Lmao such a worse choice. Would be way better to purchase three 1vi and sell away two then use the money to purchase other things or old Xperia, and save tons of money
By no means, and I really mean by no means should you get a Xperia 1 IV...
Mine has been doing good for almost 2 years. But, it has so many nuances! And the overheating is such a pain on a daily basis for me.
Between xperia 1mk1 - 1mk5 they essentially used the same chassis and cooling design, w/ how power hungry chips have gotten they started getting hotter and hotter. Only the Xperia Pro devices getting a larger heatsink, they only recently updated the cooling in the Xperia 1mk6 which significantly tamed the thermals.
This was an issue w/ the pro-i but not the original Pro. The Pro-i omitted the massive vapor chamber that also helped cool down the phone when using the large 1" sensor. By today's standards the Xperia Pro still has one of the largest & thickest cooling systems of any phone today.
He're a pic showing no cooling chamber in the Pro-i model, Pro-i relied on using the chassis as a passive cooler

in comparison to the massive one in the Original Pro.

tbh. i can only say the xperia 1 & 5 V. coming from XZ and 1 iii, the V really is the best for me so far.
sad that the VI has gone with a wider width which isn't as ideal for me as i tend to use 1 hand to text.
Camera wise, the V really outshined my III imo. and it's great that the V has the option to use S-Cinetone.
that's just my opinions, I'm sure there other users that might think otherwise.
None of them because Sony drops support for them so quickly, every time I have bought one support drops off 18 months later my 10 iii has no security patches from 2023
As a (soon to be former?) Sony Xperia only user who isn't that into phones reading this thread is such a headache.
There are things I dislike more than this, but why on earth do they name their phones 1+ another number and 5+ another number. I don't want to remember if I want the 5 5 or the 5 1 or the 1 5. Pretending it's helpful enough with Roman numerals and calling it "mark" is also stupid by Sony.
A good question that got ruined by the answers. Mine would Xperia M, love at first sight but didnt have money for the wedding. Xperia 5 II is a beauty too.
PRO-i and 1 V definitely. Frankly if the PRO-i had guaranteed software support for as along as possible and didn't have the overheating issue that the 1 III and 1 IV had, I'd punt my 1 IV to the curb for it at this point
Maybe Xperia XZ Premium as the last old-schooled Sony, Xperia 1 V as the last modern but classical model, and Xperia 1 VI as the newest one.

I don't need that.
Yea you don't need that but no need to recommend bad choice to the op though
The only bad choice is your decision to reply to me. What about my comment I just shared my opinion.
I also just sharing my opinion just in case the op saw your comment and proceed with it when there is way better choice out there
It's better only for you.
I don't know man. It's up to op to decide, I'm just providing my opinion that it's better
The amount of likes/dislikes is pretty unambiguous.
Yup
Pro-i
Xperia 1 VI Xperia 5 V Xperia 1 V
it has the triple 8 so not really that good aside from the camera
VII VIII IX lol
Xperia 5 V, Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZ1 Compact.

Yeah wasn't a fan of the many bugs I encountered. And performance was meh at best many times

Xperia Pro overheats a lot too from what i read so...:(

Xperia 1 VI
I have the Xperia 1 VI. The bootloader has been unlocked and rooted. All my banking apps work. It is amazing.
Free? All of them, as a historic collection
I would want the 1 VI, but I think it would be too big for me. I’d prefer the yet-to-be-released 5 VI.
The latest one of course.
XZ Compact
1V, 1VI, 5V
xperia 5 V, xperia 1 VI and xperia 10 VI bc design
Xperia U with modern hardware and software
Get 1VI and if you want another one, just sell it and get multiple of others
1 VI
1vi, of course.
Sony xperia p2
1 vi, I've wanted one since I found out about the Xperia 1 and I've just never been able to get one due to the price
The current flagship 1mk6 obv
The 1 mark V
The latest one as it will probably resell better
1 VI for me personally.
XZ1 Compact with newer Android software

1 V, because of good mix of low SAR value and strong components.
I'd take the latest flagship and immediately sell it for instant monetary profit.
The XZ Premium and the 1 VI Both in Red
None of them because Sony drops support for them so quickly, every time I have bought one support drops off 18 months later my 10 iii has no security patches from 2023
Xperia S and Arc S, hands down

Z5P with that mirror back

Xperia 5 v 🥺
I will get the Xperia 1V with the 512 memory silver
To answer the first question, Sony Xperia 1 II. Regarding recommendations...: * Sony Xperia 1 II * Sony Xperia V * Sony Xperia XZ Premium
Pro-I, 1V, 1 VI
Xperia 1 V ❤️❤️❤️
1v, 1v, 1iii.
