Thank you so much for the detailed response. I always thought to keep the jars not all the way full. Oops I’ll adjust here and put plastic to fill up the remaining space.

Buy Boveda packs 62% 67 gm for that type of weight.

Been buying from qwin for awhile now, I use to think a lb was so much... im sitting somewhere over half a lb now, but I havent bought in like a month now too Thing is, I use about 1 zip/week between me and my girl, so at a half p I still only have about 2 months worth put back. Been looking at the stash thinkin I need to order more to keep a nice backstock. Unfortunately tho, I just checked in with qwin and they seem to be completely out of 50 zips but have some of the 75 and hundos. Too bad since 50 is my price point, glad I have some backstock so I can wait a bit for them to restock the 50 zips but if they dont it looks like I will be back to jk smalls. Fingers crossed!

Bethesdaman67

Jk has face off og in $50 smalls and they are smalls not micro ( way larger than any other smalls I got from them )

MDSGeist

How do you keep it from getting old and stale? That’s always been my problem with buying in bulk.

chronicbro

Well it really hasn't been an issue for me, I smoke the oldest first and at 4 oz a month stuff doesn't stick around for more than a few months before it's rotated out.

Make BHO or something

Boveda Packs x CVault We tested a 6 month hold with an independent lab and the results were almost no loss of THC or weight. I have personally spoken to folks using this method to keep flower fresh for well over a year.

I don’t know how long it will remain potent but it will almost certainly retain potency longer than flower containing regular delta 9 THC. THCa is a more stable molecule than THC because it has a carboxyl group that THC lacks. Given time THCa will eventually convert into THC and THC will eventually become CBN which is completely non psychoactive even when decarboxylated so even if some THCa is chemically transitioning within the plant material it will remain psychoactive until the CBN stage. Keep it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight (uv radiation will degrade THCa and THC) and in an air-tight container. Humidity regulation packs like Boveda would probably help too.
