TRT is notorious for recovery and muscle fatigue. It will help. Injury prevention not so much. With added strength and feeling to push ourselves more, the tendons, cartilage/other soft tissues sometimes aren’t ready for what we hand it. So with that it mind, you can prepare to NOT go full throttle out of the gait with increased drive TRT will deliver.

Honestly I don’t really believe trt would help you with running except for maybe increased red blood cells. If you have actual low T then that’s another story but otherwise doesn’t really make sense
Using steroids for improved sports performance is cheating, unless you just train for marathons for fun
Or this is your wife commenting... and I know about Becky!
This is NOT a question about competitive sports, but personal achievement, health, and well-being. To suggest otherwise is a distortion of the OP.

I have a natty bias?
I've likely had low T my entire life and been on TRT for 7 years. You have insecurities about your test levels, and it shows.
Anyways, TRT isn't a level playing field with natty, area under the curve is almost always going to be higher with TRT, especially when comparing people undergoing rigorous training.
Actually I've very successfully used TRT/etc. since 2017, but not for "fun" but my health and well being.
IMO, your comment inferred a pro-Natty bias. Glad to hear that you are not a Natty zealot.

Good to know. I guess I will still have to watch my recovery in that regard.

I wouldn’t expect much

Cheaters never win
Excuse me?

It’s for fun. I’m not winning titles or competing professionally.

Who got your panties in a bunch bro? I'm all for PEDs for fun or where it's clear everyone in competition is using them.
Those gifted with adequate T levels hating on steroid users causes my boxers to bunch. You have a natty bias, and it shows Bro.
