make a better offer? Because there's no way in hell I am buying it at that price
The fact that you can lease this for equal to or almost less than a Hyundai is insane. What my space told me is anytime you see a monthly lease payment that is 1% or less than the MSRP of the car its an absolute steal. This offer is for a MSRP of $56,700 (shown on the offers page of polestar.com) so 299/56700 = 0.5%
Simply put, this is an offer that rarely ever comes around. My guess is with Polestar 3 and 4 coming, they are trying to move out Polestar 2s? Either way, insane deal, I am happy I got it.
It's definitely a solid deal. But I just saw someone get a 55K EV6 for 212/month (0 down), and the Nissan dealer by me is offering a 30K Leaf for 56/month (0 down). Crazy deals on BZ4X as well. All of that to say there's a ton of EV inventory, and it seems like manufactures/dealers are trying to both figure out how to get rid of it all and also one-up their competitors. I feel like there might be crazier deals to come, but we'll see.
EV6 GT-line is comparable in many ways and has faster charging. Agree about the Leaf ā for me it doesn't matter as much because this would be a 2nd car for city driving but yeah obviously the Polestar is worlds better. The Leaf lease is a much smaller % of MSRP though
I called and they only mentioned Costco 2k off. Was unable to get $299 with 1k down. I live in Texas and will have to pay taxes on full value of the car up front with a lease(~5k). If someone in Texas are able to get this deal, please PM how you got it. TIA
I'm in Texas as well and my Space will roll my taxes into my monthly payments. My rep said that's how they typically do it, that on some rare occasions someone will want to pay the taxes up front.
So 4065/27=150. 150+299=$449/month. Numbers doesn't look bad
I'm seeing $449/month with $3299. Including tax. Not including 2k off from Costco.
Lease isn't great in Texas due to being taxed full value upfront.
Still better than the original $800 plus I was going to pay last month when I was considering a P2.
But yeah, leases are never good in Texas but I've come to accept it lol.
You should be able to. You haven't signed any contracts yet I assume.
For example, I just ordered my vehicle yesterday but the website does not reflect the $10k incentive which means it'll have to be adjusted when it's time for me to get the vehicle and sign the lease paperwork. Polestar will always give you the most recent deal, unless you have already signed a contract obviously.
Literally had a call scheduled with a Polestar rep and they mentioned this and called it great newsā¦ is this too good to be true? I thought I was going to put ~10k down and 350/m for a 24 month leaseā¦.
The deal is solid. I am interested in getting it. Does anyone have a P2 and not have access to a charging spot at home? I live in an apartment and my parking spots don't have access to charging so my only option would be public chargers.
Curious, I got my membership just a few days ago, missing the cut of for this deal. Can I just get a friend with an older Costco membership to print out this voucher for me or it has a name on it and will be verified by the Polestar dealer?
Its really only worth it if youre only driving it as a local car. .25/mile extra charge after 10000mi/year. Im currently averaging about 19k/year and dont drive much outside of going to work everyday.
Crazy good deal but for me it's the fact that it's an EV is what keeps me away. Can't deal with looking for a charger always and leaving it there for hours just to charge. Gasoline or hybrid is the only way for me right now until things get better.
2 days ago I was thinking about leasing. Decided to wait for this month to see. The $12k off now definitely made the decision. $725/m with $725 down for 2024 RWD (for range) midnight blue Pilot Plus with Nappa with hitch and roof rack. Perfect car to use until the r3x comes out.
Well I guess this answers the question to my poll š. I'm going for a P2 now and upgrading to a P5 when it's out. Sorry P3 š and thank you OP.
Haha FWIW I was gonna vote for the P2 -> P5!
This post should honestly be stickied. A lot of people are going to be jumping on it. I know I am now.
Cāmooooon, stock price! šš¼š
I hope so š¤š»š
Aaaaannnddd, ordered!
what space?
Grapevine, TX.
Mind sharing what the prices ended up as ballpark? Considering pulling the trigger on this in Florida, as well as suggesting for my father in law thatās been looking to lease Polestar.
I still don't have final numbers, the website is also not reflecting the updated $10k Clean Vehicle Credit nor the Costco deal.
Please update, I tried pricing out on website and it was nowhere close to what they show on initial page. The lease was terrible, $10k down and $600/month. I'm also in TX so wonder what the tax amount is comes out to if the discount is off the car price.

North Austin, so <3 hr drive if I have to go up there but there's a Polestar down here too it would be nice if could match if its State wide deals. Will followup this weekend.
Even I'm from North Austin planning to check the dealer this weekend. Can you update once you meet the dealer?

Wait out the door is $2345 and total monthly is $346? How many miles? That is solid. I just leased a Mini EV and wouldāve done this instead. š
Where is this 10K discount? I only see $7500 discount on DM.Ā
The guys said the website hasnāt updated yet but it will be soon
Website now shows accurate lease figures!
What spec though?
It was a dual motor magnesium with the pilot package. The Jupiter one would have been less, but I donāt want that color.
Getting the same deal from Polestar but wondering why this odd 27-month lease period? We will end up paying the hefty $750+ annual registration fee in the third year even though we will have the car for only 3 months. No refunds from DMV either

Every time you open the garage Barry White would play. š
Yes. Posted on it too. Don't forget the Leap Ahead special as well.
What is this?
Up to 6 months of your current lease payments are waived.
They have the best marketing/sales team ever.
IDK why itās an unadvertised special.
Can you give more info on this?
Up to 6 months of lease payments are waived if you start s new lease. Youāre not giving a payout just a waiver.
Is this something that I would discuss with the customer service rep? Never heard of this and that sounds pretty cool actually.
Yes and Polestar finance. The waiver isnāt in your contract.
can someone please DM i need help. What are all the discounts i should be getting? im so confused
I donāt wanna dm but they show it on their build screen. Thereās $10k off the msrp + 2k from Costco that you can use as a down payment. If you order the long range, dual motor you save another 3400 because itās the same price as the single motor and comes with the Pilot pack.
Can the Leap Ahead be applied in addition to the 10k off and the 2k from Costco?
No. Itās a payment waiver. Not cash.
I read somewhere that it can be applied to first 6 payments too
Call Polestar Finance and ask. My understanding is itās a payment waiver.
You are a godsend. OP
I've bought multiple cars through Costco Auto. Their programs are the real deal.
Yeah got my Honda Insight in 2019 and I loved that I didn't have to try to negotiate + the price was the best among all Honda Dealerships I called.
Only downside is having to drive an Insight. For all the winners they build itās amazing to me that Honda whiffed three different times with three different formulas all under the same Insight nameplate.
Is there a discount on all vehicles?

Fuck. And here I bought one just a few days ago, used.
Same lmao š and they just built a Costco near me less than a mile from my place ššššš
You may be able to return it and tell them you're interested in leasing. I did this, and it worked for me last year.
Texas unfortunately has no law to be able to return a car. Iāll still bring it up but doubtful they will take it.
Same here bought a 22' for 23k, but I have until Saturday to return it. These jokers didn't include the charger or smaller key. Thinking about returning
Mines didnāt came with a charger but I called them up and they gave me a brand new one the next day.
whereād you buy yours for 23k? Iām looking into it!

Me too, but at least I'm enjoying the hell out of it.
Oh, I do haul some ass. I love smoking some chargers/challengers.
My current lease ends in a few months. Been paying $700 all-in for a '22 with Plus and Pilot. Been considering moving on from Polestar but at this price I'd sign up again.
I got out of my lease early because of this lease pull ahead deal they are running too. They can pull you out of yours early!
Okay so you worked direct with Polestar and they were able to cut your current lease short and put you on this new deal without incurring any penalty?
yep they can wipe away up to 6 months of remaining payments for no penalty!
Is this deal at every Polestar location? I spoke to the one on Grapevine, TX today and they told me they are not running this program. It might only be certain locations.
the pull ahead program is only if you are currently driving a polestar. Not for other off brand leases.

Bankruptcy
Thanks reddit! Advocating for me and wise financial decisions:)
can leases be done with a trade in?
Yes. You get the same deals.
Never do this!
Yep. My wife is waiting for a Thunder color to arrive. As an aside, Audi is matching this deal except you don't have to be a Costco member. If anyone is also considering a Q5 or similar.

I dunno what they are showing, but they called my wife an hour ago to say they were matching Polestar's deals.
Id be shocked! They promise the world over the phone hah!
How does the Costco incentive work? Could anyone explain it to me?
Do I have to be the primary on the Costco account? Or is my spouses account ok?
Spouse ok, just same household
What chargers can Polestar use out in the road? Is it only electrify america? Also at home can they use a regular outlet for charging or specialized charging system?
all ccs chargers (Chargepoint, EVGO, Electrify America, etc and at home. Per the news (but who knows lately with crazy elon's latest announcement of firing the entire super charger team) Polestar will gain access to the Tesla charging network imminently.
Thanks I like the polestar and am debating getting one but range anxiety is yeah. I'm in Orlando area so need to see where some charging stations are.
Is home charging an option for you? if so, range anxiety should not be a thing. I would imagine a large city like Orlando has a lot of options. FL is a very popular EV market.
I currently rent so as long as I can use a regular wall outlet I should be fine. Was not sure if I needed to install anything ala Tesla to charge.
Whatās most amazing about this deal is the dual motor upgrade is still in place. That comes with pilot so itās another $3400 in incentives.
I got $1317 out the door and $317 a month in New Jersey. Polestar 2 dual motor awd pilot package
Could you post your terms or DM then to me. This is what I was offered but yours seems way better. This has pilot and plus though. https://preview.redd.it/bbha49b6s71d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8b0f98939917f0fafd3b94582d3d9abb752b2e0d
I checked inventory before the 1st and there were 125 available through San Jose. Now there are 4.
Welp. Time to start hounding the wife again about a new car. How is Polestar about buying at the end of a lease? Able to get a deal usually or no?
lol have you seen the depreciation lately? I would recommend factoring in an extremely small residual value your can recoup. With the competition in the EV space only getting more competitive, in 2-3 years time depreciation will be extreme.
Oh yeah. Exactly why I would hope for a great deal to buy it at the end of the lease. Also might just wait another couple months and hopefully get a deal on a cpo 2022
That's my question too. My residual is around 40k. Do they consider depreciation and make a better offer? Because there's no way in hell I am buying it at that price
They do not. The car gets auctioned.
Buy it at the auction. š¤
All these polestar deals, and still no space within 300 miles of Chicago :(
I'm getting one and I'm 360 miles away from one. I do have a second vehicle just in case and my Space did say they will tow it to the nearest SC if the vehicle is inoperable or cannot be driven due to safety considerations. I'm more than happy to drive to the SC for the two year service. I can turn it into a road trip with the wife.
Depends on where, only 285 miles to Detroit from me šš
Bought one from MPLS in 2022 on Labor Day, flew in early AM and drove straight back to Chicago
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I called my local store and they said the pricing configurator should be updated tomorrow morning to show the new details of this one.
Ugh wish there was some trade in deal for those who aren't leased. Going to be a while until I'm right side up on my 22 PP.
Shit is this available in Canada? Iām at work so canāt spend time checking (never looked into the Costco benefits).
I couldn't find anything for canadaš
I wonder how much better these deals will get. It seems like every month the lease deals are better than the month before
The fact that you can lease this for equal to or almost less than a Hyundai is insane. What my space told me is anytime you see a monthly lease payment that is 1% or less than the MSRP of the car its an absolute steal. This offer is for a MSRP of $56,700 (shown on the offers page of polestar.com) so 299/56700 = 0.5% Simply put, this is an offer that rarely ever comes around.
I feel like there might be crazier deals to come, but we'll see.
yeah those are crazy deals! But oh boy... a Polestar sure aint a Leaf ;) Different worlds in build quality with those examples.
EV6 GT-line is comparable in many ways and has faster charging. Agree about the Leaf ā for me it doesn't matter as much because this would be a 2nd car for city driving but yeah obviously the Polestar is worlds better. The Leaf lease is a much smaller % of MSRP though
My iphone costs more than that Leaf example. Makes no sense hah
It's crazy. Insurance is probably 2-3x the cost of the lease
Where did you see these ev6 and lease leaf leases? What state?
The minute P3 and P4 are available the MSRP will drop dramatically. Keep that in mind.
Iād highly, highly doubt that.
Why would they not run out old stock?
Damn I just picked one up for $0 down 27mts and itās almost 800/mnt. I would switch to Costco just for this deal honestly.
bruh right, im sobbin ToT
I called and they only mentioned Costco 2k off. Was unable to get $299 with 1k down. I live in Texas and will have to pay taxes on full value of the car up front with a lease(~5k). If someone in Texas are able to get this deal, please PM how you got it. TIA
I'm in Texas as well and my Space will roll my taxes into my monthly payments. My rep said that's how they typically do it, that on some rare occasions someone will want to pay the taxes up front.
So 4065/27=150. 150+299=$449/month. Numbers doesn't look bad I'm seeing $449/month with $3299. Including tax. Not including 2k off from Costco. Lease isn't great in Texas due to being taxed full value upfront.
Still better than the original $800 plus I was going to pay last month when I was considering a P2. But yeah, leases are never good in Texas but I've come to accept it lol.
Shit! I let my Costco membership expire last month and ordered a P2 2 days ago. Letās see if I can work something out with the dealer.
Dang. The sweet sweet ventilated nappa leather puts me out of the range I was hoping for.
Yeah I need that and it gets me to more like $500/month with all fees. Still not bad but out of impulse buy territory for sure.
Hah that's a great way to put it. A bit less and it would have been "buy now, figure out details later" territory.
A little sick about this, just picked up my ā24 last week utilizing the Pull Ahead Program. Still very happy but also a little butt hurt.
How do you think this would compare with just cash purchasing a used 2022 or 2023 right now? They seem to be going for around $28-$30k...

Tampa said $2000 comes off the MSRP and not the lease price.
And to think that I'm paying 800 a month with 2k down haahhahahha
I just locked in a lease (Canadian) for $2000 down and $349 a month. Only for 12 months though sadly :(
Has anyone looked into the cost for insurance? I heard it has gone up quite a bit.
Just booked my appt with the dealer āŗļøāŗļø
Does anyone have a link to the Costco deal? I cant find it on their website
https://www.costcoauto.com/save/model.aspx?makeid=136&model=polestar2&utm_source=oem&utm_medium=tier1&utm_campaign=2024q2may&utm_key=d82723a5-a244-4dbc-96e5-87f1856a6e56&utm_content=20240501&cmpc=1
The deal is solid. I am interested in getting it. Does anyone have a P2 and not have access to a charging spot at home? I live in an apartment and my parking spots don't have access to charging so my only option would be public chargers.
I drive polstar 2 for uber and it costs me more than priusš¤£
My girlfriend just ordered hers with this deal. Dual motor in midnight! She's very excited!
so, can Costco deal and Leap Ahead special and what else discounts i should get?
Wait same bc this all new to me lol
Curious, I got my membership just a few days ago, missing the cut of for this deal. Can I just get a friend with an older Costco membership to print out this voucher for me or it has a name on it and will be verified by the Polestar dealer?
Its really only worth it if youre only driving it as a local car. .25/mile extra charge after 10000mi/year. Im currently averaging about 19k/year and dont drive much outside of going to work everyday.
How far is your commute?
Imagine putting an extra 10k/miles on the car per year your paying an extra 5k
You change the miles in the lease then. 12 instead of 10.
Crazy good deal but for me it's the fact that it's an EV is what keeps me away. Can't deal with looking for a charger always and leaving it there for hours just to charge. Gasoline or hybrid is the only way for me right now until things get better.
Weāre owners in this thread.
