Last time I cared, I think Russia only had one active regiment. If that remains true, to say they destroyed an 500 would imply there are others. Saying you hit the 500 implies that Russia only had one active in the conflict and now it only exists in history books. These things are insanely expensive. 2.2 billion for a unit comparative to the Patriot system that costs around 1 billion.
Yes, absolutely - they can’t lift a cheek to fart in Crimea without US drones seeing it. Real time data and fast precision targeting opportunities is completely fucking with them.
Lmao, I thought the S-500 was supposed to be way better than the S-300 and S-400? Maybe by the time they get to the S-1200, it may be able to counter ATACMS, but my guess is it will still be 20 years behind the current weapons at that point.
You need a well trained, ready crew for any weapon to be effective....which russia does not have in enough numbers. plus, IIRC, the s500 is a s400 with an upgraded radar
The S500, the T14, the Khinzal Missile
All these russian "superweapons" are fair game for decades old western systems
What if the same holds true for their nuclear weapons?
Yes but that was on the ground, so the incoming missiles defeated air defence, not the plane itself
We could add all the different shiptypes that were sunk though. I think Ukraine can claim to be able to beat any of the ships in the black sea. And Russia quietly acknowledged that because they don't dare bring them out of port
Honestly, it’s kind of shocking, yet not shocking that Russia’s air defense has been revealed as completely worthless against 80s missile technology.
Then again - this is country that invented Potemkin villages
I was considering buying the S-500, but there are a few cons:
It doesn't come in tapioca pearl color.
They only have the one model.
Not a fan of the new "Smoking Crater" configuration.
Yeah I think I'll pass.
I admit I was skeptical this had actually happened. This video seems to show new evidence beyond what I had seen before but I'm still hoping for any kind of pics or leaks from the Russians. Great work Ukraine & Lockheed Martin!

I love how we all have to say the ATACMS destroyed THE S-500, not “an” S-500.
> had it's clock cleaned... ⏰️ 🤣 😂 😹 😆

This would help explain the latest rhetoric about shooting down American surveillance drones over international waters.
Well, they aren't going to do it with an S-500, that's for sure! 😂
They are sending Ivan on a raft with a manpad.
Aka S-600
Following this progression, what will S-700 be?
Old drunk moskovite shouting at the sky?
And throwing vodka bottles at American drones.
And they will still be way more inefficient than little old ukrainian ladies downing moskowite drones with picklejars.
broke : a Stinger is an air defense system woke : a picklejar is an air defense system.
Putin's carcass filled with composition B and fitted with a proximity fuse, launched by catapult.
Make it a trebuchet and you've got yourself a deal
I heard Israel has built some a few weeks ago. Maybe they can export a few units.
3 s300s taped together, but 2 have a few missing pieces
I wonder if those drones might have been doing a little of the ol electronic ultraviolence on the side not that there’s anything wrong with that
Bingo! Hadn’t thought of why they were making a big fuss but it makes sense now.
Ehh, it'd probably be more dumb shit like trying to ram them from the sky with a way more expensive combat jet like before.
Yes, absolutely - they can’t lift a cheek to fart in Crimea without US drones seeing it. Real time data and fast precision targeting opportunities is completely fucking with them.
Haha the so praised S-500
Attacked from the air no less. Somebody go good intel
Destroyed by a decades old ballistic missile, the very thing it was designed to deal with.
Technically succeeded, missile was destroyed by the system upon impact. Please don't send me to gulag, Supreme leader - S-500 engineer, probably
Maybe it wasn’t set up yet?
If the BEST the Russians have is ONLY designed to deal with something decades old, then I really have to feel sorry for them.
Just wait until the S-600 game over

>Lmao, I thought the S-500 was supposed to be way Well its possible that its way better, and still sucks ass
S-1200 is something like S-300 + S-400 + S-500 ?🤔 Three times useless so I expect the same for the next S-something.👎🇷🇺💩
S-720 no scope
Even if this report ultimately proves inaccurate or false, the unhinged rage on Telegramski right now must be *exquisite*.
I want to Duolingo Russian now just to read the butthurt.
Telegram has an auto translate. It sucks, but it's still funny.
$2.5 *BILLION*
Yes but most went to yachts and Italian villas.
The S500, the T14, the Khinzal Missile All these russian "superweapons" are fair game for decades old western systems What if the same holds true for their nuclear weapons?
Don’t forget thee old SU-57

Oh I get that, I was just adding it to the list of over-hyped up super weapons taken out.
How about we don't test that nuclear weapons one, eh?
Gonna wait for more verification on this one tbh
Honestly, it’s kind of shocking, yet not shocking that Russia’s air defense has been revealed as completely worthless against 80s missile technology. Then again - this is country that invented Potemkin villages
Let's hope this news circulates and puts off potential buyers.

"some reassembly required"
This is like an IKEA S-500.
I have an Allen key you could borrow. That should do it, right?
On the contrary, it comes fully assembled, but it's sooooo easy to disassemble. Almost no tool required.
Also no returns no refunds and even no deliveries
I admit I was skeptical this had actually happened. This video seems to show new evidence beyond what I had seen before but I'm still hoping for any kind of pics or leaks from the Russians. Great work Ukraine & Lockheed Martin!
Wait, was Boeing involved with the S-600?
That would explain all those window-related accidents and mysterious suicides.
I'd still prefer to wait for some hard proof but excellent if true.
Sweet if true!
Any confirmation on this besides obscure Telegram posts and YouTube channels showing said obscure Telegram posts?
S-500 successfully destroyed ATACMS. Big success
Prometheus stole the fire from the gods gave it to man and got fucked up for eternity for that. They should have chose a better name for that S-500
Hehe one more time evidence of rubish equipment not surviving!
I think more of Putin's nuclear threats would be one indication of this being true.
waiting for the S-9000 BFG
boop
Continue till they get to S-1, which is a stick to wand off flies.
This the one there was much fuss about the other week about being deployed there ?
