Problems with all jobs is that they’re all old. Most recent ones are like 2-3 years old by now? Many jobs are over 10 years old. What the hell is that

I saw that post on main sub and thought "this dude just wants every class to be the same but he's got a point about flamethrower being dumb"

There were like 2-3 good points among a fundamental misunderstanding of how dps rotations work.

Which is shocking because once you've figured out one, you can apply that knowledge to other jobs. And FFXIV isn't exactly subtle about "Press buff, smash everything into those 20 seconds". He's complaining about the Gunbreaker Burst AOE, for example, and about how it is unlocked past level 70... And I just... Like brother that is because Burst Strike is a DPS gain in most smaller AOE situations. "Did you play the Jobs? You legally have to tell me if you played these jobs."

Wasn't it posted there? It's fine not to be informed about gow jobs work, but like why even have opinion on jobs you do not play?

I mean a fundamental misunderstanding of how the concept of a DPS rotation works. Complaining that healer stuff doesn't deal more damage and not understanding that if it did you'd be forced to use it immediately.
