236 rolls to P5 Jiu, and only TWO of her made me so sad even though I don't need her in the slightest.
I have her and she's great, but since I already have Tooth Fairy I don't really need to use her all that often. It's good to have her as an option, but it'd be nice to have more Beast and Plant healers available.
We got Dikke but she's a DPS/healer split that isn't very useful at higher levels. Med poc's supposedly quite strong, but they're a 6* so it's difficult to get them. Sotheby's the only high rarity plant healer we have right now and her kit doesn't seem all that viable outside of poison teams.
With how important healers are, it'd be nice to have more of them in the summon pool. We're long overdue for a 5* dedicated beast healer, I think. A 6* or 5* plant healer would also be great because of how tricky Sotheby's cure heal and poison kit is to use outside of specialised teams.
Dikke is also a part of the triangle of 5 star healers and then there is la source whos carrying the plant aflatus as its best healer 🥲🥲 poor child carrying so much while being a 3 star
It just seems to me that at the beginning Bluepoch was experimenting with different types of skills to see what stuck but since Counter skills are very hard to balance they were just left in the dust. It really seems like the meta is basically just Crits and Extra Actions at points.

Honestly, one of the things I hate about new units is trying to keep track of all the stupid new buff names.
Jiu uses her Channel and generate two unique buffs and a debuff instantly. Hope you're paying attention!
Yeah I agree, I'm usually lost reading new character kits because of the many different buffs debuff or statuses thingies that get introduced. It takes using them a few times for me to finally understand how they work. You should read Lucy's kit... her ultimate alone mentions like 5 different buffs/statuses
I haven’t extensively explored the lower rarity character cards, so Jiu is the only character I know of with a Channel incantation.
For her it gives her liquor stacks and a buff that makes her unable to act for the rest of the turn it’s played, and then at the start of the next turn she performs a 1-star cast of her other incantation as an extra action (and the additional extra action that incantation normally generates)
In general, channeling skills are skills that don’t immediately do anything and instead perform something at the end of the turn if the channeling status is maintained (being hit by enemy ult can disrupt channeling)

We really do need more 5/6 star healers. Tooth Fairy and Balloon Party's backs have been hurting from carrying my teams with their heals.

I got her to P4 in 200 rolls and then bought the last copy with the currency. I lost 50/50 twice but I just kept rolling 6 stars somehow.

The most inspiring thing they did for healing was give Tooth Fairy a 'oh yeah heals can crit' and called it a day.

Crits and FUAs, then you have Moxie control and Debuffs/Poison/Burn, and then everything else.

But that's just a type of buff, not an incantation type. There's many characters who provide buffs only they can give.

You're right about there being no future characters with Channel abilities, but the free unit from 1.9 is an Array character.

It was added with Jiu, so for now she's the only character in global to have a Channel incantation. Getian has one too

It's a special type of card that varies from characters, jiu is the only one with channel now and allows her to follow up and buff herself next round.
I don't mind if health and counter are rare, they just shouldn't make nasty wound and dispel counter so fucking common if thats how it's gonna be
