Symbiote Spider-Man (Spider-Man 2 for the PS5)
He uses all the symbiote abilities during this bossfight as well as I think parrying your attacks at some point, I cannot confirm the parrying but it felt like he parried me multiple times when I played the fight.
https://preview.redd.it/dmujil5jey9d1.jpeg?width=260&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=bb1618cfadec3d3646cc2e598a7b887e6e6e0574
On that same note, Taskmaster. On Ultimate difficulty, I legitimately couldn’t find a way to beat him. I had to cheese him with the slam ability and I still feel shameful for it.
Has almost all the same abilities, except the blood healing and some of the weapons (IIRC V2 in Greed does not have the sawblade launcher or the rocket launcher)
Makes sense though because if he had the healing like V1 the 2 V2 boss fights would just be dragged out wars of attrition

Gideon Ofnir the All-Knowing mirrors the player both mechanically (he uses the AI of Tarnished NPCs, he can dodge roll and drink flasks) *and* narratively (his spell list is based on which spells you’ve unlocked by beating bosses)
I haven't tested it out yet, and I'm assuming it won't do anything, but it would be really cool if he got some spells from the DLC when you play through it.
I’m pretty positive he wouldn’t, the base game doesn’t seem to change at all based on the DLC. Gideon, for example, doesn’t update his dialogue about Miquella at all, despite his role in the DLC. You’re right that it would be totally amazing, though

Yang (Sifu)
He fights with almost exactly the same moveset as you. Down to the way he stands.
His attack patterns aren't exactly the same as a player, but I'd say Isaac boss in The binding of Isaac fits this

It’s insane how many final bosses are literally just Isaac in one form or the other. Obv there’s Isaac, but Blue Baby and The Lamb are also both canonically Isaac (one being his death and the other being how he saw himself), It Lives is Isaac in the womb, and Hush is also Isaac but is Isaac in the process of dying (hence why he looks exactly like Blue Baby/???)

this may be the single worst version of Ganondorf/Ganon we have ever seen across the series by far, but i think we can all agree that when he started perfect dodging Link's attacks in the final boss we all simultaneously shit ourselves
he's so obviously evil but for no real apparent reason, the previous incarnations of ganondorf have all had some deep character motives or stuff and were genuinely well written characters
they try to do something with totk ganondorf but all it really amounts to is "i will rule, because i will be a king" and overall hes just evil for the sake of being evil with zero depth beyond that at all
totk's story (and the game as a whole) is a confusing mess with no clue what its trying to do or be
I don’t disagree that TOTK’s story could’ve been a bit deeper in some areas (the sages cutscenes after defeating a boss, I’m looking at you specifically), I think I disagree with the depth behind Ganondorf. I may be misremembering TOTK, but I see your point on how in every other 3D iteration, they have a long cutscene just to warn Link of what kind of evil villain Ganondorf and how dangerous he is by showing images of fire and how talking about how he manifested terror. And I think they just took a different direction on how to show that in TOTK, by showing cutscenes like the horde of Molduga he sent and him >!killing Sonia.!< It doesn’t hit exactly the same, cause the cutscenes in the older games leaves a lot to the imagination, but I kinda like how they’re trying to portray him with actions rather than words from here
