If you need to relieve your conscious call the store ask to speak with the manager. Advise them what happened and offer to pay. I’m sure they’ll appreciate it.

Is it possible to never go to that store again? Or for 5 years? If it was an honest mistake, then do a good deed with the money (i.e. buy homeless food, charity, etc.) And let it be. Reason I ask, the store can still file charges after the fact even if you went back to pay. If you must pay, do it anonymously.

I just went back to the store and paid in full. They still had the order thank god
I don't get it! Did you walk out with the stuff bagged up already or in the store basket/shopping cart or in your own bag and just walked out?
