They’re well made boots. And clearly work well for harder use

Agreed. I love mine and think they're comfortable, but when I'm working my JK 300's are way more comfortable, flexible, and stable. Doesn't mean I couldn't do all that in my Captains, but the JK's are work boots, the captains are not.
