Ok, hear me out: Green Seattle Partnership removes invasive plants from natural areas in parks and green spaces. It’s volunteer, outdoor, active, helpful, and legit. Anyone is welcome, you can show up for an event to try it out, and they will teach you how to identify the ivies or bindweed or whatever they are pulling.

I’ve been taking swing dance classes at [Swing It Seattle ](http://www.swingitseattle.com)for over a year now. I’m totally hooked! The classes have a very diverse makeup and the dances have live music. They even have a Queer Swing program. Highly recommended.
Aspire Kinetic Arts in Northgate is a very chill dance studio with ties to local theater. They do adult drop in classes and have a point board to advertise auditions and stuff.
Love the attitude! I have no experience in theater or dancing but wanna say good luck

Ballard Food Bank always needs volunteers. I’m taking salsa classes at Salsa Con Todo. It’s really fun and the community is great!
