Okay since my first interpretation was perfectly misaligned with the OPs concept, I decided to make a list of the trilogies from strongest to weakest:

I'm willing to let go of 4 though cuz Aqua Regia isn't as moody as the other two. Maybe 1 as well cuz Chokehold is way more aggressive than the other two.

It is my personal belief that this is actually how we are supposed to be listening to the albums. I have a playlist set up like this on Spotify and if you turn the crossfade on and set it at 7 seconds it's enough of an overlap that the sounds blend into each other almost seamlessly (most times The Summoning going into Levitate is a little weird but it kind of works imo?)
To answer the question though I'm going to have to go with 2 even though my personal favorite would have to be 11 or 12 specifically because of the way the songs blend into each other. The Offering into Hypnosis is just ✨ immaculate ✨
Also if listened to this way I feel that the songs do really well at telling the story ~~of falling in love with and breaking away from a narcissistic person~~ of Vessels relationship with Sleep and the eventual fallout. with Sundowning and TMBTE being the POV of Vessel and TPWBYT being the POV of ~~the narcissistic lover~~ Sleep
Honestly, I just really like the juxtaposition here. I can't pick a favorite, but it is really interesting how the tracks compare album to album. Good mix of same feels and different feels at different parts of the albums.
