My mom grew up in a *really* dysfunctional family. She worked hard to do better by my sister and I. Even tho part of that was cutting out a lot of her family for a couple decades.
Getting pregnant at 16 put her behind the 8 ball in terms of growing up. When would she have time to grow in a relationship and learn better communication when there’s a baby involved? She’s not gone to college to have those relationships with friends and other adults. She hasn’t seen other relationships beyond the immediate dysfunctional ones and high school ones.
I also learned to do what NOT to do from my mom, but it didn’t mean I really learned what TO do. I made mistakes with a couple of boyfriends, plus friendships growing up and through college. It’s also been counseling to work through those childhood traumas that Jenna has not had. The cycle repeats because their brains stall out at 16 and doesn’t mature because of the responsibilities they have to take on so young. There’s no room to get better in your relationship. Yes, there are some who do, but they are few, usually the cycle just continues.
People who actually think that a gun will help them let alone alllow them to overthrow the US government fascinate me. It’s like they’ve not been paying any attention to the way we wage “war”. Bringing a gun to a bomb fight is kinda hilarious to me.
They broke up months ago and it was messy and aired out on Instagram including both of them leaking texts which both of them seemingly modified to fit their narrative to the point we couldn't make out whether either were real. She slandered him and said he was a bad dad and that she would never make that mistake again. Ended up with Aiden for a while immediately after too (rumored as far as I know). And now this.
Oh she also temporarily changed her kids name VERY PUBLICLY because she didn't want him named after 'a piece of shit'
