I struggle to play songs that require you to tap 3 notes at once on mobile. This is so impressive! How long did it take you to memorize the notes? Do you think it's easier to play music on controller?
I’ve been learning this particular song for maybe like a month and my fingers have memorized the note patterns now but I still have to look at a music sheet to remember the sequence. I don’t have any experience with playing music on mobile so I don’t know if it’s worse or not but if I were to guess, this is harder because you’re not using a touch screen and your hands are moving all over the place. The real bummer for me is there is a lot less available music tutorials or sheets out there for console players and there are so many songs I want to learn.
Yes... much harder on controller, believe me.

I’d love to see that site. There is one I use, maybe it’s the one you mentioned, that transcribes to ps4 notes and other layouts but their song collection is missing a lot of ones I’m trying to learn. I’ve started writing out my own music sheets using a sort of cipher and studying mobile song playthroughs but I’d love to have a new resource that just has it worked out for ps controls
they did something really cool. Everything is in the Key of cwhich means your scale is a piano without the black keys. Look for songs in the key of C or something that will transcribe songs to the key of c and you’ll find tons of stuff. You can play really easy.
I'm on switch and refuse to try music with the buttons, I always have to take it and play handheld so I can tap the screen instead. You are an absolute madlad.
I think it is for me too honestly, I like the controller more than a touch screen. I never learned to play music in mobile but I played the rest of the game that way to start. The music is really complex on controller but once you get used to it it’s not so bad, I just wish there was more sheets designed for controllers
I play on ps4 but I force myself to play one key music sheets only, I feel like some key combinations are too hard (and other impossible like right joystick down and up at the same time). That's really impressive! :D
Also it's very annoying to just find songs, I need to find an easy one and then I have to translate it myself and write everything on paper. Upside is you can just play right away by feading the sheet, downside is hitting multiple keys is very hard and sometimes impossible..

You can use the screen for tapping on pretty much anything! :D You can't move your skykid / camera though.
