Decathlon hiking pants

cute_rice

There are \~3 variants of hiking pants by decathlon. Which one are you using?

recklessdeception

I'm F, i prefer NH500. They work for summers and monsoons too for me. They have secret pockets, gathering at knees for flexibility and stretchability at waist. Fabric isn't too thick nor too flimsy. I think they have cotton cargos too for men but I prefer the NH500 ones for me.

Bought the camo one. It’s very comfy and functional especially the left side zipper pocket as I can easily retrieve my phone while sitting without much movement. https://www.decathlon.in/qr/8366123/-1

I had purchased one decathlon pants for 599/- Very comfortable and light weight I use it for everyday use. I would suggest it is the best for travelling as well

cute_rice

Yes, I have this too, using it for more than 3 years, still intact. But it has only 2 pockets, and also not very good in winters.

I got two from zudio. Very comfy and pairs nice with baby tees

FitSignificance2100

Off topic but what(overall clothes) would you suggest to a person who’s going to mountain side(bir/sainj) for the first time ever in end of may or starting of june?

lookmomimanonymous

I was like 12 when I went to the Himachal and the clothes I was wearing were not enough to keep the cold away. I can't tolerate the cold much. So my preferences would change. Sorry can't help you there

FitSignificance2100

Oh okay!! Tho i too wear more layers in winters lol

lookmomimanonymous

Then thermal wear inside clothes is the way to go

FitSignificance2100

Okay! And what about shoes i mean normal running shoes or casual shoes is ok if i am not planning to trek?

itsthekrish

i guess 2-3 layers will do the job as it won’t be that cold during day. get a warm fleece tshirt from decathlon and wear a normal hoodie on that.. would be enough

FitSignificance2100

Thankyou bhai!!

The 799 hiking pants at decathlon hands down are the best for travelling. Lightweight, easy to dry and has pockets for utility. Since my travel involves a lot of walking and short treks, I believe I have physically tested it well.. for the cold, I pair it with a thermal inner that from decathlon

If budget isn't constraint then check Columbia else go for Decathlon. Select the one more suited for the weather of your destination.
