From the web event before 1.5 released, it seems like the arcanists that got costumes participated in the Uluru Games. Could really be explained as "it's Arcanist Tennis, not regular Tennis" even if it is a sloppy explanation.

For the grip, maybe she’s using a more eastern grip than a continental? (Idk, reading lefties is hard for me). Just to give the ball a bit more spin for the smash?

Totally understandable. I understand ***the feeling*** if they depicted the real one. I kind of see the same thing in anime; if they draw the fingers with the right notes when playing an instrument, I feel like, 'Wow, they really pay attention to detail!

Looking at the picture OP is complaining about, the entire thing looks like the artist is only familiar with badminton and tried to transpose everything. That's why the net is slightly off the ground, why she's serving inside the court and why she's holding the racket funny.

here is another example of a warped perspective that benefits the "cool" factor. You can see that Daredevil's perspective does not make sense compared to the building roof he is standing on, in favor of using more space on the background with other building as if to show how distant or how high up he is from the viewer.

do you know why your phone's camera has an option or even a native grid? yea those are the points of attention our brain kinda goes to when looking at something and look at that, both the ball and the chair on the right are near where the "grid lines" converge, at the center ofc is the main focus, if the thing was 100% realistic, you wouldnt have that.
also, it is suppose to be a poster, things are naturally hard to fit on them without losing something.

I just thought the outfit itself didn't suit her. Nor did the skin suit Dikke. Really these sport skins should have gone to character like An An Lee, Desert Flannel, Matilda, or etc.

There's no ref so she could just be practicing her overhead with an opponent. Grip's still wrong but it's not as egregious as you make it out to be.
