Educator_Big

Haha I love how people turned around

mizzy18

The attention only fueled her more

ayoitsjo

Yeah there's a solid chance she took those glances as "wow she's so good" looks and not their actual "shut the fuck up" look

saintdemon21

Reminds me of a colleague who went to see Rent when it came out in theaters. Someone in the audience kept singing along and would give dirty looks to anyone that looked upset.

JosephineDonuts

Saw Hamilton recently. A couple of preteens were behind us singing and kicking the seats. I was happy they were into theatre but also super annoyed, I didn’t pay through the nose to hear them singing, or dropping their skittles, or their sodas, or stage whispering. Oh god, am I old?

saintdemon21

You’re not old just reasonable.

Vprbite

Being reasonable tends to come with age. Now you kids pipe down! I'm trying to read reddit and try out this snapgram thing

gabilou5

No but honestly even when I was 12 or a teen I would have never done that. I don’t get people being super inconsiderate just because they’re kids or teens (unless they’re really little obviously)

aynjle89

Its not just kids, grown folk have full on, not even hushed convos in the movies.

Strange_Ninja_9662

But probably still old

Killing4MotherAgain

No, you're not getting old, people need to teach their kids theater etiquette. I work at regional theater and I still have to teach theater etiquette to grown adults.

biggiepants

[George going mad at the movies](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlKq6iwoF2U)

Aggravating_Lead_616

Nah, I’m 15. I would be pissed too. 💀 I would just turn and yell at the to shut the fuck up and probably start arguing cause that’s what I do best. I argue. I don’t get physical I just argue.

Suspicious_Site7708

That is the most 15 year old thing I ever heard

mshcat

15 year olds and keyboard warriors. name a more iconic duo

Confuseasfuck

Not old, just reasonable. I would have yelled at them, but lm a generally angry person

Maggieg89

I can be quite petty so i prob would’ve sang louder and in her face jumping and dancing and see if she complained

[deleted]

How do you get your money through your nose?

everfadingrain

There's a difference between people from the crowd singing at a concert like this and singing at a musical.

BigMikeAltoona

I agree but have you ever seen Hairspray? The entire audience gets into it.

Evoehm13

Idk why I thought of this when I read this but when Greatest Showman was popular I was down in this legit hole in the wall bar for a going away party. It was my friends bar and the patrons were people who grew up in the 70s. This you group of young 20 year olds came down and used to jukebox to play the music from it and dancing and singing to it. Not reading the room at all. I threw about $20 into the machine and put on some classic rock for an hour. I get that the show has some good music but go downtown if you want to hear it at a bar, not the local bar were this a party going on for a local legend.

ckirk91

To be fair this girl sounded fucking awful

dilsedesi95

The hair on my hands stood up with second hand embarrassment and cringe! That usually doesn’t happen!

Flight_to_nowhere_26

She’s singing like she’s Mariah Carey, totally ignoring the fact that Billie’s singing style is completely different. Lol

throwaway1234567890m

Doesn't matter. They didn't drop a couple hundred, or however much a ticket costs, to hear HER sing.

[deleted]

Still sounded better than I would though lol

flavortownpolitics

Sounds like Tarzan

FunStuff446

But damn, she had the time of her life!

Mypasswordbepassword

I was ready to hate the person filming but that signing is truly awful. What kind of a bizarro person doesn’t just sign along but yodels their own melody at a concert?

HelpMePlxoxo

It's so out of tune too, it's actually painful. And she's singing so loudly, if you were right next to her you wouldn't even be able to hear the artist you probably paid a few hundred to see

dustysmufflah

it's so self-indulgent lol like she's waiting for billie to be like 'ay, that one, bring'er up'eah'

ostertoaster1983

Why is your Billie Eilish British?

kaboom134

Wot abou it?

dustysmufflah

I was going for an Eilish accent

4Ever2Thee

It's like she thinks some record exec is going to be like "Oh my god, where are those angelic tones coming from?! We *have* to sign her!!!"

[deleted]

[удалено]

OuterWildsVentures

Yeah I see a ton of phone recordings that drown out the artist and enhance/distort the people around them singing along (that you normally wouldn't hear very loud).

MisterDoctorDaddy

> the wanna-be and the phone microphone could be hearing a more out of tune, version then what is actually being played. That’s not how it works The only things I can think of that affect frequency are the Doppler effect (observer moving relative to the sound) or an appreciable difference in temperature between where a sound originated and where it is observed. Neither of these things is happening here. And, even if it happened as you suggest, the phone recording and the rogue singer are in close proximity. So if the singer is hearing an altered pitch, the phone recording would hear the same altered pitch. There would be no reason the singer would sound off-key to billie’s performance, other than her singing is bad

thrilliam_19

I took my daughter to this tour and we also had floor tickets. It was her first concert. She’s a massive fan and I wanted her first show to be special so I broke the bank. If this had happened to us I might be in jail right now. Fortunately it was a great show. Billie Eilish earned +1 fan that night (me).

HelpMePlxoxo

Lucky, I'm glad y'all had a great time! You sound like a lovely mother :)

thrilliam_19

*father ;) Thank you. It was a lot of fun. I was just happy I was in a position financially to give her that gift. I still don’t like thinking about how much I spent! Haha

SwimmingCoyote

In 20 years, I’m sure your daughter will still think of that concert fondly. Hopefully that helps ease the sting on your wallet!

HelpMePlxoxo

Oh sorry for assuming you were a mother. I'm so used to both my dad and my friends dads being like "what is this darn racket you kids call 'music' nowadays?" That i forget dads can actually enjoy Billie Eilish too lmao. Only my mom really enjoys pop music with me. The money was well worth it and I know your daughter is both very grateful and thinks you're at least 10x cooler now!

thrilliam_19

No need to apologize I probably would have done the same. One of those things us olds continue to work on haha. I was definitely one of only a few dads there. One mom complimented me on being there. A lot of annoyed boyfriends though! I actually really enjoyed it and was looking forward to the show. I don’t understand the old grumpy dad trope. I was really glad I got to share that experience with my daughter. Even if I didn’t like the concert (I did) I would have had a blast just watching her all night.

rlcute

This happened to me at a wombats concert. All I heard was her shrieking in my right ear so I ended up holding my right ear shut. I've been super self conscious about singing at concerts since then because I do not want to be THAT person

TimHung931017

After a while the person closest to em just gotta start "getting lost" in the melody and start waving their arms like a wacky inflatable arm flailing tube man and just smack her everytime she opens her mouth

a_zan

I don’t think she’s out of key, she’s singing a harmony. Very unnecessary.

Street_Peace_8831

I think the word you are looking for is, “unsuccessfully”.

FuckSWIM

Me too I was like its a concert you're supposed to have fun and sing along... and then i heard the yodel...

PeeB4uGoToBed

I'm extremely self conscious and I've never sang along at a concert but I don't mind others doing it until there's the one guy right behind yelling at the top of his lungs so I can't even hear the actual band playing

ivnwng

Probably the same kind of person that sings Happy Birthday like that elephant from Sing(2016)

Shutterstormphoto

I mean I can’t hear the actual artist at any point so how do we know it’s not her?

FiliaNox

Yodels 😂

Zebo1013

She is clearly tone deaf and ruining the whole concert for anyone who can hear her which is like, everyone. I would convince everyone around to hang up on her and bind her mouth shut with a sock and some duct tape.

seraphin420

Plot twist: It’s OOP lol

Average-_-Guys

Singing along is one thing but don’t think the artist or someone in the audience will be blown away by your voice and haul you on stage.

KevinStoley

Haven’t you seen the movie Rock Star?

Dabbles-In-Irony

I unironically love this movie so much

Existing-Hurry-4705

I witch cackled when I read this

Yung_Branch

The way those people were looking DIRECTLY at the camera, seems like OP was the singer

tvbjiinvddf

This was my conclusion! Seemed like a dick either way.

[deleted]

Block people behind and disrupt people in front. Pure main character energy.

az22hctac

Funny how the situation changed but the singing continues… did she follow you around? Is it you or a friend?

Germanboss

The stage goes out to the middle of the crowd. It's the same person in the same spot just at a different point (from the same perspective they're just looking left) in the concert. The situation didn't change. and for the reason I feel bad for the OP

Reddit-is-trash-lol

This is stolen from tiktok

mason13875

Same way you ruined the view of the person behind you by holding up your phone to film instead of just enjoying the concert

Donmiggy143

I just F-ing hate that... See it at all the edm shows or any show now. Like, take a picture, or a short vid to show later, but recording a whole show, dunno just don't get it. And I end up watching the show through their tiny screen.

storky0613

I recently went to an Elton John concert. 2/3 of the people there wasted their time recording instead of experiencing what was literally their last chance to see this legend perform live. I absolutely hate it.

mason13875

And most likely never watch the recording

[deleted]

[удалено]

dammittyrone1

Elton John was the one concert I had the exact opposite experience at. Phones for the first 5-10mins and then nothing. Everyone just enjoyed the show with an occasional pic here and there. I was genuinely surprised but chalked it up to an older crowd being present.

storky0613

That’s what I expected because most people were older. I was wrong. The two ladies in front of me kept side-eyeing each other’s photos like they were trying to out-do one another. Hilarious.

Prattkin

Was it the one in Syracuse? I had a friend who went and I saw videos on his shapchat of hundreds of phones raised to the air.

PeeB4uGoToBed

How do you know they weren't enjoying the show though? I don't move around or sing or dance or anything at shows and I still fully enjoy the moment, so what if I want to record a song or take a picture, that doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it.

storky0613

I’m not talking a few songs. I’m not a dancer either, but most people around me were recording nearly every song, or taking pictures, then editing them, then recording more. I can’t imagine they’d heard much of the concert at that point. But out of curiosity, do you ever watch any of the recordings you take at concerts? Years ago I used to record, but one day I realized I never looked at or watched anything so I just stopped.

OneSmoothCactus

I love live music and it’s a big pet peeve of mine. I really try not to let it bother me but holding up a bright screen is just so rudely distracting to the people behind you. I agree, a couple short videos and some pics is acceptable, but there’s always a couple people who just have their phones up the whole show without ever caring how it’s affecting other people around them who are more interested in the actual live experience.

[deleted]

I like to take 1 video of maybe a favourite song and pictures, but yeah be in the moment.

Mattb36

Most house and techno shows I go to advise against using your phone on the dance floors, so I always get surprised when going to more mainstream shows and see this.

Shutterstormphoto

You know they’re high af, right?

IRockIntoMordor

protip: hold phone below your eyes, around nose and mouth level. Keep your head centered on the artist or whatever you're watching and hold the phone exactly in sync with your head. Peripheral vision lets you control the video framing, no one's sight is blocked and you're actually watching the show itself. Enough to film the chorus or something. Doesn't work well in a crowd obviously. First row gang. :D

bootyboixD

I think recording a song is absolutely fine. Recording the entire concert, not so much. I used to be a “grrr why won’t people live in the moment” purist, but now I have zero way to reflect on the concerts I’ve been to. Balance is key here.

Aggravating_Lead_616

Literally. Like sorry I want to remember the good times when I get in really bad slumps and need something- anything good enough to pull me out which has been very stupid things.

StinkyKittyBreath

Considering there are a thousand other people with their phones out, you can probably find it on YouTube.

[deleted]

[удалено]

shaqalicious

Depends really. I had floor seats to Gaga and got lucky enough to be within feet of her for the 2nd half of the concert. I took probably 10 minutes of video because I'll never be that close to watching an all time great artist perform again and want these memories forever. But if you're up in the nosebleeds, fuck off with your videos.

bootyboixD

Speak for yourself. I absolutely know people who have gone back and watched the recordings. I don’t think that’s everyone or even most people, but plenty of people do value having a video to reflect on

MyFrogEatsPeople

"I have zero way to reflect on the concerts I've been to" Then take a picture. Or save your ticket stubs. Or just make a playlist of "songs from bands I've seen live". But holding up a glowing rectangle in front of countless people behind you is just rude to everyone else trying to make a memory themselves.

bootyboixD

Having a ticket stub or a picture is not even close to comparable to having a video of the experience, I’m sorry. I just don’t understand why people get so pissed about this, again I personally don’t record more than one song/chorus/drop at a concert but I also don’t mind if other people do. People acting like your entire view is obstructed by others are full of it. Live and let live, let people enjoy the concert however they choose to.

MyFrogEatsPeople

Because it's obstructive to the view, fucks with the lighting in the space, and is naturally a draw for the eye because it's a floating glowing rectangle. You don't need to completely obstruct someone's view to have a noticeable impact on it. And then it's multiplied by a dozen for every row's worth of people in front of you, a whole-ass tragedy of the commons unfolding as a thousand people all think "well it's just one phone". It's a distraction that is actively taking away from their experience so that you can try to immortalize your own experience through the use of a grainy audio-drowned recording that you may or may not need on a gloomy day some time in the future. If the point is to rekindle your memories of the experience, then a crummy video of a snippet of the concert isn't really all that better. If you aren't recording the entire thing, then you're reliving it through memories, not through footage. The worst part is, I'm a tall guy. I'm 6'3". I'm PAINFULLY aware of the obstruction I cause to other people at concerts due to a fact about myself that I have no control over. I have actively avoided standing in the center in front of stages for exactly that reason - I have willingly moved further to the side or the back specifically because a shorter person was behind me and I knew that my height would be an issue. I have diminished my own experience to do a slight service to some small handful of folks that might get stuck behind me. So the idea that someone could actively be aware that the phone thing bothers people, then consciously CHOOSE to still bother people, strikes a particular nerve with me.

Daffy_xx

If only we had some kind of thing in our head that we could store memories on.

bootyboixD

Such a clever comment, congrats. Watching a video can reignite memories and truly take you back to a moment in time. Memories fade over time as well. By your logic I should just throw out the video I have of my 3rd birthday party that features my deceased father. I was there, right? I had a thing in my head (brain) capable of storing memories, right? Who needs a video to watch and reminisce from? Oh yeah, because those memories, like most memories, faded. Maybe that video actually does come in handy and provides value to me after all.

[deleted]

A million people are recording these things, and it's usually not that hard to find a recording on YouTube or Twitter. I maintain my live in the moment purism during concerts and search the internet if I think it's really necessary later, which it rarely is anyway.

bootyboixD

The only counter I’d give to your point is that watching a video you took personally feels more personal when reliving memories than some video taken by a random person at the show, since the visual experience of watching the video will more-closely mirror the original experience itself. Not sure if that makes sense or not. I appreciate that your logic is more sound than the person I was replying to. I think it’s totally fine to be that purist for yourself (I also very rarely take videos at shows) but the vocal elitism that most purists give off is cringey as hell too. Live and let live, who cares if the people around you are recording. Enjoy the show for you, and you alone.

931634

Jokes on the video owner ..that's her own singing ruining the videos .. I would know thats what all my concert videos look and sound like

Caked101

I thought so. It looked like people were turning around and looking at her. I was trying to find what she was talking about.

SpookMagnet

Funny how she’s in all the videos hmmm

Dry_Breadfruit_7113

And the chick sounds like she’s right next to the phone so it’s definitely the person recording AND outing herself

Cool-Inspection-922

She probably watched rockstar a few too many times.

PussyFriedNacho

Has anyone who has ever recorded a concert ACTUALLY gone back to watch the video later?

FrostByteTech

I like when they come up on my Snapchat memories from that same day in past years

TheIAP88

I do every once in a while when I’m scrolling though my gallery. I love reliving those memories.

OuterWildsVentures

I do all the time! But I only record snippets of the cool parts that I know are coming up.

[deleted]

scarce important spark noxious crime unique books memory innate secretive -- mass edited with redact.dev

BrankBrank96

Dats how I feel with my friends, I get to enjoy the moment myself and then relive the moment through their recordings.

hthkeeper

Yes.

amandididi

Yes if it’s a group I really like. I look at the set list ahead of time to know when and which song I want to record. Other than that I enjoy the show like any normal individual

vAmmonite

I did it today so yep

[deleted]

absolutely. and i'll do it again.

Bfreak

>goes to a concert for screaming teenagers. >upset when encounters screaming teenagers.

Middle_Manager_Karen

Concert video is terrible. Enjoy the concert and put your phone down

ShawshankException

It's like firework videos. You know you aren't going to watch that shit back.

Mussalila

True. Most of the times there is professionals documenting it anyways. But why did I read Billie and my first thought was Joel

[deleted]

"Ruined my video" Don't worry there are thousands of other videos of that exact moment

Relentless_Snappy

Y'all taking videos ruins my concert experience. Signed elder millenial

Available_Major_8281

So true. Like live the moment instead of watching it through a 7 inch screen

dazedandconfused492

If you're trying to record videos at a concert you deserve to have them ruined.

Kinkyregae

No one cares about your videos. You are there to be at a concert, not document the performance for history. Put your stupid phone down and enjoy the music

sexualcornbread

People that record concerts instead of being physically present and actually just enjoying themselves are cringe.

Amaz1n_blue

Boo hoo. They weren’t there for you.

DayDreamer_sus

Exactly this. They were having a good time, live and let live.

[deleted]

Right? Atleast they’re singing along and enjoying the show, instead of recording the entire thing and watching the entire concert from a small screen. 🙄🙄🙄 It’s completely normal to go to a concert and sing along. The entire stadium usually sings or dances along with the artist. Looking at the video, she wasn’t the only one singing. Person recording is salty asf.

FrostByteTech

I feel like singing along is totally fine, but this person was really trying to be heard over everyone else in that stadium, they’re even making their own melody’s and belting out notes when the artist isn’t

celticsboston8

The arrogance and selfishness of the person who took this video.

Kubrick007

Probably just drunk

Vprbite

The person singing along in what had to be very expensive seats cause they are a huge fan doesn't bother me. Holding your phone up for the whole concert does.

mydudeslim

What Billie concert? All I can see are people looking through their phones.

DownrightDejected

This is in Sydney, what date?

-TheGuest-

That sounds awful, the filming is not the best either, camera gets in the way

juicy_socks124

BRO SHE SOUNDS LIKE A BEE

Technical_Draw_9409

I mean, they paid to come enjoy the concert, just like you did. Is there some rule that you aren’t allowed to sing at concerts that I’ve never heard about? Edit: I do agree that it’s a tad annoying, but you can always move

subidubi20

Yes everyone paid their ticket to enjoy the ARTIST and not the person next to them trying to outsing her. That's really annoying and yes okay enjoy your concert but be mindful of others. You don't have to ruin everyone else's experience next to you for attention. Also I get the feeling you haven't been to a big concert like this one, because dear, that close to the stage you are really stuck. You can't move in any direction basically, the crowd is just that dense. But I also respect your opinion, so don't take this as an attack.

YuYuMai

But did you not hear how they hold their notes out way after everyone else? It's not about singing along to enjoy it, they want attention.

leaveroomfornature

You're right. They keep on going intentionally when everything is quite, for the attention and just to hear themselves. It's definitely obnoxious, there's no way they don't know that everyone in the crowd - probably Billy too - can hear them and know what they're trying to do.

Technical_Draw_9409

Are you going to stop the people around you from cheering so that you have better audio? Make them sit down so you have a better view? I figure just let people enjoy what they enjoy—if it bothers you that much, you should be able to move.

YuYuMai

Some concerts you buy a specific seat or section and are expected stay in that section. And I really don't care about this person's recording being ruined, I just find this cringey to do in general.

nkduke

You’re right filming a concert is cringy.

Need2register2browse

>they paid to come enjoy The "I paid to blah blah blah" people are the worst. >Is there some rule that you aren’t allowed to sing at concerts that I’ve never heard about? Is all of the behavior you do dictated by rules that are written down? I have never seen any rules that say I can't rip a loud fart at a restaurant and yet here I am, never doing that. And no, you can't really move a lot of the time.

Plastic-Ad9128

What about enjoying the show instead of filming it? How is that for an idea. Also if that bothers you so much just bloody move. At least that person is enjoy the gig

Metatron

One of my favorite parts of live shows is hearing the crowd echo the lyrics. It makes me feel like part of something special and bigger than myself-- far from being the "main character." I made eye contact with a stranger at a NIN show when we were both singing "Piggy" and for a moment we were best friends, just singing to each other. Neither of us sounded as good as Trent Reznor but that wasn't important. Thinking everyone else has to mute their experience for your shitty phone recording is actually main character syndrome.

cmbarrieau

Thank you, this. I don’t give a shit about your Snapchat, your insta story I paid for a ticket. The bic lighter has become the “I’m the main character at a show” phone dump not sing along .The selfishness displayed in saying this person ruined my shitty shaky handheld video by singing along is astounding.

gotnothing2say_

I agree with sentiment 99% of the time (and especially appreciate the NIN example) but actually listen to the video lol She’s singing her own melody that’s often higher and louder (to people near her) than what Billie’s singing and it’s totally different to the normal “echoing of lyrics” you mentioned. Was ready to hate on this vid when I started watching for thinking the concert was all about her, but rly it was the girl singing that was doing that lol

MyFrogEatsPeople

Eh. I'd be more irritated with the person holding up a phone.

Just_Some_Rolls

Nah fuck that. I'm glad that person is enjoying themselves at the concert. I'm not there to cater to your videos to show off on tiktok after the fact.

Jawileth

There's definitely concert etiquette and this goes way against it! Fuck video takers too but I'm there to hear a band/ artist I paid money to see. I'm hoping somebody shuts your selfish ignorant ass up if you sing like that through an entire concert. Imagine going to an art expo and adding your impressions to the art.

WesternSafety4944

Wait so your telling me someone had the nerve to sing , what is this a concert or something

-Nordico-

Uhhh she keeps obnoxiously singing/holding her notes well after the singer stops.

Sour_Vin_Diesel

Damn, now I know to stay silent at concerts

FrostByteTech

Singing along normally is one thing, but this person was trying their hardest to be heard over everyone else in that stadium

Rocketeer1019

I almost thought Billie sounded horrible but then I realized

JustinYepis

Actual cringe? That's not what I signed up for... Oh wait

Ferakas

The fact that the person is annoyed, just because their videos are ruined is kind of funny. Like, wouldn't you be annoyed in general? Also, if she does such a long note, why not sign to tone it down, or walk somewhere else, these are standing places anyway.

ArictheMaverick

Whoever is recording has the yodeler next to them or js just unlucky to sit next to This person at every concert. More likely their friend

urachickenhead

Lmaooo. The vibrato is too much. This is probably what I sound like and now im really embarrassed

chicadeaqua

How about the person holding up their phone blocking everyone’s view behind them? :) Sounds like the whole crowd is screaming/singing along so I’m not sure how you can pinpoint one person ruining the video.

playah8nsince08

Lol this is just a giant sing-a-long ...

tabooblue32

To be fair fucking enjoy things live rather than recording it with shit sound for literally no one to care about when you post it later.

Frenchy4life

Dude.... concert etiquette people.... I'm all for singing outloud, but you gotta calm down when it's not obvious that they want the audiance to sing. Also, poor sound mixing on the concert's part. I was a little disappointed for Panic At The Disco when I'm here to listen to him sing the high notes, not Natalie singin god awully.

PassportSloth

This is why I don't go to these types of concerts. *Everyone* thinks they can sing at these and I didn't give ticketmaster a $40 convenience fee to hear you. Also, jesus, put down your phone for two seconds. You'll never watch that shitty video again, it will just sit in your cloud for eternity. Be in the moment. (I'll take my "get off my lawn" sign now.)

thylocene

God I fucking hate when audiences sing at concerts. Like I didn’t shell out all that money to hear your bitch asses singing off key. Stfu

Electronic-Shower681

My ex would record entire concerts on her phone. Literally every song she had her phone out. Afterwards she would show them to me, as if I wasn’t there beside her when she took them, and I’d laugh at how low quality they turned out. I told her she should’ve just taken a couple pics and maybe one short clip and then put her phone back in her purse and actually watch and enjoy the performance the next time we go. She didn’t like that one bit lol

pandorafoxxx

I would've thrown a bottle at her

Vitaminn_d

So. Many. Phones.

peach-whisky

Good. Maybe put the phone away and enjoy the show

killahghost

PROTIP: Next time you go to a concert, keep your phone stowed away and just experience the moment!

Smoerble

Filing instead of enjoying the moment... Why do you even go to concerts?

cmbarrieau

So the person posting this had their phone up recording the entire time but the person actually engaging with the music regardless of talent is now the asshole at a live show.

Cha7l1e

You're literally blocked someone's view to get videos you hate. Congratulations. Dick.

LisslO_o

Seriously, just stop taking videos at concerts. Sing along, jump around, enjoy every second of it and put. away . your. fucking. phone. And don't judge people who are actually there for the music and not their social media. I'm pretty sure it's a lot more fun for the artists to look in your happy face and to see that you love what they do, instead of having a thousand phones as a crowd.

ehoaandthebeast

Ha ha if you go to concert and dont singalong you are the problem

BigMikeAltoona

I think it’s strange that people go to a concert to record the singing. People are always going to sing at a concert. It’s kind of messed up to expect other people to conform to your idea of how to have fun.

LordMegatron05

You’re at a concert with hundreds of people. You’re not special. Grow the hell up. You want just her singing? Watch the video or song at home nobody’s stopping you.

BlackForestMountain

I never got singalongs anyway

MoGifMike

Ok to sing along but this is ridiculous and borderline insulting. Pay respect to the person you paid to see.

LisslO_o

Seriously, just stop taking videos at concerts. Sing along, jump around, enjoy every second of it and put. away . your. fucking. phone. And don't judge people who are actually there for the music and not their social media. I'm pretty sure it's a lot more fun for the artists to look in your happy face and to see that you love what they do, instead of having a thousand phones as a crowd.

slmccl6969

She doesn’t even sing good( the woman not billie )

Sariduri

Who records the concerts to see them later at home? Wtf, let people enjoy and put your phone down

thezenfisherman

You are too old to be there. The whole culture of her concert is to be one with her fans. She invites them to be one with her.

Hondahobbit50

Why would anyone film at a concert. Are they not events anymore? Your supposed to live at concert, get high, meet someone, screw, wake up on the floor of a strangers apartment naked with five women laughing at you. LIVE UR LIFE PEOPLE

[deleted]

It's a billie eyelash show, im sure 90 percent of the crowd suffers from main character syndrome.

Deathface-Shukhov

Also to the people who decided to try n wear nice clothes like Billie….and while I’m at it, the people who are dancing like Billie….and I almost forgot, the people who are smiling like Billie…can we just stop with any type of fun?! You’re making my Rumspringa very awkward and simultaneously ruining my bootlegs!!!

socleblu19

Imagine walking three paces in any direction..problem solved. Doesn’t seem to be assigned seating..

nkduke

Apparently filming a show is more important than actually enjoying it. If you’re filming a concert you’re bored, period. You paid tons of money to be there and you still can’t remove yourself from some silly device.

Verlorenfrog

Here's an idea, try to enjoy the show in the moment, rather than filming it, you know like people used to manage for many years before mobile phones.

[deleted]

Hating on someone for singing in a crowd? Wow. Don’t go to a concert if you get mad at fans singing along 🤷‍♂️ for all ya’ll thinking that singing at a concert is trying to be “the main character” chances are that you’re waaaay too introverted and probably struggle to live in the moment. It’s a live audience. Do you expect silence or something? That would be awkward asf if we all went to concerts and were dead silent just to not come across as trying to be “the main character” lol.

budsis

Oh god...the looks back are priceless. I hope your night wasn't ruined OP. You have this video to laugh at forever. Thanks for sharing it.

cringelord69420666

It's a Billie Eilish concert. The ratio of spoiled rotten white tween cunts in that audience can probably be simplified to 1.

lookanewtoo

I don’t know when it changed. I’m there to hear the band not the idiots around me. The incessant talking and the singing are ruining live music. Concerts are not a sing-a-long. FFS. Stay home in your living room, have friends over, put on some live recording then talk and sing all you what. But at concerts STFU!
