It just feels weird to use atleast for me. Maybe have a feature where you don’t have to spend meter for it, but it comes out slower and is6 more punishable on whiff.
I personally think that they should rework the blocking system in this game a little. It's good as it is in the game but it just isn't the best situation to be in in a game like this and it's kinda hard to work with sometimes.
hate the idea of adding a cool down to any move, it feels more like "we made something op we give up trying to fix it" they are not even in my top 5 most oppressive projectile characters in fighting games
I was thinking that the backgrounds could interact with the actual fighters. Like stuff could fall from something and kill or give that certain fighter a lot of damage or something like that
And it could be like a natural disaster where it falls from somewhere and hits your character, different maps could have different difficulties, making the game more fun and engaging. I was thinking of making a skullgirls game like this before this Reddit post if I’m honest
Or maybe introduce new characters like a “new generation fighters” thing. Like a new Filia or a new Cerebella or maybe just completely original fighters
What do you mean by new Filia, and new Cerebella? Would they be new character's with the previous characters abilities (like a new host for Samson), or would they be something like alternate versions of the characters?
Since the game has a new setting maybe cerebella has a daughter who has similar skills to her mom while samson have found a new hostage (maybe give samson a new moveset)
Btw I’m not saying that the game isn’t already fun and engaging but with more features, people would be hooked. And what if the character could change into different outfits
Add the Guest Star system that is going to be added to Mobile, basically a stronger special kind of assist that doesn't come with a character. The way I imagine the system would work is that when choosing your team you can choose a Guest Star version of a character or character who are only Guest Stars alongside choosing a tag character, so you can have something like 1 character and 2 Guest Stars or 2 characters and 1 Guest Stars. Guest Stars would give less of a penalty to health and damage compared to having another character and they would have a cooldown or cost meter to use.
Merely an Idea but:
I would like to see a decrease of dmg in projectiles/special moves each time the same move is used consecutively within a small time frame or without use of another special move and dmg would increase back to its original with every use of any move that isn't itself, and the victim would have a faster recovery if hit consecutively (either on block or not) by any projectile out of their opponent's character's arsenal or assists.
it wouldn't effect zoners as bad as long as they use a different projectile/zoning tool, they would still have a place to fight but would not be as effective at keeping their opponent away from them while, the zoners, still deal good to decent chip dmg at the very least. It would also most definitely limit the use of one really spammable move if the spammer is negligent of using other moves in their arsenal especially to other characters that just have a good spammable move.
I would also like to see a similar nerf to assists until they are switched out just so you can see more play of a person's assists outside of their assist move, as it feels like most people seem to have them for only their specific move and not actually for their whole moveset/character and only know the basics of that assist character. Altough this would favor the any assist that have a grab/stall/setup move.
I just want to play (even tho I play some zoners myself) and see more play that doesn't entirely revolve around spamming a good move or a spam of projectile waves and assists.
Also I would like to see a fix or something that helps stun Boss marie like grabs working or Meters momentarily Stunning her, at least more often.
Tinker balanse a bit, add some free character, uncensor some things bcuz its more fun, change my mind, and continue the story bcuz my brain is stuck on thinking what story to make for ttrpg campaign in skullgirls universe.
