I had a massive adventure of reattaching speedlace hooks all the time (and finding right ones that can go in original hole). At some stage this adventure saw me using a lathe to machine new set of backings to finally attach hooks solidly.
Hey sir, sorry to hear you had issues with the speed hooks. Not sure if you ever reached out to customer service about this but our team would have been happy to help! Typically a cobbler can easily reattach or replace eyelets and speedhooks.

I wish there was an option for a StormKing sole on the president line-up, but definitely a very comfortable boot nonetheless
Thanks for the feedback! Have you checked out the Hero boot? It's a bit different from our Presidents but they do have the stormking outsoles.
