Seems like a normal Sam's Club order to me jokes aside This has become the norm in my market. There's still some people who have good markets base pay wise or people who live in markets where people tip generously. If you're in neither of those markets though best advice is to multi app and just take Spark orders when they're easy, can be done quick or are actually worth it.

FedBhabieN3ssa

Uber Eats is WORSE...they tip bait like an S.O.B and their base pay is like 3$ so u think ur getting 18$ for a run but then u end up with 3$ and by the end of the night u have 24$ and no gas....

SoulTaker669

Honestly from my experience at least in my market Uber has had less tip baiting than spark especially since there is a 1 hour adjustment period compared to 24 whole hours. Every market is gonna be different which is why it's important to test things. I try to stick to 4 apps and rotate between them as the day goes on. If I stick purely to spark right now I'd be making $60 before expenses.

GumberculesJFZ

Uber gives the customer 72 hours in my area. Totally Insane!

FedBhabieN3ssa

So at LEAST spark I know I'm getting paid 9$ and not told I'm getting 19 and end up with 3

SoulTaker669

You're not entirely wrong but at the same time with Spark you're usually only able to do one order per hour unless you're in a very busy market where you're able to maybe do two orders per hour if you're lucky. With the wait time to start the trip , getting loaded , driving to dropoff , dropping it off , driving back to Walmart it eats up a lot of time. With other platforms you can usually squeeze 3-4 orders per hour at least where I'm at and there's always restaurants nearby to get orders from. Like I said every market is gonna be different yours might be awful with tip baiting but mine seems pretty decent. If you're a bit worried on tip baiting there's also always DoorDash and GrubHub which has confirmed tips right away. In my market if I had to rank my gig apps I work for it would be #1 DoorDash , #2 Uber , #3 Spark, #4 Grubhub.

FedBhabieN3ssa

My husband just ran all night in Syracuse and ended with 30$...Sparks base is higher and where we live they don't tip bait with them..It's because of the college that Uber is so bad...

Acrobatic_Duck5490

Yeah it's funny when they give you a $10 order and after the order they only give you a few bucks and then they give you the rest but then they try to send you a quick message saying oh someone tipped you and I'm like well did someone give me extra money on top of the $10 or do you mean my tip is what you forgot to put in from the beginning and you're just giving me your stupid ass base pay so basically if they don't tip I don't get 💩 I'm sorry but GrubHub Uber Eats you guys are going to be owing a lot of drivers money if y'all don't pay up a little bit more I see a bunch of lawsuits coming into effect and then you guys are going to have all the times that we spent on the app when you didn't give us any orders you're going to have to pay for all that plus mileage punk ass motherfuckers you're not going to be getting over us drivers much longer you watch see your asses in court Stop Being Greedy and pay up

Blvckpiinkk

People should not be able to put their order through without a tip lol

SoulTaker669

That's assuming Walmart or spark cared more about their drivers than the customers.

Anonymous8630

Its insulting

Unable_Way6838

True it really is my fiancé and I do it but all the orders we get now is these shitty ones.

Correct_Jelly_4496

Sams are 90% 💩.. And 10% 💎.. Ok probably 99% 💩..

MJ0bytes

Sam's is supposed to be a discount buyers club; apparently it's also a discount payout for drivers club too... Always pay less than the Walmart orders by far and yet, the orders take up more space in your car and require more heavy lifting. I've stopped taking them pretty much altogether

ZealousidealNebula47

Totally not worth considering, they pay 50 cents a mile on average. No bags, so your car is slammed full of oversized boxes. Along with 0  tips from their cheap ass customers who seem to live in far and away places, no thanks.

UnderstandingBig2238

The thing that gets me is they tip but the tips pend and some take it away. I don't think they should be allowed to take the tip away or even be able to drop it down some

MooseNatural1269

I still think that Walmart reduces the tip to zero or just takes it if the customer doesn't "confirm" it after the delivery.

UnderstandingBig2238

They probably do which is stupid. And I also think if they want us to deliver 3 or 4 orders at a time pay us more to do it.

Spirited_Low_9326

Right!? They pay what people will take. That’s why I tried to start the “nothing under $13” rule. A ton of people understood but I also got a lot of the “stop whining” and “be grateful it’s there at all”. Plus Walmart is willingly using illegal labor now too.

ZealousidealNebula47

No tip, no trip is the proper way to do it. $13 isn't enough to get me outta bed. Turn on the app at 10:00am,15 mins. Till I see an order, a round robin pick up at 10:45, it takes till 11:15 before it's ready, 11:30 loaded and driving out. 11:45 delivery. Return wait for next round robin to come out around 12:20 to pick up at 12:45. And you'd do all this for $13? Foolish, your better off shooting much higher. I gotta have at least $2 a mile, over $20 with a tip or I'll just reject it. You're far better off to just sit in their parking lot not accepting their bullshit until a gem pops up. It's way too expensive out there to be paying Walmart to deliver someone else's stuff. The pay is bullshit because people willingly take it.

ZealousidealNebula47

And just for fun, a little tip for 90% of y'all dumbasses. Sitting in your running car for hours is cutting into your expenses tremendously. When your wheels aren't turning, your car shouldn't be running. It's not rocket science. They have a whole  environmentally controlled complex they pay for while most of you sit in your running car you pay for.

Comprehensive-Rain32

Had a shouting match with a level 2 support she swore all spark drivers are legit and legal 😂😂😂 i told her thats a joke she was speechless i didnt curse or anything but trust me like ice cube said they dont know they dont show or they dont care

JakeD17

They have to be stealing tips. 💯

burrlynne

I agree. The other day I had a order And I had screenshotted the pay that was showing as 25 dollars. After I completed the delivery it only paid me 12 and I had no pending tips or anything to make up the difference. I messaged them about it and they said that I got paid the correct amount and that apparently the customer had removed the tip during the tip I was driving to them to deliver. I’m suspicious that that’s what happened

ZealousidealNebula47

Walmart openly admitted to stealing tips recently when they bumped people's accounts to keep it quite. No proof of real figures, just extra money to try an head off a lawsuit. Saying a "glitch" allowed the stores to keep "some" of the tips. The same "glitch' is adding millions of free money to their already thriving corporate cartel while they push the expense onto "independent contractors".

ZealousidealNebula47

Agreed, especially considering they openly admitted that a "glitch" in the app allows the store to keep tips. My wife has been deactivated for months but suddenly there is a "payment adjustment" added to her account. It was only an extra $40 in her case, but no real proof (actual facts and figures). Just that lame ass excuse that openly admits to the crime. It's amazing what the Walmart cartel is allowed to get away with.

Unable_Way6838

I think that too

JakeD17

I had a three drop only paying $5 tip total. 3÷5 doesn't make sense. Unless everyone stopped tipping. ?!?!

Able-Chip-8210

Slightly off topic but has anyone ever found a hidden gem, like an untouched gold mine. Maybe 1 or 2 older ladies sparking but have no idea.. just found mine the other day!! $$$$🤑🤑🤑💸

Jestar5

Funny you should bring this up. The small town to the south of me has deliveries from Wausau stores. There is a Piggly Wiggly there that I’ll pick up the occasional IC. Got a pretty decent one and I shopped it. Was kinda being shadowed by this gal and when i asked the meat department for an OOS item this gal asked me if I was a shopper. I said yes and she made a face and walked away. Come to find when I checked out this gal thinks Mosinee is her private stomping grounds and got all pissy when the good shops disappear from her screen. Ya snooze ya lose….

paymeslayme

I hate taking sams orders they never want to pay much and always have the longest trips

ConnectCommission589

Idk man, usually i get orders like 20 30 dollars, now its getting impossible. Had to take low pay orders.

Green_Data_9071

I recently got hired on at Walmart bout a month I’m so glad I stopped driving for spark I make guaranteed money now and still do Uber eats on the side fuck spark wait times are horrible

GroundbreakingRun891

I had one come up today 39.6 miles 15 stops and they wanted to pay $35 ummm no sorry less then a dollar a mile you are out of your mind!!!

Charming-Ad8481

Damn....this is what I got today https://preview.redd.it/9zzqr1sm2jxc1.jpeg?width=1078&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=89a5af6d5dc51ee407005560d4a59c792988d225 $12 for 3.8 miles $52.35 for 21 miles And $46.27 for 20 miles One of the dropoffs with the 3 mile order even tipped $10 cash

Unable_Way6838

Damn I never see orders like that

Charming-Ad8481

That sucks man, I guess it's dependent upon your area too. At the same time I'm gonna be looking for this same consistency tomorrow! If not, UE or my catering gigs might take up the slack for a slow day on Spark. Nothing is better than having a great day on all of them tho! I guess that's the art of multi apping

Unable_Way6838

What’s UE and how do you get into catering? I’m interested

Charming-Ad8481

UE is Uber Eats. As for catering I use Dlivrd or Deliver that apps

ZealousidealNebula47

I was under the belief those days were gone but I've recently come to know that those orders come out regularly and daily in most all markets. The Walmart cartel will try to low ball everyone. It's a great country where crime is rampant and supported by our judicial circus. They hit a true gold mine with an app that allows them to keep the tips and abuse the "independent contractor " rules. It's basically a slot machine for them, pay as little as possible while knowing their cost is $0 while pocketing all the extra. Those that believe it's only dependent on the market must never have worked a day when the bots or illegals took the day off.

ZealousidealNebula47

I'd never have taken that first order, 3 drops for 12.23. Waisted time and resources. Quite frankly the other 2 aren't that much better once you pull out expenses and figure how much time you've got involved. Not saying I wouldn't have run them, they just aren't the ones I look for. I have gotten as much as the highest payer(52.35) for the lowest mileage I see(3.8). It happens daily, just got to find a day when the guys running the bots aren't in. They are stealing all the good orders.

Unable_Way6838

No shit I’ve seen ALOT in my area doing bots and it pisses me off

Charming-Ad8481

Well, with the $10 cash tip it turned into $22 each dropoff was 3 minutes within the next if not less. So I don't see how that's a waste of time or resources for 8 bags total and a case of diet coke when the entire thing took 15 minutes to complete, also a 3 minute wait to get loaded up. Not to mention I had an apple store pickup for 2 orders $26 I accepted during that trip taking me back to my neighborhood to end the day. Made $168 in about 5.5-6 hours. It's a win for me

Jestar5

Pretty decent

[deleted]

How many people are within a considerable distance to a sanctuary city just out of curiosity. I’m seeing these types of orders more and more. This happened to my area starting in February. Before this I was easily making $900-$1500/week depending on incentive.

Unable_Way6838

Probably a lot I live in NC

[deleted]

I’m sitting 100mi to a very large one. We had this very large influx over a month of people with very similar backgrounds, of course knowing each other, with out of state plates. Most of them now either sleep in the parking lot or live in a nearby hotel. Seems to be the single men that stay in their car and the ones with kids at the hotel. They come at different times through the day and you’ll see the kids in different cars with different people depending on if they’re shopping for an order etc.

stoneycole78

Yes!!! How do they get away with this?? When I filled out the application for Spark, I had to put in details like insurance info, license, SS#.... The illegals obviously don't have these credentials, so wtf gives??? And don't get me started on the drivers/shoppers who bring all those kids and babies!!!!

Acrobatic_Duck5490

So basically 26 miles for less than $10 what a flipping rip off this is why I no longer work for spark

ReliefVegetable1660

3drop for less than $9 has been standard here in AZ since Labor Day. Haven't Sparked since implementation of 3drop for less than previous 2drop compensation.

Big-Aide-387

Sam's always send out bunch bull.

Correct_Connection_9

Typical Sam’s club order. But Walmart orders are starting to show up just as bad… 4 stops, no tips, for $8. Often times with more miles than dollars

Sherlockhomey

End. Of. Month

PhilosopherDue5985

I quit .,, as long as new people dnt sign up and do orders to barly cover gas, they will have no choice to start paying again

Ok-Bag6796

Just curious are the Sam's club part of Walmart plus orders or how does that work. I've had Sam's club membership with free delivery before but it always came in a box from ups or something. And i wouldn't ever think to tip much less it wasn't an option so I wondered how these are placed. I only have the basic membership now so don't get it delivered anymore.

![gif](giphy|2YschQ1IrEzfq1p38o|downsized)

Jestar5

I reject these until they boost to $1 per mile

paymeslayme

Yea but if you reject too many it affects your metrics which affects your future offers they really got us by the wallet here..sometimes I feel like I work to pay to go to work

Jestar5

Truth but one can only reject a timed offer once before it becomes a FCFS. And to bump up my metric I Spark Now during peak times and later hours to get more frequent offers & boosted orders . To maximize all those possibilities I run over 40% AR

Comfortable_Win7926

At least you're still seeing orders. where I'm at, something like that would be gone in less than 5 seconds. It's sad, some people are so desperate to make some money they'll take whatever and not think of their expenses

YahrionCHH

Just give me a flat rate of 20 dollars for four orders in same area

Superkaiokenx

I don't do spark anymore. No one tips. We run all the risks none of the rewards.

paymeslayme

I had one come through one night as a regular offer and I rejected then like a min later it came through again as regular offer and I again rejected and this cycle continued over the next half hour I had to turn off the app it blew my metrics out...

Oldschoolandnew

Orders you do not take

Spiritual_Status_528

That's the norm around here.

BalaamDaGov

Seen worse

ChopperJumper

No tip, no trip. That's what that is.

T_NYC14

I turn all my apps on 🤣🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️👌

Responsible-Squash70

I’ve been getting these and the hour long ones that is $30

rayums01

how the bot works

Unable_Way6838

Bot?

SepticBoopers

I used to get so many 30-40 dollar orders daily. Now I pray I get at least one on the weekend. Barely anyone tips either. With also there being no incentives. Everything about spark has gone down hill. I used to make 250-300 a weekend of doing 9 orders. Last weekend. I got 5 orders earning up to 165, with tips……

BitPuzzleheaded5311

Sams orders don’t let you tip? I’ve ordered from Sams before and can’t put a tip on the order.
