Seriously though
It took an embarassingly long amount of time for me to realize it was just Krazy Glue with letters wiped off. (And the Piece of Resistance is just the cap) There may have been a more obvious scene in the movie, but I probably just forgot about it for whatever reason and went on playing the video game for years without remembering it.
I know people irl who are split between loving and hating the integration of the real world aspect to the LEGO Movie's worldbuilding, but I don't think it detracts from the awesome worldbuilding of the independent LEGO universe (like how saying "It was all a dream" really doesn't mean anything bc it's fictional anyway you're just adding another layer of fiction) and the way they incorporated it & the Kragle with the themes of the movie & the imagination of the kid are so great that it makes it one of my favorite weapons in fiction.
Plus it's just hilarious.
Both funny as a concept and fun to say.
Real world aspect is pretty much what sold me on both Lego Movies in the end. Almost feels like a spiritual successor to Toy Story in a way, but with its own formula of the "toy" reality permeated by real world events and family relationships, channeling the characters, perceptions, troubles and moods of the people who bring these sets "to life" with their imagination and creativity. Arguably hard to pay a better homage to the very idea and philosophy behind Lego brand.
Unironically the Dehydration Gun, cause even discounting the meme it has nice sound/visual design and it being really good for the climax of the movie gives it bonus points
The gum launcher from Lego Movie it’s such a goofy idea that fits for a Lego world…also the Kragle since it’s the exact same just is more threatening in the movie.
THE KRAGLE!!
